hello I was wondering can I use Atari controller on C64 mini I do got adapter serial to usb and when I plug it in its not working because I dont like that came with c64 mini but I can just use it for the menus and select the game and stuff and use the other controller for playing the game thanks
The C64 Mini is basically a System on Chip with an emulator of the Commodore computer embedded. I am unaware of someone hacking the device and adding NES support. Your best bet would be to download an NES Emulator such as Nestopia or put together a RetroPi.
No, this is not real hardware. It is an SOC Design board with an emulator firmware. The USB ports are accessible for keyboard, mouse and USB storage device, but I very much doubt, a Disk Drive can be connected without some serious engineering. Your best bet would be to find a working C64, and find a way to dump the disk images. Maybe the ZoomFloppy is what you need: www.go4retro.com/products/zoomfloppy/
Hi There, I assume you mean the newer "The C64" full keyboard computer. Unfortunately, I do not yet have one to test, as they have not landed in the US at this time.
If they bought it for nostalgia of owning a C64 when they were growing up they will. Most of the fun i had with a c64 as a kid was figuring out how to get things to work.
Thank you for watching. There was a microphone issue (or lack there of to be exact). That was resolved in future episodes. I hope you tune in and subscribe. After I finish the current series on the ZX Spectrum, I will likely revisit the C64 Mini.
Thanks. Yea, multi-disk is hackish. It would be nice if they had two drives baked in, or an ability to swap. I filed an RFE with the vendor, but I haven't heard back other than a canned reply. Using multi-disk in the VICE emulator is much easier, and I proved this point in my second episode on Pascal programming. If you have any suggestions for a future episode, please post them here or submit to the contact form on the website.
Hi, where can I download the version of the cjm confiuration file tool you show in your video ?

Your volume is very low. Great video.
Thank you for the feedback. Audio issues are now resolved in Episodes 2 and beyond.
Thanks. Will be watching and waiting for them.
What a hassle. How many people who bought this thing to play games are going to go through all this? Thanks for the information, though.
