      Simply class. You don't gain anything running another team down.

    Proud of this Illini team. Every game they are growing and getting tougher. Coach Underwood and staff are prepareing them for a grueling Big Ten schedule.

    Boswell is by far the best player. KJ delivers points but causes way too many turnovers. Where the heck was Riley? One and done - no way. And who drives to the hoop like Terrence Shannon Jr? We could use that aggression right now.

    • @freshmozzarello
      @freshmozzarello День тому

      Yeah someone who can get to the hoop like TSJ is the biggest thing we're missing. We shoot so many 3's, and in the games where we can actually make them it works out, but it's brutal to watch when we can't

      Yeah, those NBA guys don't know $hit, projecting KJ as a lottery pick. Honestly, dude, if you think Kylan Boswell is a better player, you need to stop commenting. No one who understands the game would agree with you.

    The press core needs to ask why Humicrous is still starting!! He needs to play Luke Goode style minutes… Off the bench, if he hits a couple keep him in, if not back to the bench.

      And meanwhile Ty Rodgers sits in street clothes. Is he leaving or staying? We could play him so much and I guess he didn’t think he would get the minutes . That’s one of the most frustrating things about this team . He has to get back out there . Ty if you see this please reconsider your decision #TyRodgers ,

    That was a great game . I’m still upset about Tennessee but this helped me get over it . Missouri was really good . The team is coming along . For a group of guys who never played together, they are getting better and better.

    Good to see this team bounce back in a big game after the Tennessee home loss. Kylan, Tre, Morez, and Tomi all with strong performances in support of KJ. More big games on tap, including at Oregon next week in MKA.

    Missouri is really, really tough. Full of longer, tough players that relentlessly drive to the hoop. This year for teams that aren't deep, teams that aren't tough, or not prepared the havoc is going to create a lot of wins for Mizzou. Coach U said they were a really good team. My eyes told me the same thing. They've already beaten Kansas. The SEC is going to be very tough this year as illini fans can already attest. Mo is ranked around #50 on net and Kenpom. I see them rising. This win on a neutral court will look better as the season ages.
    Next big game up is at Oregon Jan 2, who is ranked near Illinois on net and Kenpom.
    Side note. What's with the national lack of respect for Illini bball? Purdue, Michigan, and Mich St are all ahead in the rankings. I have watched all 3 teams. I'd pick the illini over all 3 on a neutral court. Purdue in my opinion is the most overrated team in the country. They are still riding the Edey respect train. He's gone, lol. I would make a bet that Purdue will have a hard time even making 5th place in the big 18. (10)

      @ Brother, again, you don’t know ball. Your BF % is too high to be critiquing basketball. Booth is twice the defender of Humrichous, and also twice the rebounder. If Ben isn’t hitting 3s, he can’t be on the floor.

    I still can’t understand why ty Rodgers red shirted . We need him and he just bowed out. I’m disappointed. For a guy with the attitude he showed everybody, I’m dumbfounded. He could get minutes on this team . His energy alone is something some of the other guys we play don’t have . Ty put that damn jersey on and get out there .

    KJ needs to be less of a point guard and more of a wing player I feel. Kylan is a better ball handler and a bit tougher. KJ will get better but he’s not there yet as a point guard. Too many turnovers
