What makes me cry is how he holds his spear with intent:
a warrior ready for battle holds a spear end towards the back, point forward roughly to eye sight and towards enemy, creating distance from him while within your range;
A person who would use a spear with the back end up and point towards the knees, like Asgore, is that of either finishing off a lain enemy... Or the slaughtering of helpless animals and children.
this sounds like the opening of an epic war drama anime.

Six of them hold strange heart-like items in them... and one is empty. The king looks down at you with a smile, but sadden eyes. Then, with a soft voice, he speaks.*

*With a swift motion, he unsheathes his trident, and, with a powerful strike, brings it down... destroying the Mercy button. Its clear now. By the end of this battle... one of you will perish.*

Asgore, asgore ,asgore una cancion que quizas no me la he escuchado tanto pero cada vez que la escuchaba me la vivia al máximo el juego que estuviera jugando o simplemente dejo volar mi mente pero ahora tengo esta versión que me gusta mas que la original pero bueno muy bien hecho me voy a escuchar estas canciones muchas veces, gracias por estas canciones de undertale lo digo de corazón
Es una gran canción, y una de las razones por la que Asgore es de mis personaje favoritos. Lastima que canónicamente no hay un combate con él en la ruta genocida.
Con el monton de neutral endings en undertale, me hubiera gustado ver un final en dónde solo matas a toriel, flowey y a undyne, sans no te juzga, y Asgore al desesperarse por ello te quisiera matar.

No it’s a better game, Undertale
To be honest, only Osirois captured the essence of this song in their remix. Everyone tries to make it the ultra mega epic fight music, while that version captures the essence of the neccessary deed which Asgore does not want to do but he knows he must.
Osirois's version and mine are orchestral, but completely different. Hers is more emotionally focused, mine is more epic/fight-oriented. I don't think one is better than the other, you're just more affected by the emotional genre 🙂
@AnthonyLoReMusic This. Personally, I love both, because they serve different purposes. One incites feelings of sadness and regret, the other feelings of anger and vengeance. Both can easily describe Asgore, at some point.
