I like this album but what he said about his previous albums is mad weird. I don't mind artists not liking their previous works but the way he went about it wasn't sitting right with me.
I think he is trying too hard to be seen as this new eclectic artist he wants to be.. he needs to embrace his path and know it'll take a while before he gets there.. I mean he only dropped one Project and he is already shitting on his old music..
That I get...they never reminded me of one another...but we can now see and hear that Yachty would produce and engineer too
I think it's more the trajectory of their careers... they both blew up very young with their first/rough drafts.. & at around 25yrs old they both realised the kind of artists they'd rather be...
