I have a 2009 Honda Odyssey Touring with Nav, and I'd like to upgrade the system but not sure what to buy. I want it to look as close to factory as possible. I'm currently using an FM transmitter that allows me to use my Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra, so Spotify and YT play through my speakers. The phone calls work, but since the van is so cavernous. Callers don't get a good sound. I appreciate any help and links to specific well fitting kits, thanks.
@@tishm2102 I have a Bluetooth receiver connected via the aux port in the front to play music thru the speakers and If I need to make a call I usually hold it on speaker phone. 😂

There are a few head units available, but if yours has the entertainment system in the rear you will lose some features that are controlled by the OEM unit

How to connect Tablet to Car? Through the IXCC? I have LG’s Tablet, So I need to connect Tablet to IXCC through Android Data Cable? Secondly, The 1Mii Bluetooth needs to be connected to the same IXCC?
@@jalpatel5050 i believe the 1mii has the capacity to have a few bluetooth devices connected, so you could be able to play music from ur iphone while the tablet is connected to it (but not playing music,)
The tablet usually hold charge for a couple of days (my commute is short). Sometimes I charge it with a micro usb in the car or sometimes I just take it inside the house and charge it there.

The original stereo is the one with the navigation, I just wanted something with a more modern look. It is working pretty good still, sound quality is the same playing a CD.
Exactly because once u use the chromecast device U can only watch it on the rear tv. The pad doesn't show the video once u cast it to chromecast. I just did a set up similar to this and my phone doesn't show the video. Basically its either your phone/pad or the rear tv and not both. So i would love to see this set up running having the pad and rear tv showing the same video.

@@jorgejimenez7389 si se puede hacer, si ves el video 9:00 aca muestro lo que necesitas para poder colocarlo en la.pantalla de arriba. Basicamente cualquier input (roku, Chromecast, apple tv, computer, consola de juego) que coloques en el adapter se va ver x video input en la pantalla de arriba. En mi caso yo tengo el Chromecast connectado atras, activo hotspot en el telf, y el Chromecast se conecta al internet x medio del hotspot. Si abro nexflix en el telf voy a ver el logo de "cast" y ahi selecciono el Chromecast que tengo en el carro y se muestra en la pantalla. La unica incoveniencia es que no se puede escuchar la radio o cd ya que el input de video toma el audio tambien, en otras palabras si estan viendo una pelicula la van a escuchar tambien los que van adelante.

@@roberthensley7130 Yeah these 08 vehicles have some tricks on them. I believe only the one with the screen on the rear has those inputs.
Gave me many new ideas. Thank you. I installed bluetooth from back of my stereo to eliminate the wires.
Great idea, I actually bought a bluetooth as well to set it up...but I haven't gotten a chance to play with it.

Correct, you can actually plug in anything with a HDMI port. So a fire tv wil work.

The tablet is connected to the radio via bluetooth. The 1mii bluetooth is connected to the aux port.

What's the original radio you have there. That alone is pretty cool how it feels down.
The original stereo is the one with the navigation, I just wanted something with a more modern look. It is working pretty good still, sound quality is the same playing a CD.
