But they ought to respect freedom of speech as a matter of academic freedom. But if they are going to have speech codes, you MUST be consistent. You can’t protect some groups but not other groups. They all were very vocal that Black Lives Matter, but when students on campus are actively harassing Jewish students, they were silent. You either stand for freedom of speech or be consistent with your policies
