Like others have already said a lot of the love for this album is nostalgia and it's very strongly relatable for a lot of people on the time of it's release, as a lot of us who love this album were probably at the age of just finding our footing with relationships and stuff. It captures that whole vibe really well, sonically and lyrically. I get the feeling it doesn't hit as much for you guys due to this and your circumstances making it not really relatable as you mentioned on Doing It Wrong. Which I feel also soured maybe some really good tracks later on in the listing. His story telling on Look What You've Done is really nice and sincere, it's one of his best songs imo. Maybe not sonically as admittedly it does drag a little. I think the vibe on Real Her is nice also, Wayne and Andre's verse are both fun and filled with witty one liners. I think we can all agree The Ride is amazing too, glad you guys liked that one.
crazy to think she never listened to this before. absolutely had to be there in 8th grade on the ipod i bought with allowance money. when this came out it was just unreal music. best album he has hands down.
I think NWTS is a good album to react to next. It's my favorite and most concise album of his(13 songs and 2 bonus tracks). The albums has a pretty good balance of the rap, r&b, and pop stuff. While his voice, lyrics, flows, charisma, production is also more improved from Take Care, this was also a time when Drake starting to rap over more harder hip hop instrumentals then the ones he was doing on Take Care, Thank Me Later, and So Far Gone.
Weeknd didn't write The Ride, Good Ones Go etc. He only co-wrote Shot For Me & Practice. The other songs with Abel started off as Weeknd tracks or were feats but Drake wrote the lyrics he sings and raps himself

Take care was the soundtrack to our lives in Hs and college , you just had to be there
This album is so legendary ❤ absolutely so impactful! Nostalgia for days! If you heard this album for the first time and you were a fan already you will always remember where you were when you heard it! Timeless
This is 'the one" for lots of people off of nostalgia honestly, and I think I enjoy the r&b style a bit more even when it gets repetitive like you said. To me, NWTS is his most complete album but I also really like Views and IYRTITL
Nostalgic as heck! It was my senior year, I had turned 18 in October and he dropped this in November of 2011, Mann time flies by 😅 I’m 31 now 😮💨😂
probably one of the best albums of all time
I hate when they say drake isn’t a rapper, foh. With as many hit rap songs he has puts him up there with the greatest rappers.
You don’t understand how hype headlines gets me to this day
Yall should've let her listen to Thank Me Later first. Hits on hits.
Over my dead body will always be drakes number 1 song I don't care what anybody says
This is Classic Drake. Old Drake Albums > New Drake Albums.
Over my dead body’s initial reaction “that’s nice” that intro is beautiful always.
CLASSIC ‼️
Proud of you , shot for me , look what you’ve done , hell yeah , practice , the motto were my bangers ❤😎
This version of Drake was undeniable. Idc what’s happened recently.
@@GJMartinez.”amazing” is a stretch
@@ideozublake8036nwts is amazing but other than that I don’t think he has anymore amazing albums. Still makes a lot of amazing songs still tho
I was in university when this came out now I’m touching 34 soon. Life comes at you fast. But this album brings back so many fond memories of my younger self. Drake really made music that was the soundtrack to our lives.
She responds to chords/pads in music, Just like I do. I remember loving everything Pharrell and N.E.R.D. did because they used “pads” a lot in their bridges and interludes music 🎼
Love yall energy 🙏🏾
The number of times I've listened to this album on the way to work
Im soo freaking glad I was able to go to “The Club Paradise” tour back in 2012 when Take Care came out. Probably my favorite concert I’ve gone too. With ASAP Rocky & Kdot opening up for him. Still have my merch shirt from that day till this DAY!
damn the last 5 songs are considered drakes best songs ever 😂😂, doing it wrong and look what youve done is some of drakes best work
I enjoyed watching the reactions and listening to the responses. I love it when people listen deeply to the music and lyrics
Thats crazy this album is a goated 10/10
Drakes best album and one of the best albums of all time in my book!
take care is one of the best hip hop,R&B and pop album
no cap❤
Crew Love is still my favorite Drake song. It's one of those songs that just seems to put me in a good space.
Only guy I see give thank me later its flowers. My favorite drake album, up there with take care.
i really need to know where you got the lamp from?
Nice reaction as always. You guys really became my favorite reaction channel, keep it up! Greetings from germany 🙏😌
ikea! thank you so much 🙏
I remember being in high school when this dropped, literally “what a time to be alive”. Definitely a classic, no skip album.
AH I NEEDED THIS
You two have to Nothing Was The Same, his greatest album hands down and she’ll love it I just know it.
Classic. Nostalgic. I miss these days.
Best Drake album ever
What I would do to listen to this album for the first time again! 😅 I remember the exact day listening to it with a work friend on the way to a night shift, we listen to this over and over was amazing!
NWTS & IYRTITL are must listens after this reaction
listing to old drake post-beef feels different idk how to explain it but it goes just a lil harder
i had just graduated high school when this album released so it's a very nostalgic and "becoming my own person" time for me
YES - These next 4 albums by Drake are arguably classics.
Chills when that piano comes in on ‘Crew Love’
I think NWTS is a good album to react to next. It's my favorite and most concise album of his(13 songs and 2 bonus tracks). The albums has a pretty good balance of the rap, r&b, and pop stuff. While his voice, lyrics, flows, charisma, production is also more improved from Take Care, this was also a time when Drake starting to rap over more harder hip hop instrumentals then the ones he was doing on Take Care, Thank Me Later, and So Far Gone.
Travis wasn't lying when he say Drake is a type of guy who love stripper for personality 30:15
Take Care the best work. Grew a whole generation fr I was a freshman in hs when in dropped
I miss the old drake yall😔
He still there don’t let the peoples bias make you think otherwise you just gotta listen
@@gabrielespinal5982bro need to lock in & come up with an rnb concept album
He is absolutely still there
@@x0x0skiller2the man literally told you guys he doesn’t know how to rap like this on for all the dogs 😂
@@Bimmerboybobbythen he did it on away from home
Weeknd didn't write The Ride, Good Ones Go etc. He only co-wrote Shot For Me & Practice. The other songs with Abel started off as Weeknd tracks or were feats but Drake wrote the lyrics he sings and raps himself
I forgot how iconic this album is… damn brought back a lot of memories hearing these tracks
Nothing was the same is the best drake album
Agreed. My favorite album of all time ❤
I love this channel so much
When Drake is gone people will finally realize we will never get anyone like Drake ever again…
Drizzy is the GOAT 🐐
