I will continue to pray!!! Satan wants to destroy, but God is able to save! There is Hope!!! If mom gives her life and heart to the Lord Christ; He will set her free: make her free from alcohol addiction and bless her for a new life..!!! Invite her to go to Church on a regular basis for service and do not hesitate to approach the ministers and be sure to ask the ministers to pray for this need..!!! Medicine will not free you from this (short-term) Willpower will not free you (short-term) God will give you complete freedom! Believe and act! The human heart, darkened and defiled by evil, no longer reflected the glory of God, but through the incarnation of the Son of God, the intention of Heaven was fulfilled. God dwells in human nature, and through saving grace the heart again becomes His temple. God intended the temple in Jerusalem to be a place of constant testimony to man's high destiny. But the Jews did not understand the significance of this building, which they were so proud of. They did not submit to the Spirit of God and become His holy temple. The courtyards of the Jerusalem temple, turned into an ordinary bazaar, accurately reflected the state of the temple of the heart... Having cleansed the temple of traders and buyers, Jesus declared that His goal was to cleanse hearts from the defilement of sin, manifested in... selfish lusts and bad habits that corrupt the soul... No one can, on his own, free himself from the slavery of the vices that have taken possession of the hearts. Only Christ can cleanse the temple of the soul. But He does not want to come to us as an uninvited guest. Jesus does not enter the heart as He entered the ancient temple, but says: “Behold, I stand at the door and knock: if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and will dine with him, and he with Me” (Revelation 3:20). He will not come for a day, for He promises: “I will dwell in them and walk in them… they will be My people” (2 Corinthians 6:16)… His presence will purify and sanctify the soul so that it will be “a holy temple in the Lord… and a habitation God by the Spirit." (see Ephesians 2:21, 22) (The Desire of Ages, pp. 161, 162). The Lord gives the Holy Spirit to His servants more willingly than parents give good things to their own children.
