    Just got my strong man edition. Absolutely love them. Use them in a circuit all body workout. Just awesome.

    Awesome! thanks for the tip about the door hinge-side, as well! I never felt very safe having it on the latch side with no locking mechanism.

    Wow Jablye1979 you are strong! We would recommend if you've gotten to this point ,that you start to do decline pushups with the bands instead. Find a stable place like your couch and put your feet up on it then push up off the floor with the bands in your hands and going behind your back. That way you'll still get a incline but you'll be able to push more weight.

    I prefer to do the exercise without flaring the elbows out.

      @TravPitt that's very surprising to me. I've always tried to have elbows out and I never had a problem. I thought elbows in was cheating. I'll keep this in mind.

    Question bodylastics? Can you set that incline heavy enough with those bands where you can got 10 to 12 reps to complete failure without going off balance? I want to be able to train heavy with bands like weights.

    • @bfreeman4
      @bfreeman4 3 роки тому

      Definitely. Click some extra bands on there to increase resistance to the point that 10 to 12 reps brings you to failure. Balance may be tricky for the first few times, but you'll soon learn to stabilize them without any problems. Can't beat the cost of a set of bands and the dozens of different exercises you can do with them, all with exactly the amount of resistance you need. Dumbbells can't do that. Love them.

    I'm 5'11''' having this closest to the bottom hinge is killing my back and shoulders but don't feel a thing in my chest .... sorry I'm new to this any suggestions?

    Any advice on how to go heavy for an exercise like this? One of the problems I have is that I can push far more than my body can counterbalance. If I try to push, all it does is push me backwards.

    I didn't see the difference between normal chest press and incline.
    Can anyone tell me.

      It's the angle that your arms are pushing out at. Flat bench has your arms pushing straight up, which would be perpendicular to your body. Incline has your arms going at an angle towards the direction of your head. Each position works a different part of the chest (top, middle, lower). Hope that helps.

    I did these but I honestly felt more tension in my arms than chest. I’m definitely doing something wrong lol
