Honestly if Im remembering correctly I thought I had read a patch notes in the past that had tweaked the turrets for the training range so theyd kick on a tad later otherwise in the past it would shred alot of people even if they were diving from an acceptable range.
.... is it just normal to be so bad that you can't even manage to dodge the turrets on the training stage? i see people messing it up so much . but i just did it as intended
this game allowing you to find the premium currency in missions allows you to get new warbonds for new equipment, one of the few games where microtransactions are actually just optional
That's only technically tbh, you still only get 10 credits once you find a stache of them, and each warbond costs 1k, so... Arguably, if you manage to collect one stache per mission (sometimes I have found none, and other times 2, but let's go for the average), it'll take 100 missions to get one warbond.
@aboszor4442 The average is at least 2-3 patches per mission if you actively farm them on lower difficulties, otherwise they are more of a side-thing. In trivial that means you can get A LOT in just 5 minutes.
@@aboszor4442 There is a small chance to get 100 in a stash, it has happened twice for me. Also all of the premium warbonds have 300 super credits available for purchase so you only need to collect 700 on the battlefield. It's still a grind but doable
Something weirdly appropriate of you getting just out of training, being redirected by an emergency order, and arriving on a deserted city street seeing a lone voteless and not knowing if its friendly or not.
hey man, great to see a new diver joining the cause. im on steam and happy to be a battle brother with you if you ever need a buddy. Its truly a great game, and even better with friends!
I think you're gonna love this game. My friends and I have been playing since the release and it's been an amazing time! Definitely better with friends than solo though, I will say that.
This is awesome I am a huge fan of Helldivers and it's lore even fan lore that became canon like the Massacre of Malevelon Creek. Would love to see you play more of this.
I like how even though he missed out on past events like the Malevelon Massacre and the Meridian Mess, he still got to experience the Calypso Calamity, which has the highest Helldiver casualty rate so far. 😂 new events are unfolding all the time and it’s great to still see lower ranks joining up and assisting the war efforts 🫡
definitely some more episodes man! this was cool to watch, as someone who’s been playing so long haha. always fun to see someone experience it for the first timr
That was a lot of fun to watch! Even for a Helldiver like me, having the peace to hear all those undemocratic Illuminate noises was so cool. Time for your Automaton video! The experience will be vastly different :D
Crossplay allows you to play with people on pc if you're on PS5, or PS5 if you're on PC. Also, that 'spend money to get better items deal'. Not really. You can find those premium currency as drops on planets. It's more of a 'spend money cause you're impatient' deal.
It is absolutely WILD that the first mission a recently trained helldiver gets is Calypso. It's another breed of soldiers instead of Mavelon Creek, they are forged in the fires against the illuminate.
This game is so fun. if you play with a friend it's a lot better tho. Also you should defnitely try out the different factions. The game can get really hard. you were playing on difficulty 1 and it goes up to 10. Don't forget to call down your support weapons and use your orbital attacks/ airstrikes. you can buy more of those on your ship if you level up. also there is a default battlepass that you have from the start on
One of my favorite easter eggs is in training. Just before you cross the line to get your cape on either side is the Helldiver contract. One of the stipulations is, that reading the contract is considered treason 😄
I would like to mention that warbonds are optional and can be purchased for free by playing the game enough, as the premium currency spawns naturally in game
I def want more, u need a squad to make it fun, and its more fun on higher levels. Plus you didnt even try the bots or bugs. You also havent unlocked any other guns or strategems
You can try to join a full squad off camera to see how much you like it, it's loads of fun to play with others, even unknown players, it allows you to tackle much harder challenges and you need a squad at your back when things start getting crazy (the difficulty of the first mission is stated as 'Trivial') ! Try the bugs and the bots too, spreading managed democracy really is a lot of fun !
To be fair the illuminate are a harder faction to do even on lower difficulties and this game is best with a team, all the shenanigans makes it a real Helldivers experience
I wasnt gonna get it... about a month after release I got it. Wife regrets it. I REGRET NOTHING! I've dove through the thick and thin. I never left when it got hard.
If you are running mouse and keyboard. It helps being able to move and call in stratagems at the same time, this can be easily done by changing from arrow keys to WASD, but using a mouse (thumb) button as W.
I like the part where you think "it's difficult alone" is because you have to run back and forth to press buttons. You don't have time to do anything but shoot stuff on higher difficulties. Which is also the reason a 40 minute time limit is really not a lot.

I think this is the first time I've seen a new diver not get shredded by the gatling sentries. Impressive.
That’s what I was thinking lol
Honestly if Im remembering correctly I thought I had read a patch notes in the past that had tweaked the turrets for the training range so theyd kick on a tad later otherwise in the past it would shred alot of people even if they were diving from an acceptable range.
I find that funny since my first run was like his but, quicker.

@@nathanperquin9910I think it’s just a thing of sprinting right after diving for many, so they stand back up right into the fire

Feels so strange watching someone do a first time playthrough straight out of training and hitting up the Illuminate.
@@RDehuvyne yeah i hope the movie adds something like that
I think more episodes would be fun. its harder when you are solo but normal and maybe even hard missions are very possible solo.
It's doable just know it's A completely different game with a full team that knows what they're doing.
Super Helldives are easy solo if you have sunk 400+ hours into the game and have no life... I need help.
@@dapperpotato4243still a very diffefent experience with a decent team

Crossplay = PC and Consol players playing in the same match, so keep that on if you want to play with 'everyone'.
You can play with randoms, the game has a pretty welcoming community willing to teach new players.
Yeah, I just did another video today and another player joined one of my missions
