Beautiful old cabin! I don't understand how property is left to ruin; heartbreaking! Someone built this cabin with love...it should be refurbished and brought back to its original glory; brought back to life! What a gem!
This was probably a very nice place BITD !!!The block work is well done and the logs and cabin build are excellent !!! Bet the owners really loved it !!!
Wow! I personally would fix it up and live in it! What an awesome place, so so sad to see it the way it now. I bet it was beautiful when it was lived in.
There is a beautiful old stone house..shell...it looked like it had a fire, it's on a huge property with a shed/barn in the back...I it's in Oro-Medonte. It would be interesting to get the story behind it. The stone work on it is amazing.
....really good videography and lighting....I bet there's a bunch of hidden treasure in there(in terms of old bottles and so forth)....not to mention the engine blocks and car parts...
I find so many things that you do likable; for example:I like that you don't commentate. I like that you don't shake the camera or run. You sweep slowly so I can look around. I like that you open the refrigerator door and oven door. But I want you to close them back up after you look in there, please. I am not OCD, I just want you to leave the place the same as when you arrive. It keeps the animals out of there and leaves the time capsule undisturbed. Thank you for your bravery and the time you spend video taping these wonderful places. It is fun to go on these journeys with you.
oh I'd take this cabin in a heartbeat!!!! charming!!!! needs rechinked, the yard cleaned and cleared! if the cabin wasn't sturdy enough, I'd do what I could to reuse as many logs as possible!!! re use as many of the cinder blockes for the foundation, reuse the stone for the fireplace, nice windows and doors and a tin roof. rebuild on exact floorplan with an 8ndoor bathroom! shoot I'd be tickled to death to own my own log home!!! it's ALWAYS been my dream home!!!! so very much potential 💖💖💖💖. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE IT!!!! 😆
Wow! That was really creepy! every 4 minutes i could imagine some crazy man coming from the woods and attacking the camera dude. Ahhhh the cabin is so pretty btw it would be such a pleasure to restore it.
When you walk up to the green truck at 4:43, there are two spirits standing by the back left corner of the truck. Right beside you. Quite a few more throughout the video. Bet this was a nice place at one time. Thanks for posting.
Thank you for your awesome videos! I'm planning to go explore an abandoned school with a friend soon so watching these really gets me pumped for it! PS. you're so brave to be doing these by yourself, I'd be way to scared to go it alone xD
Cool cabin and pretty location. It is nice to see the difference in cabin styles between this and the ones I grew up with in Texas. Here settlers wanted to keep cool so they had long bisecting hallways. There, (and I realize this may be a winter hunting cabin) no hall, because they wanted to stay warm. So interesting video.
Wow! I bet that was a beautiful home when built. I love log homes. Lived in 1 for 6 years. There are lots of them in them in the mts of n.c. old and new.
Fantastic and well covered exploration! It's true that the inside of that log cabin wasn't half bad. Actually a nice hangout spot if it could be cleared out inside. Great video as always.
Have been taking a glance at your travels, pretty great stuff. '63-'64 Rambler Classic 330's sitting there and I was amazed seeing that two-door sitting there. That is rare to see, with V-8's. Sad to see all of the places you show are abandoned. Keep up with your stuff!
I guess this would be easy to transform and remodel it's designs. After cleaning up the messy things and renovating this abandoned log cabin, will surely create a beautiful craft.
This place was super awesome at one time. The logs are beautiful and very well done.I just cant imagine being in Canada with no insulation whatsover. Not only Brrrr but Oh Shit BRRRRR!!
A GMC C/K & a couple of Rambler Classics, plus that kitchen. It's a time capsule for the 60s. The exterior of the houses are so pristine that they almost look like artificial museum sets. Must be the shellac.
LOL! You're right about the corny scary music. I prefer the silence and let the place present itself as it is rather than trying for force some spooky attitude.
Great video That place would be so cool if it could become a Deer Camp again! You and some of your buds should look into that property! Jason P, I think the GMC is a '70. I had one years ago that was almost the same color. The body looks in good shape, but I wonder about the floor. The white car, got no idea. Could be some European make. The copper colored car is a 1963 Rambler Classic, with a 287ci V8 and probably a Chrysler Torque-flyte trans. Not a hemi, though the heads look like it. I grew up in Kenosha, WI, down the street from the AMC plant. Not a day went by, even Sundays, when you didn't see Ramblers of all sizes everywhere. :)
I really enjoyed your video, i subscribed, i have'nt seen any of yours b4. I like that u dont add any corney scarey music, i love these old places & really get tired of every1 saying their haunted. Y do they say their haunted just becouse their not lived n & have been abused by most that find them. This was some1's home, i really enjoyd the tour
I actually found an abandoned cabin on a bike trail a few weeks ago. The roof was completely caved in, and there was a tool shed right next to it with tools still remaining. There was also an extremely narrow bridge that went over a stream.
I see a lot of potential in this place. I would love to be able to buy it and fix it up. The logs are in great shape and the foundations looked pretty good. Just all the cosmetic features would have to be replaced and a lot of debris to be cleaned up and hauled away to the dump.
Although finding old cars would probably be the most interesting thing to find, I don't think I could ever say it would be my favorite thing to find. It's sad to see those cars just sitting there turning to a pile of rust and fabric. With a bit of money and lots of time those could be such beautiful cars. Every head would turn when you drive down the street in one of them babies. The Rambler Classics are the sweetest station wagons ever. Would love to drive one
The cabins are very well made, foundations look okay, pity the local kids have trashed the place. Lots of stuff everywhere. Place is worth saving. Place needs to be gutted out. Some cool stuff laying about. A good joiner would get this place looking good again. New windows and get the grass cut back. Those cars have been given 12 rounds by the local kids who like destroying anything cos it looks old.
some friends and I found something like this in oregon. old cars in a dilapidated garage, home with all belongings still inside, well still pumped water. looked allot like this but we found it probably 15 years ago
i wish i lived by u, i would go with u.. i have been fascinated by abandoned houses and buildings since i was little, back then i was able to get people to go in with me, no one wants to any more :( and i still love doing it! i love wondering what happened to the owners, so many possibilities! reading old notes/papers seeing pics left behind.. keep up the good work, u have a subscriber for life here :)
I used to live up the street from that place. The owner was an old Polish man named Paul and I used to help him out after he fell off that roof and hurt his neck while repairing the chimney. He lived in TO and spent the weekends in the cabin. I hunted deer there in the fall and fished in the creek all summer! I can"t believe the state it is in now, sad. The last time I was there was in 2001 and the place was in great useable condition, the grass was cut, and you could drive over the bridge.
This abandoned log cabin is nice to be renovated because the place itself is very fantastic and beautiful. This property might be neglected but if I am the owner, I would rather repair it again.
wow, what a house... amazing!. those tyres on thos cars look dam cool 2. shame the whole lot is un-useable. wonder if the house could be sorted as it seems sound
It could still be refurbished and repaired. It's a great old cabin and property. I think one of those small buildings was a sleep house for extra guests.
Nice area.Reminds me of Maine...but if I could only get rid of this damn ringing in my ears !! I used to love the quiet of nature. Worked on Cars for 35 years !...LOUD environment to spend 50 hour a week in. oh well.lol ...
I bet the people who built it didn’t do all that damage to it. It was probably squatters or someone who was living for free. I can’t see building something so beautiful and leaving it like that. Look at the craftsmanship
I don't know if anyone else has pointed this out but those two cars were Ramblers! The brown one was a 1964 or so Rambler American, I believe. I'm not sure of the exact model of the other one, though.
***** The pickup was a GMC and It looked like it was 4x4, which is rare in Maryland area. The grill, fenders, rears are worth money I bet. But it would be cool to clean it up and let it sit in the yard like a old plow
Odd thought that jumped out to me: why was the chair at the fire pit facing the cabin instead of out to the wood or down the road etc? Why look to the cabin instead of the 'view'? Thinking about what was there- what could be...?
Beautiful old cabin! I don't understand how property is left to ruin; heartbreaking! Someone built this cabin with love...it should be refurbished and brought back to its original glory; brought back to life! What a gem!
A G R E E D 1 1 0 % !
youre an amazing person for creating these videos and taking the time to explore these places like most of us cant
Need better light
Sad, all that work, all that building, all that effort and sweat. It must have been someones dream home once
Love your videos. It is amazing what people leave behind. So much can be given away or sold before it rots and is worth nothing.
+starrynightk Thank you! You are exactly way I post them ))

Looks like it was a pretty cozy joint at one point; that's a damn shame. Thanks for the tour!
This place is heaven to me. I would love living there. I don't want anyone living really close to me. Love the house and video.
+darlene bailey I loved this place as well..A little slice of peace..Please come back, I have lots more to offer and please share with a friend!
Thank you and I just subscribed.
+darlene bailey Same with me.
+laswan s. I did too about 1 hour ago.
a beautiful cabin, just a little and is functional
aww looks like it was a cute little cabin at one time..
I love log cabins, and the land looks huge, its so sad the way its left now. Thanks for another great explore!

Tsukimogori I could not agree more )))
awesome as always! thanks for filming seeing the old vehicle all ripped apart was sad :(
When you walk up to the green truck at 4:43, there are two spirits standing by the back left corner of the truck. Right beside you. Quite a few more throughout the video. Bet this was a nice place at one time. Thanks for posting.
you can tell it was well build,I hope someone would buy it and restore it before it gets burnt down, thanks for sharing buddy

A gold mine of antiques.

The body on that old GMC truck (68-72) looks surprisingly straight for being left to rot. Someone needs to pull that out and restore it.
Someone could surely buy it and fix it up. Looks like a fantastic location!!!!! Great video!!!
looks like a cabin fever type scene ha. Cool find and great video
Thankyou for sharing your visit.

Streotype to us Canadians eh?
No, i used to live there for 3 years and froze my ass off lol. Colorado is bad enough for me. I do have to say though, Canada is a beautiful place.
Awesome find, I'm guessing by the yr, make of the cars, 70s ? Abandoned for a long time, yes vandals what a shame ! Thanks Daadeeoh, great job ..
Thanks Gina !
Beautiful log structure...whoever designed this log house was genius.....too bad it cant be restored....such waste............................
such an awful shame to see this, trash and rubbish everywhere..!!such a pretty place too..thanks for showing us..
I loved them old cars in the back!
You are a brave man that place looks mad creepy
A GMC C/K & a couple of Rambler Classics, plus that kitchen. It's a time capsule for the 60s.

Ignatz T. Mouse The two sedans were AMC Ambassadors circa early to mid 60s. Top of line for American Motors in their day (except for Avanti)

Cool videos! Be sure to stay safe and watch out for snakes :)
so sad, to see where people have randomly gone in and had their way with what was someones home.
Looked like a nice place at one time. To bad people have to wreck stuff like that. Great job Dude keep up the good work.

looks like a property real estate ppl would describe as a "fixer upper" or"handy man special" glad you didn't fall and injure yourself.
Sad, looks like became dumping ground.. The vehicles were so junked, could not even recognized them .. Great work..
Awesome!

He got some balls man that place looks very spooky image after dark 😮😨😱
A good cleaning out and some windows cause it actually looks pretty sturdy.
Man, that is a great place. I live in toronto, and have been looking for a cottage like that and its sad that someone trashed the place.
some friends and I found something like this in oregon. old cars in a dilapidated garage, home with all belongings still inside, well still pumped water. looked allot like this but we found it probably 15 years ago

is the place for sale looks like a great spot for a cabin
This abandoned log cabin is nice to be renovated because the place itself is very fantastic and beautiful. This property might be neglected but if I am the owner, I would rather repair it again.
that place is awesome love it
A house in the woods. It's a beautiful property.
wow, what a house... amazing!. those tyres on thos cars look dam cool 2. shame the whole lot is un-useable. wonder if the house could be sorted as it seems sound
Thanks for update Damian. I would love to live there with my cats and feed the squirrels and birds.
Awesome tour!
Thank you Marsha!
ohhh I want it - please daddy lol - nice video - sad to see it all junked up
It could still be refurbished and repaired. It's a great old cabin and property. I think one of those small buildings was a sleep house for extra guests.
great find!
So beautiful there, wish I could fix it up!
The place looked like a crap hole until you went inside. Then I saw the great potential. It could be fixed up again and be a perfect weekend retreat.
Nice find that place
Lots of good parts left on those cars.
beautiful fixer upper. :)
Excellent video .Place must be 80 years old .
Nice area.Reminds me of Maine...but if I could only get rid of this damn ringing in my ears !! I used to love the quiet of nature. Worked on Cars for 35 years !...LOUD environment to spend 50 hour a week in. oh well.lol ...
Too bad that cabin was let go. It has great potential and a great plot of land too. Just a clean up job and upgrade the appliances
I bet the people who built it didn’t do all that damage to it. It was probably squatters or someone who was living for free. I can’t see building something so beautiful and leaving it like that. Look at the craftsmanship
Thats a nice gmc pickup, does anyone know the make/Model ?
whats with the beaten up cars (i know there old but why beaten up?)
"Wow,So Much left behind,I would love to know what happened,I bet this place was so Beautiful at one time,Spooky and strange!!!"
I don't know if anyone else has pointed this out but those two cars were Ramblers! The brown one was a 1964 or so Rambler American, I believe. I'm not sure of the exact model of the other one, though.
Thanks for the insight into the cars! Always like added information
***** The pickup was a GMC and It looked like it was 4x4, which is rare in Maryland area. The grill, fenders, rears are worth money I bet. But it would be cool to clean it up and let it sit in the yard like a old plow
David Knight '63-'64 Rambler Classic 330(both) w/Ford style 260 and C-4 auto. The two-door is rare,Rambler made more 4-doors and wagons.
Beautiful
That's a nice cabin! Clear out the junk and make repairs and it would be a nice place to live in.
Check the basement. Always check the basement first.
there is no basement in a cabin.
Those peeps are looooong gone. Very cool vid as always, but this place didn't seem all that creepy to me - how'd it feel while you were there?
I,d move in just as it is
That 69 gmc got me feelin some kind of way... so sad it was probably running when parked
As long as they're not infested with termites or anything, logs can be reused. I bet there are plenty of good, usable logs among those ruins!
How do I get to this place? I'd love to check it out myself; I used to work for a couple of museums so the history of it would be interesting.
That's a good way to catch "Hep C" Glad you wore gloves....
Tetanus, but not Hep C. Hep C comes from another infected persons blood coming in contact with yours.
(btw why do most of them have the hoods open?)
Odd thought that jumped out to me: why was the chair at the fire pit facing the cabin instead of out to the wood or down the road etc? Why look to the cabin instead of the 'view'? Thinking about what was there- what could be...?
I want some of that fern growing by the outhouse .
I would like to know what folded the hood back on that white car? That right there was no easy task! That took extreme force!
Were you aloud to be there? And whats in the safe at 8:42?
People actually had skills with their hands. Pride ... back in the day ! Building anything now everything is disposable and crap
What's the history regarding this cabin. They clearly liked biking.
That would be awesome to have a cabin like that. Purposely to get away from EVERYTHING.
where is this cabin exsactly i live in peterbrough wich is close to where you sed it is i want to go there mabie fix it up so ya haw do i get to it???
This must have been a beautiful place at one time. Now it is left to rot and a dumping ground how very sad.
Honestly if I found an abandoned cabin I would refurbish it and stuff
Same
Couldn't help feeling you were going to turn around and a Jason type guy would be behind you in full regalia ...that was creepy !!!
