Coming back to this so much later; Joe is passionate because he sees this young kid who had a big hit and is seeing early success, and he doesn’t want Yachty to make the same mistakes that he did in the hip-hop industry. He didn’t take the right approach by raising his voice and trying to not listen to anything that Yachty had to say because he felt that since he’s experienced, that Yachty should just listen but I genuinely feel like he came into this with good intentions.
