"How to Draw" is intimidating to me but it is a big art goal of mine to work through the book in 2025. It seems like THE most recommended art book on YT. I am working through simple art books now that have me drawing and shading basic objects and Framed Perspective Vol. 1. I just got "Color and Light" and I can't wait to look through it! Color theory is the math of art to me and I am just beginning to comprehend it haha. I see you draw motorcycles too! This is something I really like to draw too so I will definitely check out more of your videos!
Sounds like you have a plan for 2025! That’s awesome. Let me know what else you’d like to see, I’m happy to share any thoughts or tips that might be helpful. (I’ll be posting everything on “Sharay Design” 👌 )
Gurney’s book is a fantastic reference for anyone that likes cool images and has a desire to use color in an impactful way. Some stuff might be a bit advanced, but there’s a ton of foundational information packed in as well.
Thanks for the recommendation, and I second what you say about Scott’s RENDER and DRAW. Have ‘em both, great books.
