Dude you greatly underestimate how big of an impact you had on the Mario, Sonic, and probably DBZ fandoms. You probably inspired Nazo Unleashed, Sprite Legends (before it sadly got removed from UA-cam), and definitelyhave ushered in a new generation of clones with the return of the greatest sprite series ever. Super Mario Bros. Z (2006-2009) is part of my childhood since 2009, I will never forget it for now. Madness Combat is part of my childhood too, i watched in 2010 sometimes, i love them.

Damn. I know that pretty much everyone pointed out how cool the SMBZ segment was, but I feel like it’s still kinda underrated somehow? Idk. It just feels like it’s not getting as much admiration as I think it should deserve. Especially a year later. Seriously, Pixel Craftian did an AMAZING job on this. The choreography was great, the animation managed to capture the zaniness and expressiveness of the SMG4 characters despite being limited with fairly emotionless sprites, and most of all I liked the idea of how SMG4’s battle style works. The idea that he uses memes in combat is really solid. The only possible criticism I can make with this is that I feel like it would’ve been really funny to have had the different versions of Mario’s interact. Honestly this deserves a full episode on its own, but I guess I could understand why it isn’t. It’s very different and it’s not even really made by Luke. It would work more as a fan-animation, but still. It’s probably the best part of this episode for me.

There is like 3 reboots that ive seen of the series; one by alvin earthworm himself, one by smashinity, and one called Super Mario bros, the phantom mushroom. Haven't seen much of the phantom mushroom but smashinity's one is pretty good

The SMBZ reboot may have gorgeous animation, but I really despise the fact that Basilisx had to be removed to make the reboot possible. He was my favorite character man, that's like rereleasing Sonic Adventure 2 but you remove say, Shadow or Eggman. And his replacement is an abomination, I'm sorry, Mecha Mario fans but I just despise the design of Mecha Mario, it's like Metal Mario and Lanky Kong had a really ugly baby. And Mecha Sonic's redesign? I know a lot of people out there like Neo Metal Sonic (Me included), but it does not embody the spirit of SMBZ to me as much as the Sonic 3 and Knuckles Mecha Sonic. I'd rather watch the Bowser Vs Mecha Sonic One Minute Melee and consider that the canonical ending rather than give the reboot a sporting chance. As for the other 2? Well the reason I hate them is because, take it away Mack! "They're just using the same dang ideas over and over again. What kind of cut rate production is this?" I'm sorry, but I would rather watch Super Mario Bros : Heroes Of The Stars than watch SMBZ for the millionth time. Not me, I never heard of newgrounds when I was a kid, I played on other sites. Now many of the ones I used to play as a child or i have forgotten them or cannot be played anymore as they required flash player
I love cliffhangers during arcs because it gets me interested to keep watching when new episodes release. However, if there is no arc going on or the series isn’t just one big story, then cliffhangers bother me a lot.
Can we respect how well violent Mario is in this episode usually he doesn't fight just kinda throws something then runs away or gets his ass whooped but this time he just about killed SMG4 and absolutely obliterated tricky s minions
I love how smg4 is sort of educating the younger generation of old golden trademarks like Newgrounds and also giving nostalgia and entertainment to the generation who experienced that kind of stuff in their past childhood, I really respect that
I gotta agree of you,but there are some more that are criminally underrated,much of Edmund McMillen's games such as HOST and Tri-Achnid,or Florian Himsl's Seed of Destruction. I gotta say though,2014 to now are the dark times.Yeah,Friday Night Funkin revived Newgrounds but brought a shit ton of drama.

I love cliffhangers during arcs because it gets me interested to keep watching when new episodes release. However, if there is no arc going on or the series isn’t just one big story, then cliffhangers bother me a lot.
Can we respect how well violent Mario is in this episode usually he doesn't fight just kinda throws something then runs away or gets his ass whooped but this time he just about killed SMG4 and absolutely obliterated tricky s minions

I love how smg4 is sort of educating the younger generation of old golden trademarks like Newgrounds and also giving nostalgia and entertainment to the generation who experienced that kind of stuff in their past childhood, I really respect that
I gotta agree of you,but there are some more that are criminally underrated,much of Edmund McMillen's games such as HOST and Tri-Achnid,or Florian Himsl's Seed of Destruction.
I gotta say though,2014 to now are the dark times.Yeah,Friday Night Funkin revived Newgrounds but brought a shit ton of drama.

Yeah you’re right maybe smg4 could make multiple parts if he wanted since that would be really interesting involving old series and games. I was really happy to see meat boy and especially binding of Isaac in there but yeah there’s still classics out there and Friday night funkin did have positives but many consequences too. It’s just what I think though I guess
