Your descriptions are always a delight to read, this one is no different, you really captured the essence of this explore! Love the little resident too :) Great job!
Fabulous find! The stove is beautiful. Thank you for sharing with us. The porcupine appeared to be huddled in the corner terrified. Poor little thing. Yeah, he has lived there for a very long time. *God bless*
I really think that you and other urban explorers are doing a great service by recording these videos. Some future historians will have a treasure trove to go through. You are recording a moment in time, buildings and contents that would never have been seen or appreciated. Thank you. Be careful though, I was worried about you on the stairs.
I always enjoy your videos, I'm a dual staircase person too. Interesting room arrangements and fantastic to have several great old stoves. I enjoyed the porcupine and "light" show. He must have been very surprised. I guess I never thought of them living in such snowy, cold areas. His little winter hideaway with "moat' must have been quite nice for him.
Love your explores!!! Those abandon Canadian houses really seemed to hold up better than the houses down here in the United States. And one thing I love is I don't see any vandalism. Down here as soon as a home is abandon the little brats break all the windows, steal everything including the wiring and plumbing, kick out the drywall, and spray paint (tag) the house from end to end. I hate what the little punks in the UNITED STATES do to property. Canadians seem to have much more respect and care for the environment. Good luck on your future endeavors.
Wow, I certainly wouldn't have thought of a porcupine being in a vacant home! That was certainly a unique experience I'm sure! Great video as always my friend & please keep the great explores coming! :-)
This was a great find! I just felt a good vibe as you were walking through, as if this house was beautiful and full of love once. Enjoy all your videos! Thanks for sharing as always
Great video I don't blame you for not going in the basement, unless you wanted to get spiked!! There might of been a hatch. I see there is a pair of wagon wheels. When I was young my father put them at the end of our driveway. Someone ended up stealing them.
Hi again.....I watch your videos while playing..Phantom of the Opera...Music of the Night..and it makes your videos very mysterious and of course they are very interesting...have been watching for years!!!
Very nice explore and nice items too see there, i think somebody lived there after the last ppl left the place, hence the bed in the kitchen and the upper floors empty.
I would love to see the inside of that big barn. Born and raised on a farm, have a thing for barns, hehe. Great explore. I have been watching for some time. Really like the way you film, thorough but you keep moving along at a decent pace.
Unbelievable! This house was listed for sale in late spring/early summer for, I believe, just under or just over $100, 000. My husband and I were rural house/property shopping out in that area (towards Belleville or perhaps Campbellford, memory fails as we looked at so many houses east of Toronto) and we took a look at it (we were not allowed inside without a permit) because we were passing the area and were curious (we knew we didn't have the funds it would take to restore it) but the property is just beautiful!
Another cool old house. I really liked the old window looking into the addition. Both those wood cookstoves could work again no problem!!! I had that almond brown colored fridge until quite recently for my fridge. The new one has to be fixed already. Quite some very unusual wheels in the out building, very large with very thick 1/4 inch steel rims. Maybe cannon wheels in or an old fire wagon/ water wagon. That porcupine didn't like you at all with its spikes shown to you lol. Grumpy when they wake up eh?
I felt really guilty that I woke it up from hibernation, I had to look that up to ease my guilt lol\...thankfully , the go not hibernate, but they are nocturnal...
Lol. I don't know why, but it tickles me when you show the fast forward approach to your explores! Great house, and, as always, I love the manner in which you present your explorations. Thank you for sharing.💐
the bed in the kitchen remind me of an old house that I explored once. this house I explored was at least 5000 square feet and built in the mid-eighteen hundreds and the old man that lived and died there lived in the kitchen and the only other room he used in the whole house was the small bathroom attached to the kitchen. The rest of the whole house was untouched supposably since his parents tragically died in the forties .
cool video DDO, I thought I saw a gas light on the 2ND floor wall , guess that's the electrician in me , I look at those kind of things, Canada is so beautiful, I'm going to have to get a passport one day and visit , again great video , made my day thanks
Thank you so much! Gas light? hmm I am going to have rewatch to see that...I wish I had the skill to notice little things like that , trades persons hive a wicked advantage when watching my videos ))
Poor porcupine was probably scared to death with that light shining on him. lol Great old farmhouse. Wonder what year it was built. Those doors were really old. The kitchen stove was beautiful. Would love to have one. Nice find. Loved the video!
Another great video Brother! For some reason this house reminds me of the decline of family farming in Canada. Seems like there were either no kids or the next generation wanted nothing to do with working the land...I freaking LOVED those interior "barn" like doors in each room, can't believe the porcelain doorknobs are still there. Mr. Por-q-pine has himself some nice digs. I read that if you pulled and jiggled the knobs on those old Climax stoves they would start to shake, moan and groan
I waited so long to see the animal. I read it in the comments. It sucked waiting so long. i read the comments first than watched the video. I only watched it for that reason. I love animals.
Very cool find, definitely a very interesting house. For such a small house I found it strange to see 2 staircases going up if you want to call that one a staircase. I think this farm could have been an Egg farm, that could explain the 3 refrigerators. I'm surprised those two vintage stoves were still in the house normally something like that is the first to go.
This house is hidden fro the road, I didn't even know it was there until I traveled into the property , that would explain prob why the vintage stuff is still there...egg farm....hmmmm interesting thought
Awww, poor little porcupine. Hope he knows how to get out of there. Sure is a good little shitter. Wouldn't want to mess with that prickly little fellow though. Fairly new to your channel and really enjoying it. Living in Durham Region I find the local abandoned properties especially interesting. I must admit that I feel sad wondering about what circumstances lead up to their abandonment, like what happened to the owner/family/relatives, what is happening to the properties now, why have they been left to rot, who is paying the property taxes? You have to wonder eh?
I LOVE MYSTERY AND AM A CURIOUS PERSON, SO FUN TO TRAVEL WITH YOU GUYS ON HERE! MY SPECIALTY IS THE PARANORMAL, BUT, HAVE EXPLORED VACANT CONDEMNED HOMES WHEN YOUNGER, IT'S ALL GOOD!
I think it would be awesome to have grown up there when I was a kid. What ever that animal was it was not moving lol good video & loved the old cook stove's. Thank you. PS. it would be nice to here you talk about the place.
Oh the poor little thing is scared of you.. wonder why he/she didnt bring its whole family in here.. its a big house enough for them... that house looks really steady.. i wonder why they didnt remove three fridges and stove /sofa but everything else.. where did the other furniture go? they could have sold this house.. it would have made a nice cozy home for some family.. great exploration.. i hope the new resident is happy there.. atleast a shelter from the snow
Poor living will and estate planning causes this. Even if your single you can will to a church, scouts, school or several organisations that would keep the place tidy for a free price tag.
I was looking for the 'lone resident' as the title of the video suggested i was curious to see a human inhabitant living in abandoned home but it turned out to be an animal hiding ha ha , nice video though
Do you ever research the owner of these abandoned places? I see so much salvage there that I could use in my century home reno and it is just sitting there going to waste!
Hi DaaDeeO'hs just found your channel like what i see..... this old farm homestead is so reminiscent of my home back in Utah.... it also had two staircases..... the original stairs were narrow and steep so grandad and my father built a second staircase.... lot better... but as a kid i used the old stairs as kids do..lol...... our farm was built by my folks when they arrived in Utah by wagontrain early 1800s immigrants from England came overland with Brigham Young.....OK.seeya ..... Edwin J Thompson ....Ed
This place is far from abandoned. From first scene you show a bright red wagon wheel not a drop of rust in that farm. Maybe you can trick city folks but that is an active home.
Your videos are amazing! I love to see these kind of explorations. Who was the lone resident? Was that a mole or a rat? It seemed to me that it was scared or something.
Wow! What a property. I'm in L💖VE with that Pioneer Stove (Climax) Seriously, I need to stash my money away, I'm going to save one of these old man houses and make it right again.
a hedgehog is much smaller and don't have those long spikes coming out from his back an hedgehog only has short spikes and most of them are the size of a hand or half a melon.
Thanks for posting, I enjoyed it very much.
Your descriptions are always a delight to read, this one is no different, you really captured the essence of this explore! Love the little resident too :) Great job!
+Joanne Sabourin thank you so much, I really try hard to deliver ))))
Fabulous find! The stove is beautiful. Thank you for sharing with us.
The porcupine appeared to be huddled in the corner terrified. Poor little thing. Yeah, he has lived there for a very long time. *God bless*
A long time for sure Linda! Thank you )))
I really think that you and other urban explorers are doing a great service by recording these videos. Some future historians will have a treasure trove to go through. You are recording a moment in time, buildings and contents that would never have been seen or appreciated. Thank you. Be careful though, I was worried about you on the stairs.
THOSE old stoves are awesome
+Kathy Galloway I could not agree more...Classics !
The porcupine in the basement was cute. Loved the old stove! Fantastic old place-too bad it's abandoned.
I always enjoy your videos, I'm a dual staircase person too. Interesting room arrangements and fantastic to have several great old stoves. I enjoyed the porcupine and "light" show. It is always just great looking in to the past and thank you for taking me therexxxx
+Patricia C so happy to take you along on my urbex ))
Wow, I certainly wouldn't have thought of a porcupine being in a vacant home! That was certainly a unique experience I'm sure! Great video as always my friend & please keep the great explores coming! :-)
This was a great find! I just felt a good vibe as you were walking through, as if this house was beautiful and full of love once. Enjoy all your videos! Thanks for sharing as always
My pleasure to share!!!! This was kinda an old home stead kinda place to me...
Great video I don't blame you for not going in the basement, unless you wanted to get spiked!! There might of been a hatch. I see there is a pair of wagon wheels. When I was young my father put them at the end of our driveway. Someone ended up stealing them.
love this old home great video
The downstairs was thrashed, but the upstairs not so much! Thanks for another cool video!! Happy New Year!!
I know, weird huh...Thanks Pati you 2 !
Hi again.....I watch your videos while playing..Phantom of the Opera...Music of the Night..and it makes your videos very mysterious and of course they are very interesting...have been watching for years!!!
Great video!! Always love watching your explores, & thanks for the descriptions.
Happy to share Tamara!!
Very nice explore and nice items too see there, i think somebody lived there after the last ppl left the place, hence the bed in the kitchen and the upper floors empty.
Thanks Rolf!! You could be very right...downs stairs bed for quick exit maybe...
I kept thinking of the Waltons the TV show. Must of been the wood burning stove!!
Awesome video. I waited on pins and needles to find out what the resident was. Lol That must have been a warm spot and he wasn't going to give it up.
I would love to see the inside of that big barn. Born and raised on a farm, have a thing for barns, hehe. Great explore. I have been watching for some time. Really like the way you film, thorough but you keep moving along at a decent pace.
Thank you ))) That barn had no access, I mention in the description..I did try, just had to edit it out ..thank you for the kind comment ))
omg. can't wait to watch this! love your videos Daadeeoh!
Best 1st comment I could get!
NIce find . Amazing to see the old stove and those old wagon wheels .
I know, taking things is against my code, but I can't deny I was wondering how I could get that out of there...lol
Unbelievable! This house was listed for sale in late spring/early summer for, I believe, just under or just over $100, 000. Amazing little home, id love to have lived there, but that staircase ha ha ha not for a drunken night :O great find, loved it
+Anna Donaldson thanks so much Anna !!! Glad you enjoyed !
Another great one, daadeeoh! Glad you didn't get "stuck" in this house! Ooohhhhh, bad one!!😜. Love your vids!!
Another cool old house. I really liked the old window looking into the addition. Both those wood cookstoves could work again no problem!!! Lol. I don't know why, but it tickles me when you show the fast forward approach to your explores! Great house, and, as always, I love the manner in which you present your explorations. Thank you for sharing.💐
Love to hear that kind of feedback!!!! Thank you!!! Lots more to come!
I hope the animal was ok xx
I like the porky pine, I think ha was waiting for you to go down the stairs.

Thank you so much ! Stern fan???? "Hey NOw!" me 2!!!! big time! lol

Poor porcupine was probably scared to death with that light shining on him. lol Great old farmhouse. Wonder what year it was built. Those doors were really old. The kitchen stove was beautiful. Would love to have one. Nice find. Loved the video!
+Donna Libby this place had so many great qualities
Another great video Brother! For some reason this house reminds me of the decline of family farming in Canada. I like the family farming perspective, now that you say that, I see it ))) Thanks you my friend fr watching and your input )))
woah that house is ancient! very cool
Love the old Homesteads the best!
The natural decay of this on is priceless
Always enjoy your videos. 😀
Thanks Stacey!!!
OMG loved that stove
I know me 2 !!!
Best 2017 video so far :)
Sweet!!!!! Thanks!!!
I waited so long to see the animal. I read it in the comments. It sucked waiting so long. i read the comments first than watched the video. I only watched it for that reason. I love animals.
Good job lighting up the porcupine. This was a well built house it seems. Mostly intent in spite of the mess.
nice find, looks like it's been abandoned for ages. some nice natural decay with not much if any vandalism. 👍
Its a perfect example of nature taking over....
Watching this from gemany! Very nice video! :)
That was cool that old wood cooking stove - pretty good size
It looked heavy lolol
Awesome
I like the layout of the second floor. A little unusual with the giant hallway at the top
of the main stairs, but very interesting.
YA I thought that 2..there was a reclaim of attic space over the "kitchen"
Awesome a porcupine
+Lee Lee Baggins I know right that was amazing
the snow looks so pretty :)
+Amaya Nightshade I know! I love e snowy days )(
down in California it doesnt snow. :( i've never been to the snow before.
Its my fav time of year to explore!!
You find gooood job
pretty house
Wow! Can't get over the linoleum/Congoleum rugs upstairs. Those were from the 1920s-1930s. Still in great condition and wish they still made them.
At 1st I thought it was a Racoon. Did you have a treat for him? My kind of Explore. That was Awesome beginning to end!
Looks like winters were very hard for them. Trying to close off rooms with blankets and so on. The snow is beautiful though.
+joni griffin I check to see if they hibernate and I will come up but they don't they're just nocturnal
Does this house not have a bathroom or did I miss it?
Sally Ann I thought the same thing.
I was wondering that too
No, there was no inside washroom...my guess is there was an outhouse somewhere
A bucket always comes in handy in time of need lol
Very cool find, definitely a very interesting house.
For such a small house I found it strange to see 2 staircases going up if you want to call that one a staircase.
I think this farm could have been an Egg farm, that could explain the 3 refrigerators.

DaaDeeOh's Urban Exploration what I meant to say chicken farm, lol
looks like the Walton's house. and what's up with the bed in the kitchen they must have really loved midnight snacks!!!
lol!
Love you video's
Keep ☝ up the 👍 good work
Nice Video.
+Peter Luzifer thanks so much. I really appreciate it

+DaveLzi7 thank you so much !!
Kind of a creepy old house - Wouldn't want to live in it as a ghost -
and once again you've made a fantastic video. thanks so much your friend nikkole
Made my day!!! so happy you liked )))
Wow! Looks like it might be two wheels off a steam traction engine.
One could say, you found a.... very prickly resident..
Great country home want it!
Awww, poor little porcupine. Hope he knows how to get out of there. Sure is a good little shitter. Wouldn't want to mess with that prickly little fellow though. Oh my, thats all I wonder about, if the walls could talk!!! There are many reasons for abandonment I have found. Welcome to my channel;!!!!!
I LOVE MYSTERY AND AM A CURIOUS PERSON, SO FUN TO TRAVEL WITH YOU GUYS ON HERE! MY SPECIALTY IS THE PARANORMAL, BUT, HAVE EXPLORED VACANT CONDEMNED HOMES WHEN YOUNGER, IT'S ALL GOOD!
Mystery is one of my drives to #urbex )))
I think it would be awesome to have grown up there when I was a kid. What ever that animal was it was not moving lol good video & loved the old cook stove's. Thank you. PS. it would be nice to here you talk about the place.
I believe the porcupine was playing possum.
LMAO !
A sweep up, lick of paint, and a roaring fire, and it'd be good to live in. I wish there were places like this here in England
Greetings England!!!! Could not agree more!!
Thank you so much for your comment! I think it will just sit here and be reclaimed by nature...urban sprawl will not make it that far north
Great vid. Noticed there was no bathroom. What was it, a porcupine?
That place felt very sad to me. Awesome house though.
I had mixed feeling from downstairs to up...sad down, welcoming up...odd...
You really need to take someone with you. I love your videos but it's dangerous out there !
why people left their houses?I always try to imagine what happens.
Love your videos daadeeoh thanks for another one!
Franscine, always appreciate your comments and support! You are tops!
+Yash Dhruv not hiding...The amount of poop around suggest s that that guy has lived there for years !! Lololol it was everywhere!
DaaDeeOh's Urban Exploration amazing amount of poop.
you are really brave for sticking your head up in the attic....that's where all the monsters live you know
Do you ever research the owner of these abandoned places? I see so much salvage there that I could use in my century home reno and it is just sitting there going to waste!
Sometimes I do, I don't have the time sadly on most...I do get viewers who provide good content from time to time on history of some places.
wow! nice old house, and nice stove! :)
no bathroom?
nice explore ... dunno if I'd have touched that paper though lol
I had Purell lol
What a great video to start off the New Year! Still have it! Like wine you get better with age :)
OMG *blush*
Meant it a good way :)
Do you ever get scared going to these houses alone
+awesomechick648 front time to time I do...But not often
Hope you Americans appreciate all the space you have over here in uk that plot would be 6 apt blocks by now. We're like battery hens over here
Hi DaaDeeO'hs just found your channel like what i see..... this old farm homestead is so reminiscent of my home back in Utah.... it also had two staircases..... the original stairs were narrow and steep so grandad and my father built a second staircase.... lot better... but as a kid i used the old stairs as kids do..lol...... our farm was built by my folks when they arrived in Utah by wagontrain early 1800s immigrants from England came overland with Brigham Young.....OK.seeya ..... Edwin J Thompson ....Ed
Hey Edwin, thanks for the comment and insight into your experience ))
This place is far from abandoned. From first scene you show a bright red wagon wheel not a drop of rust in that farm. Maybe you can trick city folks but that is an active home.
Your videos are amazing! I love to see these kind of explorations. Who was the lone resident? Was that a mole or a rat? It seemed to me that it was scared or something.
It was a porcupine.. thank you so much for the kind words )))
Wow! What a property. I'm in L💖VE with that Pioneer Stove (Climax) Seriously, I need to stash my money away, I'm going to save one of these old man houses and make it right again.
I have to be honest, I checked the weight to see if I could save....really bloody heavy
***** No doubt! Keep up the good work, I enjoy your videos and explorations. 👍
No shitter in the house?
Derek Joon that is pretty darn rustic.
I wondered the same..prob an out house somewhere I suppose
Why no new videos??
Hey was that a porcupine
where is the lone resident, i did not see one
Rahila Bashir Near the end in the basement stairs
Was that a porcupine or a hedgehog?
+OmegaWolf747 it was a porcupine ))
a hedgehog is much smaller and don't have those long spikes coming out from his back an hedgehog only has short spikes and most of them are the size of a hand or half a melon.
Wow, talk about a secluded house,Holy Dawgshit !!
Should open stove doors never refrigerator doors. You could find some cool pans...instead of a blast of disgusting.
Nice video
+Tyesha Thomas thank you!
Porcupines are so cute but dogs just hate em.
ok, I give up what kind of animal was it?
It was a porcupine )))
Oh, ok..thanks for getting back to me
