This is how a review should be, backed up by plenty of images and several years of experience on the field. Way too many first impressions going around on the internet, while this is the right way.
Boy, was this timely for me. I've been shooting with Fuji for several years now, but have been toying with the idea of changing to full frame (better autofocus with Sony, mainly. I do a lot of street photography). There's so many more options now than there were when I switched from Canon aps-c to Fuji. But I made the switch mostly because weight was a factor for me and it still is. The Sony A7IV body may not be much heavier, but the lenses are. And when I look at your stunning images, I recognize that any deficiencies with my images are because of me, not the camera system I'm using.
These are not simple choices to make indeed. Street photography is of course much more dependent on great autofocus with moving subjects and the perfect scene only lasts a fraction of a second. I can also imagine that the potential for greater depth of field is a plus when moving to full frame in that situation. If you would stick with f/4 lenses on FF to get the same out of focus as on f/2.8 on APS-C the weight and size are also similar or smaller (12-24 f4 is 240g lighter and 24-70 f4 is 229 g lighter than their Fuji 2.8 equivalent lenses). But personally I would not move to FF when you already have all the lenses for Fuji (and you are happy with those of course) as there is quite a cost involved. Maybe the AF currently isn't perfect, but wait a few years and they will be on par with the A74 now.
Thanks for the comment, really glad you enjoyed the video. I know what you mean about needing razor fast AF, when I was shooting weddings it was absolutely vital and the Nikon D3 was amazing in that respect. With the Fuji I simply haven't shot in the same circumstances so I have no comparison to draw it against, but in little bits of testing I've done for some reviews I've noticed that it struggles with fast moving objects. "Struggles" might not be a correct word, it's just that in a burst of shots it will miss focus in a couple of them, but I'm comparing a mirrorless AF with my old dSLR AF, and they work in different ways. I honestly don't know if other mirrorless systems are better.
@@AndyMumford As with many styles of photography, wedding photography is executed very differently person to person. Having shot weddings for 13yrs and having had Nikon D3, etc and currently shooting only Fuji (have for 5yrs now) ... the XT2 and up system (for me) + battery grip have matched my Nikon D3 setup in performance (exceeded it in video) with the only exception, autofocus accuracy in really dark scenes (for me that is the middle of the dance floor when it's very dark). I have found my XT4 has done much much better in that one scenario where my XT2 suffers. I have not missed my heavy full frame gear one bit while doing many weddings the past 5 years.
Nobody would care about, with which gear a good picture was being taken, literally. It's all about your creative craft & vision, your own style. Gear is just a tool, to get the job done. But the camera industry lures you into FF only, because it's only "good enough", and not the smaller APS-C Sensor, which isn't true. Especially not with X-Trans. Analog to this, you'd never say to the cook of a fine restaurant - the meal was soo delicious, because he used pots for cooking from brand x...you get the point. :)

You’re one of few photographer who truly shows that it’s not the kit or gears alone that makes the stunning photos. It’s all about how dedicated you are as a photographer! With that skills and mindsets I wouldn’t be surprised if you can make a photos worth of thousand bucks using just a cellphone cameras.
When I see the pictures you have shared, my question wouldn't be ''what camera and lens combo did he use!?'', it's actually ''how far has he hiked and how long has he waited for that image?'' and that speaks volume in my opinion.
Haha, thanks so much. Some of these images are at the end of long hikes, others right next to the road. But yeah, there’s usually a lot of waiting around
I remember watching a video of yours back in the autumn of 2017, at the time I had a full-frame Canon kit (5DSR) and it was the weight of my kit that made me rethink what kind of kit I actually needed. I got the X-T2 + 2 lenses, and the weight difference was so noticeable, I took it with me on a trip to Iceland and the images I got were wonderful including walking under a waterfall. I have back trouble so having a light kit that I can take hiking is great. What I really like about the Fuji system is that you get pro level features (weather sealing, dual UHS II card slots, 4K video) and regular firmware updates, the colour science and no anti-aliasing filter give you such rich sharp images. I love using vintage lenses on my X-T4, the whole user experience is just such a joy, every time I go for a walk with my camera I come back with a big smile on my face. On a lot of the photography channels here on UA-cam Fuji is either overlooked or disparaged as not being “Professional” which is in my opinion is snobbery. APS-C cameras & sensors have come a long way in the last 10 years, and I think the whole adage that full-frame is the best and everything else is rubbish just doesn’t hold water anymore. Fuji make the best APS-C mirrorless cameras out there with many features you won’t find on any other APS-C mirrorless cameras, the reason for this I think is that they don’t make full-frame cameras, so they are not trying to push people to buy them with the better features that are missing from the APS-C line up because they have them in their APS-C cameras already (unlike Nikon & Sony - 1 card slot & no weather sealing). I think a lot of the channels on UA-cam are quite irresponsible in pushing the most highly spec’d and expensive camera kit when most people who watch photography videos on UA-cam don’t need the most expensive spec’d out kit. When I consider new kit, I always ask myself what I will be using it for and is there a cheaper alternative that will meet those needs. Don’t fall for all the “hype” on UA-cam and buy what best meets your needs rather than what you think other people think you should buy.
Thanks for the comment, really glad you enjoyed the video. I do think that to a certain extent specs are an easy thing for reviews to latch onto as they're quantifiable and easily comparable.
I prefer a APS-C Topmodel, vs. a cheapskate entry Level FF Setup. A camera is so much more, than just Sensor size. And no offense - think about a EOS RP, which is clearly inferior. Mediocre WR, if any, no IBIS, cheap 2.36 MP EVF, one SD Card Slot, otherwise in all things the Z5 Nikon is much better, and price difference is a cheap 100 bucks new, at least in germany. Anyway, i am a control freak, and i do like as much direct access dials & buttons, i could have...instead of playing menu dive anytime, for feature xy, which eats up my nerves. If i'd being one of the Fujifilm bosses, i'd order them to produce a niche inside a niche camera - a Fujifilm X-Pro and X-E Series without LCD on the backside, and also with a monochrom Sensor only. Just like Leica with their M-D, M10-D, or M60. But APS-C, and being buyable for us, ordinary people. I prefer simplicity. For the same reasons, i would someday upgrade to the X100V, but boy...the original X100 still does render such creamy tones, and i love it. I can smile about all these more MP, faster AF, and always owning the latest & greatest GearHeads and Techfreaks..it's all about G.A.S. only - gear aquisation syndrome. If someone can't create a decent picture with say a D40, it doesn't work with any gear. Into the end of the day - better gear can enhance your image quality, but doesn't turn you into a better photographer. That comes over the years, decades and with experience...and is not correlating to any specific gear. Andy here, creates some extraordinary fine landscape pictures, i do really love to look at.
I remember being rubbished on line when I said my X-Pro1 was on par with FF DSLR’s IQ. Then the X-T1 came along and respected FF Canon shooters started ditching their 5D3’s for them. A mass exodus followed when the X-T2 was released with its superior AF performance, Fuji now need to re-ignite the faithful with their next generation cameras................
Im a full time wedding photographer slinging 2x X-T5's and a GFX 50SII (with a minolta lens) and the flash system I use is Godox. If you get all technical yeah you will always find problems wherever you go. However, I have only had happy clients and images that I personally enjoy from that combination. I do not think flash systems are a problem on Fuji X systems and GFX systems ^^ thank you for the video Andy!
Andy, your photos are too good! When watching this video, I found myself losing the plot several times by simply getting swallowed by your stunning imagery. :) Keep up the good work!
I'm watching this video at 1am in the dark with the brightness turned low. I turned the brightness up to view the images clearer and blew my f**kng mind. Andy Mumford, Sir, you are one of the Greats.
Wow! There are camera youtubers, and then there's you! Such a breath of fresh air to see a real professional on UA-cam. Your photos are absolutely breathtaking. Even your wedding photography photos shows how much of a better photographer you are than most. Amazing portfolio, well done, and great video content!
After watching Andy’s previous videos about switching from DSLRs to Fuji X series, I sold my Nikon D850 and FF lenses and bought an XT3 and set of lenses. The D850 was an amazing camera, but I find the XT3 more intuitive to use and my kit is so much lighter. Basically everything Andy said was spot on, I’ve not looked back. Thank you for such excellent advice.
Took me like 40 minutes watching the video because I kept pausing and going back to watch the beautiful pictures. Great presentation and editing. Thanks for sharing. In a world where most cameras past a certain point are great already, it's the size and weight that's at a premium.
Hi Andy. I think you hit the nail on the head with everything you said in this video. I came from a Canon background, specifically the 5DS-R, which was an awesome camera, especially when printing large. However, after hiking through the Mesquite Flats Dunes for about 4 hours I decided to go with the Fuji X series camera bodies, which have really been a blessing in disguise. Sure, it took me a while to learn my X-S10 and X-T3, but now I am comfortable with them both and love to go out shooting video and stills again. Out of all the You Tube photographers, I feel I respect you the most because you are a genuine individual not pushing anything on anyone. I also love your images, and feel they are outstanding when comparing them to other photographers online. Maybe one day I will join you on a guided tour! Take care, and all the best in 2024. Keep up the excellent work as well! Cheers from British Columbia, Canada.
We’re surrounded by advertising exhorting us not to accept compromise, but the reality is that life is all about trade offs. Provided the camera system I can reasonably afford is capable of taking (way) better shots than I am, I’m happy with that system (but less happy with my own limitations). Loving the landscape shots, keep up the great work, a real wellbeing window on the world during the COVID restrictions 😊
As someone who’s in the process of selling my entire full frame canon kit to go all-in on Fuji, I thank you heartily for this video! I was having a wobble - had to silence the voice in my head telling me that going from full frame to APSC was a downgrade!
First you said something that you basically got straight out of my mind; The camera must be an extension of your mind and body. Then you proceeded to show some of your stunning landscape pictures and it hit me… I finally found the right channel. Absolutely perfect content.
I am late to the party watching Andy's videos. Good thing UA-cam keeps videos around for a long time. I've got a lot to watch. I'm really inspired by these photos. I just got a 10-24 lens and notice that a lot of these photos use that lens. I hope I can get something a quarter of the way close to these photos.
After switching to Fuji and only 2 months using my X-T4 I'm already really glad that I did. It's an incredible camera for both photo and video for all genres. The only thing I was skeptical about before joining the Fujifilm system was people talking about the autofocus not being great. However, I've found the X-T4 to be more than good enough for my needs, including sports/action/wildlife. Thanks for your videos Andy. It really was a big part in helping me decide to join the system and the tactile feel of the camera as well as the stunning image quality and overall performance will almost certainly give me a lot of pleasure for many years to come.
I can’t believe how incredibly talented you are! I’ve never known of your work before but I’m totally blown away. Thank you for the video too, I went to Fuji earlier this year and was thinking lately if I’d made the right choice, your video has made feel better
Thank you for posting this follow up video. Hearing about your impressions of the Fuji X-system after six years of real-world experience is really valuable. It is great to see all of the amazing images you have created since then. Your work is inspiring.
Hard to express how inspiring you are to me. I'm two years in with Fujifilm and absolutely love my xt3 and accompanying lenses. Just started shooting with the excellent xf 100-400 mm. As a lover of bird and wildlife photography, this lens and my xf 50-140mm have reached in and stirred my soul. Watching your videos, vicariously traveling along with you to some of the most exotic and amazing locales on earth, always makes me want to dig a little deeper into my own sense of creativity and produce more works I can be proud of. Thank you, Andy for choosing to share your love of creative imagery with all of us. One day maybe I'll get to go on one of those adventures with you! Peace- Kelly
Very objective and accurate account of the advantages and disadvantages of the Fuji system. I have the xt3 and the 14mm and 33mm lenses and am generally very satisfied with the quality of the jpegs. Your photos are extraordinarily beautiful and are a testament of what can be achieved with Fuji. Thanks
Excellent summation. I have both Fuji X series and Sony FF gear. A couple of years ago I did a few weeks around Hong Kong and Japan. I started using the Sony for everything and my kids were using the Fuji. After about a week I was leaving the Sony at the hotel and shooting the Fuji exclusively. The key issue was weight. Its just so much easier to travel with and when they're all stuffed into Capture One you'd be hard pressed to tell which camera was used. I still prefer FF because my brain is programmed to FF. I've been a photographer since 1979 so whenever I use the Fuji I have to do a little mental conversion of the focal lengths, but the quality isn't an issue. The truest statement is everyone makes great cameras - they're all more than capable of delivering fine work. BTW, some lovely work there, very, very nice.
Stunning work. I am on the verge of switching from Nikon to Fuji.. Have owned Nikon DSLRs for many years and a Fuji X100F for street for about three. Thanks!
Andy, your landscapes and indeed all your photos are just drop dead gorgeous! I would say the best I have ever seen in my 50 years of photography. I've switched from Nikon to Fuji in 2012 and currently have H2, H2S and X100V bodies and shoot around 50% in video. Thanks for this video. :)
Great video. The only addition from me (as a person who moved from Olympus OM-D to Fuji) is the Fujii's commitment to updates - they have a fantastic history of bringing new firmware updates to older hardware. This is a sign of a company that loves photgraphy, and understands that the value of a photography community.
Thanks for for comment. I forgot to mention that about the firmware updates, but it’s true, Fuji don’t really seem concerned about pushing newer cameras at the expense of their old ones.
I had fallen in love with the Fuji at first, but going through review after review I had discarded it to buy something with better performance and a full-frame sensor. I needed your video to realize that technical data is not so relevant when it comes to photography. Photography should make you feel emotions, and I believe no camera can do that more than a Fuji.
It’s true. If we follow the logic that you need the latest high resolution counts and dynamic range, then any image taken more than 5 years ago must be comparatively poor. Which just is not true.
Andy, this is one if not the best review of a brand and its products that I have seen on UA-cam ...your honesty comes to the the top of the pile ... and its plain to see that you have a style that not only suits your work but also actually suits the system you are using.... as in the colours etc that you are getting straight from the camera.... not all of the pics you show are being tweaked to within a mm of its life I am sure... having seen many shots from various other fuji users.... I just wanted to thank you for your honesty, your help and also putting the info on each shot of camera and lens really does help...so thanks... Yoki..
Not a Fuji user myself or ever intend to, but this is as usual a thoughtful video. You have a gift in articulation, as well as an incredible eye. Love your work.
owned a bunch if canon caneras and switched to sony a7r2, and tho its a great camera my x100s made shooting fun ao I bought the xt2 and switched to fuji. Now I use cr4 and xt30, there is a joy of using them
Fully agree with you from you first changing to Fuji . Your picture make me thrilled . Your recommend for landscape in vdo made me bought 10-24 and 55-200 as it fantastic for me till now. I will never replace them but may buy more Viltrox 13 f1.4 . thks for sharing 🎉
thanks to your excellent explanation I was able to sift through my two choices of Z5 and XT-4 and went for the Fuji :D I'm an archaeologist so I shoot landscapes and architecture and sometimes finds, thanks again and might see you on one of your workshops sometimes ;)
Thank you so much for your photography wisdom. I bought my first camera, a 35mm Nikon FE, in 1981, with a bonus from my first job out of college. Digital cameras have never matched the joy of using that Nikon, which I also used daily while reporting for a newspaper in the early 1990s. I have longed to experience a digital camera as an "extension of my mind" ever since, but never have. And I've had Nikon, Sony and Olympus DSLR and mirrorless systems. So thanks again for your articulate insights. I am retired now and want to resume the joy of photography. You helped me make my next purchasing decision.
For flashes, I’ve bought into the Godox system for Fujifilm. Works fantastically with the X-ProF trigger, being able to control the output of my flashes remotely and use either TTL with EV comp or full manual.
@@AndyMumford I currently have the V1 and the AD200 Pro with X-ProF trigger. I'll likely pick up another AD200 Pro and those three lights will be my travel kit for flash photography. The cost of entry is so low and all their wireless flashes work together, so there's no penalty for investing in their system. The 200w/s light work the same as their 1200w/s light (2.4Ghz Wireless).
Fujis are great. I own the X100V and love it. However, my Z cameras, the Z6II and Z7 II, matched with that excellent 1.8 S glass, are a perfect size and image quality combination for my needs.
Perfect timing for me. I'm upgrading my old xt1 and you have put so much into perspective.... Thanks for the awesome work and sharing the eay you do. Hope to actually get on one of your workshop trips in the future! 😁
@@AndyMumford Your very welcome. Everything you said in your video was spot on. I am a Sony shooter (just an enthusiast, not a professional like you). I use an A7R4 and 12-24 GM lens, love the combo, the 12-24 is a very sharp lens, but very heavy - I shoot primarily landscapes in the Mountains in California (Eastern High Sierras, Yosemite...). For those times I do backcountry hikes, have been thinking about getting a Fuji kit, maybe something like an XE-4 paired with the 10-24, your pictures have convinced me one doesn't need FF to get excellent pictures.
Excellent video Andy. A few years ago I got and XT2, 10-24 & 55-200, mimicking your kit. I figured that if they were good enough for you, then there was no need to look further. No regrets, I love this system and am delighted with the quality of my landscape photos. Occasionally when I get GAS, I re-watch your older XT2 videos and that cures the problem. Thank you for the inspiration.
Andy, it is so good to hear your photographic journey and what is important to you as a photographer. The images in the video speak volumes about your talent. The photos are superb. You are truly an inspiration. I will look forward to the Dolomites workshop. Loved this video. Thank you again, Andy.
Hi Odile, hope you're well. Thanks so much for the comment, really glad you enjoyed the video. Looking forward to catching up with you and Philip in the Dolomites too
Love you Andy. I've bought everything you use. (My wife, however, hates you because I've bought everything you use.) You scared me that you were changing systems and leaving me high and dry and sobbing. Keep up the good work. I wish you'd do a vid on processing with Luminar.
This video really puts my photo gear perspective in the right direction. I have a Nikon Z system now, and love the pictures that are coming out of it. The body is as compact as a Fujifilm, but the longer lenses are much bigger and heavier. I was trying to decide between the two systems, and this video really helped me to find the right camera for me. Thank you so much for making this video and sharing your opinions.
The images that you produce are incredible and really inspiring, your speech is extremely well builded and listening to you is hypnotic. Thank you for sharing this, amazing job!
There are too many professional photographers who use the Fuji system for it to be dismissed. Like you, I switched from FF (Nikon). I don't miss it one little bit. The only people who seem to go on about FF are some amateur photographers and pixel-peeping club judges. Worse still and I know a few, are the FF photographers who only show their work on FB & Instagram, what is the point? Unless it's a look at me, look at my Big Camera and my Big Lens! I hope the next time they have a fantastic meal in a Restaurant they ask the Chef what cooker does he use. All the best to you in 2022 and keep up your amazing work.
Thanks so much for the comment, really glad you enjoyed the video. Cameras are like most purchases, there's a strong emotional aspect, and that affects people in different ways. The full frame/high resolution thing might not have much difference in actual real world shooting, but if it makes people "feel" better in their shooting, then it's perfectly understandable. We're complex beings, and photography is a big tent with all kinds of dynamics, so I perfectly understand why people are drawn to full frame. As long as people are enjoying shooting and their camera isn't getting in their way then it's all good. All the best to you too in 2022. Lets hope for a better year than the last one

If you get all technical yeah you will always find problems wherever you go. However, I have only had happy clients and images that I personally enjoy from that combination. I do not think flash systems are a problem on Fuji X systems and GFX systems ^^ thank you for the video Andy!
Thanks so much for watching, really glad you enjoyed the video
Andy, your photos are too good! When watching this video, I found myself losing the plot several times by simply getting swallowed by your stunning imagery. :) Keep up the good work!
Thanks so much for the comment, really glad you enjoy the images
+1
I'm watching this video at 1am in the dark with the brightness turned low. I turned the brightness up to view the images clearer and blew my f**kng mind. Andy Mumford, Sir, you are one of the Greats.
Thanks so much for the comment, really glad you enjoyed the images
Wow! There are camera youtubers, and then there's you! Such a breath of fresh air to see a real professional on UA-cam. Your photos are absolutely breathtaking. Even your wedding photography photos shows how much of a better photographer you are than most. Amazing portfolio, well done, and great video content!
Thanks so much, really glad you enjoyed the video and found it useful
Your pictures are absolutely amazing. You manage to capture the heart and soul of every place you visit.
Thanks so much for the comment, glad you enjoyed the video
After watching Andy’s previous videos about switching from DSLRs to Fuji X series, I sold my Nikon D850 and FF lenses and bought an XT3 and set of lenses. The D850 was an amazing camera, but I find the XT3 more intuitive to use and my kit is so much lighter. Basically everything Andy said was spot on, I’ve not looked back. Thank you for such excellent advice.
Thanks so much fr the comment Steve, really glad it's worked out for you.
Took me like 40 minutes watching the video because I kept pausing and going back to watch the beautiful pictures. Great presentation and editing. Thanks for sharing.
In a world where most cameras past a certain point are great already, it's the size and weight that's at a premium.
Thanks so much for the comment, glad you enjoyed the video.
Incredibly great! Besides all the gears and cameras, you have a spectacular eye.
Thanks so much
Hello Andy. You are a good story teller and a fine photographer. ❤❤❤
Thanks so much, really glad you enjoy the video
You are in the 100k Club. Been following you since 10-15K. Congratulations. You and Sean Tucker are my favourite photographers on the youtube.
Thanks so much for the comment, and thanks so much for the support. Really glad you've enjoyed the videos 🙏
I haven't enjoyed a FujiFilm UA-cam for a long time. This was brilliant, thank you.
Thanks so much for the comment, glad you enjoyed the video
Thanks so much for the lovely comment. Very much appreciated, and glad to hear you're enjoying your photography with the X Series cameras
You are very welcome! Cheers!@@AndyMumford
Thanks so much James, really glad you enjoyed the video
As someone who’s in the process of selling my entire full frame canon kit to go all-in on Fuji, I thank you heartily for this video! I was having a wobble - had to silence the voice in my head telling me that going from full frame to APSC was a downgrade!
Thanks for the comment, glad you found the video useful
First you said something that you basically got straight out of my mind; The camera must be an extension of your mind and body. Then you proceeded to show some of your stunning landscape pictures and it hit me…
I finally found the right channel.
Absolutely perfect content.
Thanks so much for the comment, glad you enjoyed the video
Well said. I love my Fuji's for the same reasons. They feel great and are a joy to use. Thanks for the video..
Thanks for the comment, glad you enjoyed the video
Stunning images. A real lesson against gear hype.
Thanks so much, glad you enjoyed the video
@@AndyMumford very much so! 🙏
The level of photography in this video is mind blowing! masterful 👏👏👏
Thanks so much, glad you enjoyed the video
your photos are extremely inspiring for me i love landscape
Thanks so much, really glad you enjoyed the video
Great points and the photo examples spoke volumes. Some of the best landscape photography I've seen.
Thanks so much for the comment, glad you enjoyed the video
Your eyes sparkle when you talk about the Fuji system
Haha, no...my eyes sparkle when I talk about photography
Andy, Inever heard any of the talk...your photos just blew me away ..I am looking them again and again...A true master !
Thanks so much for the comment, really glad you enjoyed the video
What an incredible collection of breathtaking landscape images! Truly inspiring
Thanks much, really glad you enjoyed the video
really lovely how you explain it
that the camera has to get out of the way and just be kind of the bridge between you and what you want to compose
Thanks for the comment, glad the video was useful
What a stunning body of visual work! Thanks for sharing such beauty with us mortals
Thanks so much, really glad you enjoyed the work
@1:25 absolutely stunning picture...
Thanks so much 🙏
Your photo’s are awesome! I too love my fuji gear. Thank you for this video!!!
Thanks so much
I am late to the party watching Andy's videos. Good thing UA-cam keeps videos around for a long time. I've got a lot to watch. I'm really inspired by these photos. I just got a 10-24 lens and notice that a lot of these photos use that lens. I hope I can get something a quarter of the way close to these photos.
Thanks for the comment, hope you enjoy the channel
Your videos are precious pearls hidden in an ocean of nonsense perception of what photography is all about.
Thanks so much for the comment, really glad you enjoy the videos
Bang on. I'd come back from a trip in Sri Lanka tired of the weight of my Canon gear years ago, picked up an XPro 2. Never looked back.
Thanks for the comment, glad you enjoyed the video. The X Pro 2 is a wonderful camera
Thanks for the comment, glad to hear you're enjoying the cameras
Such a unique and refreshing video- thank you- I’ve shot with Nikon and then Sony forever and am considering taking the leap with Fuji- very helpful
Thanks for the comment, and good luck with whatever system you decide to go with
I can’t believe how incredibly talented you are! I’ve never known of your work before but I’m totally blown away. Thank you for the video too, I went to Fuji earlier this year and was thinking lately if I’d made the right choice, your video has made feel better
Thanks so much for the comment, I’m glad you enjoyed my work and that the video was useful
Your photos are STUNNING!
Thanks so much
Thank you so much for creating thoughtful videos vs so much of what's on UA-cam nowadays.
Thanks so much for the comment, glad you enjoyed the video
Thank you for posting this follow up video. Hearing about your impressions of the Fuji X-system after six years of real-world experience is really valuable. It is great to see all of the amazing images you have created since then. Your work is inspiring.
Thanks so much for the comment David, really glad you found the video useful
Thanks so much for the comment, really glad you enjoy the videos
Those photos are spot on btw, holy smokes
Thanks so much, glad you enjoy the images
Very objective and accurate account of the advantages and disadvantages of the Fuji system. I have the xt3 and the 14mm and 33mm lenses and am generally very satisfied with the quality of the jpegs. Your photos are extraordinarily beautiful and are a testament of what can be achieved with Fuji. Thanks
Thanks so much for the comment, really glad you found the video useful
Great review and images, makes me want to get out there. Thanks.
Thanks for the comment, glad you enjoyed the review
Absolutely agree it is not the camera holding me back but my ability.
Cameras are so good nowadays that they don't limit us in any way
Excellent summation.
That's a great comment, thanks so much. Glad you enjoyed the video
What a fabulous video! The most organic and heartfelt…!! Thank you for sharing 😘
Thanks so much, really glad you enjoyed it
Your pictures are sensational!!! Thx for this great video !!
Thanks so much for the comment
Stunning work. I am on the verge of switching from Nikon to Fuji.. Have owned Nikon DSLRs for many years and a Fuji X100F for street for about three. Thanks!
Thanks for the comment, and good luck with the switch
Andy, your landscapes and indeed all your photos are just drop dead gorgeous! I would say the best I have ever seen in my 50 years of photography. I've switched from Nikon to Fuji in 2012 and currently have H2, H2S and X100V bodies and shoot around 50% in video. Thanks for this video. :)
Thanks so much for the lovely comment, I’m really glad you enjoy my work. Good luck with your photography
Ine of the best camera/ photography videos I have ever watched. Thanks Andy
Thanks so much, really glad you found it useful
Spectacular shots. I love my Fuji.
Thans for the comment
Where. On earth. Does this man. Live?! It's completely unfair that some places can be this gorgeous!
Haha, I live in Lisbon but I travel a lot and almost all of these images were taken while I was travelling. Thanks so much
Fantastic shots !
Thanks so much, glad you enjoyed it
Great video.
Why did you move from Okympus to Fuji? From the sensor and compactness point of view the systems are not far apart.
Thanks so much for the comment Clara, I'm really glad you found the video useful. Good luck with your photography
A fantastic video, It shows that you can go out with 'old' digital cameras and get amazing photographs.
So many people miss this important fact today
Yoki..
Thanks do much for the comment Yoki, glad you enjoyed the video
Proper review. Absolutely love my xt4.
Thanks so much, glad you enjoyed it
Not a Fuji user myself or ever intend to, but this is as usual a thoughtful video. You have a gift in articulation, as well as an incredible eye. Love your work.
Thanks for the comment, glad you enjoyed the shots. Lot's of non Fuji specific workflow videos coming up this year.
As always, very insightful.
Thank you so much, really glad you enjoy the videos
Awesome! Very helpful and WOW your images are divine.
Thanks so much for the comment Jennifer, glad you enjoyed it
You are not only a great photographer but you are also one of the most honest and knowledgeable photographers. No BS.
Thanks so much for the comment, glad you enjoyed the video
Your photography is breath taking!
Thanks so much, glad you enjoyed it
owned a bunch if canon caneras and switched to sony a7r2, and tho its a great camera my x100s made shooting fun ao I bought the xt2 and switched to fuji. Now I use cr4 and xt30, there is a joy of using them

Thanks so much, really glad you enjoyed the video
Always look forward to your videos Andy!
Thanks so much, I'm hoping to put out quite a few workflow videos this year
Fully agree with you from you first changing to Fuji . Your picture make me thrilled . Your recommend for landscape in vdo made me bought 10-24 and 55-200 as it fantastic for me till now. I will never replace them but may buy more Viltrox 13 f1.4 . thks for sharing 🎉
Thanks for the comment, glad you enjoyed the video
You are great photographer!
Thankyou so much
Thank you! Amazing photos! I'll keep my X-T3.
Thanks for the comment
thanks to your excellent explanation I was able to sift through my two choices of Z5 and XT-4 and went for the Fuji :D I'm an archaeologist so I shoot landscapes and architecture and sometimes finds, thanks again and might see you on one of your workshops sometimes ;)
Thanks so much, glad you enjoyed the video. Have fun with the new camera
Thank you for this Video and very nice Pictures
Thanks for the comment, really glad you enjoyed the video
Thanks so much for the comment, I'm glad you found the video useful. All the best with your next camera
I bought the X-T30 because of you. Great camera. Thanks for the quality videos!
Thanks for the comment, really glad you enjoyed the video. The XT30 is a lovely camera
For flashes, I’ve bought into the Godox system for Fujifilm. Works fantastically with the X-ProF trigger, being able to control the output of my flashes remotely and use either TTL with EV comp or full manual.
Thanks for letting me know, I’ve heard a lot of good things about the Godox system
A very eloquently stated video, back up through the years by gorgeous images! Love your body of work!
Thanks so much for the comment, really glad you enjoyed it
Fujis are great. I own the X100V and love it. However, my Z cameras, the Z6II and Z7 II, matched with that excellent 1.8 S glass, are a perfect size and image quality combination for my needs.
Excellent. When you've found a set up that works for you, everything else follows.
Perfect timing for me. I'm upgrading my old xt1 and you have put so much into perspective.... Thanks for the awesome work and sharing the eay you do. Hope to actually get on one of your workshop trips in the future! 😁
Thanks so much for the comment, really glad you enjoyed the video and found it useful. Enjoy the new camera
Your work is sublime. Very informative, and useful for any decision making
Thanks so much, really glad you enjoyed the video
Thank you for doing this video. Your photos are simply beautiful!
Thanks so much Steve, glad you enjoyed the video
Great video sir. Thank you so much.
Thanks for the comment, glad it was useful
Excellent video Andy. A few years ago I got and XT2, 10-24 & 55-200, mimicking your kit. I figured that if they were good enough for you, then there was no need to look further. No regrets, I love this system and am delighted with the quality of my landscape photos. Occasionally when I get GAS, I re-watch your older XT2 videos and that cures the problem. Thank you for the inspiration.
Thanks so much for the comment, glad you videos are useful with you GAS 😉
Stunning portfolio & selection of images shared in this video Andy - thanks for sharing
Thanks so much, glad you enjoyed it
Phenomenal review. I wish all camera reviews were as good as yours.
Thanks for the comment, glad you enjoyed the video
Andy, it is so good to hear your photographic journey and what is important to you as a photographer. The images in the video speak volumes about your talent. The photos are superb. You are truly an inspiration. I will look forward to the Dolomites workshop. Loved this video. Thank you again, Andy.
Hi Odile, hope you're well. Thanks so much for the comment, really glad you enjoyed the video.
Looking forward to catching up with you and Philip in the Dolomites too
Very honest video, with simply brilliant work. Greetings from Lisbon
Thanks so much 🙏
This video was a pleasure to watch. Thank you.
Thanks so much, glad you enjoyed it
What absolutely beautiful images, thank you.
Thanks so much, glad you enjoyed it
Love you Andy. I've bought everything you use. (My wife, however, hates you because I've bought everything you use.) You scared me that you were changing systems and leaving me high and dry and sobbing. Keep up the good work. I wish you'd do a vid on processing with Luminar.
haha, that's one of my favourite comments Evan. Apologise to your wife for me
This video really puts my photo gear perspective in the right direction.
Thanks for the comment, really glad you enjoyed the video
Next time you’re in Iceland, I’ll have the coffee ready. Great photos 🙏
Ill be there in March Drop me an email and we can see if we can work something out
The images that you produce are incredible and really inspiring, your speech is extremely well builded and listening to you is hypnotic. Thank you for sharing this, amazing job!
Thanks so much for the comment, glad you enjoyed the video
Excellent video and just incredible photos… wow
Thanks so much
Mind blowing images! Much respect!
Thanks so much
There are too many professional photographers who use the Fuji system for it to be dismissed.
Very nice video. Congratulations
Thanks so much for the comment
