the terrace and the window facing the park ,the balcony and the masterbedroom and the outside wall and the gatee is something i really liked about this house
First of all, having a house in the posh Koramangala area in Bangalore, especially next to a park, seems like a total jackpot! Your parents were visionary when they bought that land and planted that tree. I'm so glad you didn't tear down the house to build apartments, as is the trend these days. The interiors are really classy and minimalistic. The only thing that saddens me is that the exterior charm (the curve balcony) of a 90s/2000s house was lost in the process. I wish the architect had tried to preserve that aspect. I would love to connect with the architect in the future to renovate my parents' house and make it more functional in the same manner!
While every new project on buildofy is wow these days there are only a few projects that leave a lasting impact. The park right next door makes this home unforgettable.... Congrats to the visionary who years ago chose a home next door to a park( next door would be a wrong way to describe😂) the home looks like it is built within a park😂😂😂. Now how many homes can claim such a bragging right? The location is stunning and that sets the tempo. The design and build is super wow. My only misgiving is I'm a stickler for clean lines and straight walls in rooms but here there are too many curves and angular walls in the home for my liking but who are we to judge. I guess engonokically straight lines are easier to live in but I guess these curved and angular edges add to the eccentric beauty of the home. The designer and builder ( I guess in this case, the owners themselves) have done a fabulous job. What I loved the most is the copious natural light the ise of greenery inside and the unlimited greenery from park which makes this home stand out. The furniture especially is super impressive, the stunning curios from around the world and most importantly the small yet very divine Pooja room all makes the home a dream home. I can see the happiness on the face of the designer couple when they talk about this project because this looks like a labour of love and they have all rights to be super proud of this grand and wow project. Wishing them all happiness in this home...❤❤
Home by the Park, transformed and designed by none other than the brilliant architect Kiran Nayak , stands as a testament to his exceptional skills. Beautifully decorated by his talented wife Apoorva , it exudes warmth, elegance and nostalgias . They did our house, and their commendable work speaks volumes.Way to go! Absolutely stunning.
If any clients are watchcing this video soo here's the proof trust the process when architect and interior designer says something you will love the end result just like this beautiful master piece. I can't say much it's just about perfect
Pity you removed the balcony area, which was a feature of the first floor. Should have created a curved bathroom following the dimensions of the balcony. But generally a good refurbished project. Like the park and the balcony opening onto the park. Simple finishes are part of the excellent design.
This house tour of a family home in Bengaluru is truly captivating! The home's design beautifully integrates with its surroundings, offering stunning views of the adjacent green park. The blend of modern architecture with natural elements creates a serene and inviting atmosphere. Each room seems thoughtfully designed to maximize light and space, making the home feel both luxurious and comfortable. What features of this house do you find most appealing? I love how the outdoor views are seamlessly incorporated into the living spaces. Let's discuss what makes this home so special!
See how the park enhanced the home. Banglore should have been like this throughout but sadly greed has taken over which resulted in destruction of green spaces.
I think the interior of the house is beautifully renovated and the materials used were also great. But, I can't get over the new brutal exterior of the house, it's lost the charm and character that the old house had resonated. Also, the courtyard being replaced with a formal living made me sad.
Thank you for your comments. As I mentioned in the video, we also loved the original home. However, it was dark, impractical with odd-shaped rooms and no longer suitable for accessibility. The courtyard was nice but had become darker, less private (due to the park) and very difficult to maintain. We’ve kept what was important to us and retained the memory of the old home. The style is what we like, and I agree it can be subjective but we didn’t build it for anybody else. As long as we are happy and the home is adding value to the context, that’s all that matters. Remember that most others would have demolished and built apartments. We chose to renovate, even though it was harder. Have a nice day.
@@tallstoreys I totally agree with you. The house has a minimalistic and plain exterior, but once you step inside, the house's character shines through. It's a beautiful, cosy, and well-lit home that piques people's curiosity. I loved it!
It is a beautiful home retaining memories, as well as adapting to growing needs.I stayed in Bangalore in early 2000's and was charmed by the fact that all houses maintained a lovely garden and life was not as it is these days..Wish Bengaluru / Bangalore gets back to it's former glory of salubrious climate, greenery and lakes..let us all manifest the same for the world
Bnglr content on this channel doesnt hit as hard as the the other cities. As someone raised abroad and an avid reviewer of this channel . I'm just not impressed. No character or mind-blowing creativity that would be functional in the long term.

Contemporary can be merged with the characteristics and details of the old house. Its sad to see them strip the personality away and make a concrete chunk - classic Bangalore moment lol
This house is not just contemporary but it also give a home vibe something which is almost missing in the other fancy homes
Thank you!
This one is the best renovation I have seen till now
the terrace and the window facing the park ,the balcony and the masterbedroom and the outside wall and the gatee is something i really liked about this house
The only reason we humans live because of this beautiful green trees which can provide you more oxygen 💞💞

This home exemplifies the true meaning of transformation.
Usually people demolish a house and all the memories are lost.Wonderful work.

Do you have elevator because of old age people are with me
❤
Nice., but stairs are too small
Nope. The stairs are actually 1200 wide. Not narrow at all.
What amused me is why wasn't an elevator planned for aged parents instead of a tiny guest bedroom.
I’ve created my parents their own home, so this cozy room is more than sufficient. Glad you were amused. Have a nice day. 🤟
@@tallstoreys can i have your contact information, Just wanted to discuss on my home architecture
Agree. And this couple will also grow old o e day. It's a better decision to have a lift so everyone can hang out together on upper floors if need be.
Justifying concrete 😂😂😂 old houses have such good charm these guys destroyed everything and are now justifying 😂😂

Original house ws mor nice than this one
I agree. It had better character, especially from the exterior.
I think from the outside , older home looked better and less brutalist.

husband talks about sapling and spiritual things which is non materialist but wife mentioned origin of luxurious things to flaunt richness 😂😂
