Been meaning to comment on this for quite some time...but as per the previous comment...I really do appreciate the way that these presentations are done. Despite a voice that belongs on the radio (as someone mentioned before), NEVER has a bad word been spoken about any knife, design, maker or company. All traits are pointed out in an extremely gentlemanly fashion and anyone watching can make up his own mind whether it is good or bad for him/her. Keep up the good work David and team....we love it !!!
I wish they would let him wear something besides that retro polo shirt. Like some cool Benchmade or CRKT T-Shirts. Anything other than that garage sale polo.
Until 2 months ago, have bought 3 now, one folder cudeman, two fixed mora and cudeman, just learning about steels and manufacturers, enjoy your channel much well done
Hi the Outdoor Edge Conquer Flipper is amazing but I can't find it anywhere in Britain I can get a the Divide I shall be ordering it next week my favourite knife on the table there is Kershaw Norad I have the Kershaw 3/4 Ton but if I could have any knife from that table it would be Boker Gulo Pro that's awesome.
Hey Kevin you forgot one the Byrd Cara Cara 2 by Spyderco you just can't beat it for the price. It comes in several different versions you can even get one with a wave feature. All that for about $25.00 to $55.00 depending what you want.
Buck 345, aka: Vantage Select is still an awesome flipper-folder. Although there are those other premium versions of it, the 345 is simple, ergonomic, and cost effective. I have one made in 2010 that has a little bit of blade-play, even after tuning things up at the pivot. I just purchased two more made in 2019, and those are perfect. The finish has changed in those new models to an all stonewashed finish on the blade. I still highly recommend the Vantage Select as a beginners knife, budget blade, backup blade, or as a great all-around EDC folder that works in the city, on the trail hiking and camping, or even on the hunt.
That CRKT is exactly the kind of EDC I'm looking for work applications ..but I need its bigger brother. Is it available in, say, a 4 inch blade but all else the same?
I love these kind of vids where you get to see knife you normally won't. Great work as usual! I would put the Boker U.S.A. in there. Excellent steel and form for the price. And it's made in America.
These videos are almost better than your usual videoes .. After watching some such vids, I really like to see all these forgotten gems. Great work and thank you so much.
The Kershaw NORAD looks like a great knife worth looking into. Am once again surprised you did not mention some of Kershaw's OTS models that are autos under 100 dollars
Until two months ago now taking an avid interest and have bought 3 so far, just learning about steels and manufacturers, enjoy your channel very much, well done from daz in australia
Hello! I'd like to order soon a few cheap models from you, guys... as well as an expensive one for "my soul" :)... and my question is: do you guys have any sort of tracking on the parcels you ship in Europe? Thank you!
My current carry is my Benchmade 940 that was a b'day gift this past year from my older sister and brother in law. I own around 12 other Benchmades, few HK's which are made by Benchmade as well. That being said I'm planning on picking up a Hogue Microswitch Auto next time I leave and head north to Maine.
Been using a Kizer Envoy I picked up for ever so slightly over 100 dollars and to me it checks all the boxes for EDC (certainly at that price point). Sure, the faux bolsters are not for everyone, but I don't mind them at all. The pocket clip isn't perfect, but took little time getting used to. The only gripe I have with the knife is that the angled, rather rounded flipper without jimping causes a risk of your finger slipping off it.
Hey guys, we had to remove a few comments from this thread as things were getting out of hand. It is fine to debate country of origin, that was not the issue, but this is no place for us to be insulting each other. Please keep the discussion civil.
Hola amigo, le pregunto por las navajas kershaw de fabricación China??? Relación calidad precio, me la recomienda comprar???? Gracias y un saludo y felicidades por el canal
Maybe I missed it but Ganzo knives a friend of mine gave me a firebird f753 real carbon fiber handle 440c blade 25$ to the door unbelievable how nice this knife is for the price
I like what you have presented and you have a great presentation of the knives. I am leaning towards the Kershaw style. It appeals to me and my use.I do have a question on everyday use folding knife that would be durable but not bulky. Price point is important (~$100.00). Any suggestions?
if you can find a Kershaw Bareknuckle for under 100 dollars (it used to be like 80 bucks, but prices have risen), that's probably what you're looking for.
Nice job. I own several higher dollar knives and only one budget knife in the Spyderco Tenacious. I picked one up for $38 dollars out the door and that is one of the best purchases I have made. Definitely no regrets. It is Spyderco quality through and through. Sure, it uses a budget steel but it is better than given credit for. The fit, balance, alignment, action and feel is all very good. I own a Para 3 and a Manix 2 lightweight as well if that tells you anything. Great job, I may have to look into a few of these.
First put the wallet in a drawer, away from David C Anderson, who is one true salesman in the business, fun to watch his presentation and knowledge of the trade.
I had a Spyderco cat before my wife appropriated it. It's a strudy little knife and I think the bd1n (mine is bd1 but my para 3 lw is bd1n) is a pretty solid steel for the price.
The Spyderco Chaparral is one of the best knives they make (in my humble internet opinion). It's the only knife I bought twice, after losing it the first time :( Oh, and the Slacker looks awesome, except for the billboarding on the other side. Not sure I'd carry a knife that said Slacker in big, bold lettering.
Glad you got another one. Have you noticed that whenever you lose or misplace a knife, it suddenly becomes your favorite knife? Absense makes the heart grow fonder. Haha
Hi David! I am so surprised when mentioning Steel Will you overlooked the Cut Jack model? Why? This is an amazing knife which I had owned but decided to give it to a good female friend for self defense purposes or anything else
Companies: Let's not give knives cool names like dragon Slayer or Nordic Thunder instead let's give people the leek and the chatbot. 🙄 Thanks for the video! That hogue knife looks sweet
I love the lines and over all look of the microflip, but the locking mechanism when open or closed doesn't appeal to me at all. We need a button lock flipper video.
Awsome vid, I think you should of added the SOG TERMINUS S35VN! ITS UNDER 100 AND JUST AWSOME! I personally like it better than most benchmade, quality control and care was done, mine has a centered blade, amazing action and the grip is super strong!
I have a good theme for knife video, something in sense of "Good knives that you won't miss when you loose them." I'm sure most of the people watching these videos are knife guys, but I have friends that enjoy knives or even need one, though for whatever they do or just because of their personalities, they can't keep a good eye on their pockets, so spending big money on a knife is useless, since they loose or break them in less than a year, I need some good models that can handle abuse but you won't be sad if you loose them because it was expensive. I know my friends would appreciate it and it could also widen your pool of customers, hope you have a nice day )
Great video again David. It's nice to see knives in the shade of the usual suspects. I loved the Boker, like SOG, they really seem to have upped their game.
Still trying to determine what I consider classy without compromise on an abused Americans budget. I like shiny, but I also like wood grain. The Boker, was a decent option as well as that "orange" wood grain.
You get it! That is exactly why I have been saying it, because you would never know it is great just by the photos and price point. Glad you are liking the knife! -DCA
Benchmade North Folk is a 120-160$ super underrated! Its not for everyone but if you are looking for a 3in benchmade that has full liners and a great blade, it’s rugged and strong! The north folk is for you! Gets neglected because of the lighterweights is the craze right now... i prefer full liners on my knifes!

David is the best host in the UA-cam knife world. Period
This is fact
I wish they would let him wear something besides that retro polo shirt. Like some cool Benchmade or CRKT T-Shirts. Anything other than that garage sale polo.
Totally agree
And he looks like my cousin Eric. Lol
Periot.
Still stuck on the rat 1. It's just well almost perfect.
Indeed
Agreed.
With the new Becker bk-40 out I think the rat 1 has been dethroned
@@mikoyanig5512 I think it will come down to what blade shape someone prefers.
Until 2 months ago, have bought 3 now, one folder cudeman, two fixed mora and cudeman, just learning about steels and manufacturers, enjoy your channel much well done

Cold steel code 4. S35vn triad lock under $100.00

The CRKT Ignitor has been my EDC for more than a decade. I change it out from time to time, but always go back to it.
I came across the CRKT Slacker and bought it for my father as a present. We both are amazed about that nice knife.
I agree with you on the kershaw Norad, still my favorite release from them for 2020.
Really like the look of that CRKT too. Very nice design. And that Hogue is obviously amazing. Love their knives.
I had a Spyderco Cat. The machining and fit were rough. Upgraded to a CJRB for less and it's as good as my Sage 5.
These videos are almost better than your usual videoes .. After watching some such vids, I really like to see all these forgotten gems. Great work and thank you so much.
I like the fieldspar line both sizes are good for the money i use the bigger one as a food prep knife
Crkt should be ashamed to charge that much for 4116 steel, same goes for charging $200 for the Provoke in d2. Outrageous $ for gimmick.
The Kershaw NORAD looks like a great knife worth looking into. Am once again surprised you did not mention some of Kershaw's OTS models that are autos under 100 dollars
Excellent presentation as usual. Awesome
Very calm and professional presentation, never had anything to do with knives until
Until two months ago now taking an avid interest and have bought 3 so far, just learning about steels and manufacturers, enjoy your channel very much, well done from daz in australia
Huh... I had literally never heard of the Cat before. Will have to check that out!
Finally, some love for one of the best knives out there, the Slacker. My heaviest user.
That Steel Will is really nice. The Hogue too. I wish they were both offered in more color options.
Would you please make a video with knives which have wood handles ? Thank you
Civivi pintail, Damascus. My fav.
Guys the outdoor edge black and red one is actually so sweet cuz highly recomend
Man that Boker Plus Gulo Pro is the perfect pocket knife, that is a hard use work horse that looks perfect too.
aside from the 3 page essay they wrote on the back of the blade that crkt looks amazing!
Hello! I'd like to order soon a few cheap models from you, guys... as well as an expensive one for "my soul" :)... and my question is: do you guys have any sort of tracking on the parcels you ship in Europe? Thank you!
I enjoy your pocket reviews. Thank you.

You forgot the CRKT M16 line? Other models like the Tuna?
Why no mention of any of the Kizer vanguard series?
I’m surprised there were no kizers. Their knives are pretty underrated. Maybe the vanguard series was out of stock so they couldn’t show them.
Gemini and flashbang 👍🏼

I love the Rough Ryder Black G10 Linerlock for EDC.
Hola amigo, le pregunto por las navajas kershaw de fabricación China??? Relación calidad precio, me la recomienda comprar???? Gracias y un saludo y felicidades por el canal
Have you guys done any reviews on the best rescue knives? Being a first responder I would love to see what you have and recommend
I dont have a knife recommendation but thank you for your service
ua-cam.com/video/zZicbE3JC9M/v-deo.html
Ha, found it. Have fun shopping 😁
Another great video David and great use of “Jenky”. 😂
That Gulo Pro is one of the best deals for the money, for sure. It’s a lot nicer than some of the more expensive knives I have. ☝🏼😬
Hi David! That change in shirt was a great move. That shirt you are currently wearing is a better design and look
Thank you David. I purchases a Hogue yesterday. I think that makes 5 in the last 4 months.
People should keep their eye on Hogue. They are doing great stuff! -DCA

if you can find a Kershaw Bareknuckle for under 100 dollars (it used to be like 80 bucks, but prices have risen), that's probably what you're looking for.
Since these are all folders, would you consider a similar video with underrated fixed blades?
Nice job. I own several higher dollar knives and only one budget knife in the Spyderco Tenacious. I picked one up for $38 dollars out the door and that is one of the best purchases I have made. Love them all !!! Excellent
David excellent job as usual !!!!
Everytime I watch David C. Anderson my wallet cries.
Lol🍻
First put the wallet in a drawer, away from David C Anderson, who is one true salesman in the business, fun to watch his presentation and knowledge of the trade.
Great video!!
What about GiantMouse Ace Iona?
I had a Spyderco cat before my wife appropriated it. It's a strudy little knife and I think the bd1n (mine is bd1 but my para 3 lw is bd1n) is a pretty solid steel for the price.
doormat
The X gear deluxe tool has all of the things you need on a pocket knife without the gigantic bulk that most of the other ones have.
Is it me, or is the phrase "comin' at ya" the best way to begin a knife video? 🤣
What about the Spyderco Ambitious?
I would have added in the Esee Medellin for it’s unbearable warranty and under $50
Nice🍻
The Spyderco Chaparral is one of the best knives they make (in my humble internet opinion). It's the only knife I bought twice, after losing it the first time :(
Oh, and the Slacker looks awesome, except for the billboarding on the other side. Not sure I'd carry a knife that said Slacker in big, bold lettering.
Glad you got another one. Have you noticed that whenever you lose or misplace a knife, it suddenly becomes your favorite knife? Absense makes the heart grow fonder. Haha
Chapparal ftw. Best slicer I've ever used.
The ka-bar Juaroz is 100 percent an excellent knife.
Hogue micro flip. My buddy has one. I want one.👍
Didn’t see the flipper on the Norad till now!
Very nice that Boker.
What about the Gerber fastball? S30V stell, amazing detent and aluminium scales for under 100!
Ive been looking at that knife! Interesting indeed
Definitely a great blade 🍻
Hi David! I am so surprised when mentioning Steel Will you overlooked the Cut Jack model? Why? This is an amazing knife which I had owned but decided to give it to a good female friend for self defense purposes or anything else
The Hogue is at $157+ It looks worth every penny. Great video!
It was less expensive when this vid was posted :) -DCA
What is the best flipper?
Of the knives in this video? Definitely the Hogue.
The norad has been my on my buy list for a while
No Camillus? You sell them, some in D2 with good prices.
Thanks!
Companies: Let's not give knives cool names like dragon Slayer or Nordic Thunder instead let's give people the leek and the chatbot. 🙄
Thanks for the video! That hogue knife looks sweet
I love the lines and over all look of the microflip, but the locking mechanism when open or closed doesn't appeal to me at all. We need a button lock flipper video.
Nice video. Jesse Jarosz maybe should have got more of a mention.
Awsome vid, I think you should of added the SOG TERMINUS S35VN! ITS UNDER 100 AND JUST AWSOME! I personally like it better than most benchmade, quality control and care was done, mine has a centered blade, amazing action and the grip is super strong!
Spyderco gas a tremendous line of great knives under 100 dollars as does Kershaw,Gerber,Civivi,CRKT and Two Sun knives
Hey David! The black shirt looks better on you.
I have a good theme for knife video, something in sense of "Good knives that you won't miss when you loose them." Anything from this video would be great. Best budget pocket knives under $30! - ua-cam.com/video/aRaqqnw7GVA/v-deo.html
Great video again David. It's nice to see knives in the shade of the usual suspects.
I loved the Boker, like SOG, they really seem to have upped their game.

Steel will for sure
Could you do a under $200
No Cold Steel knives? No Gerber knives? Hmmm?
At this point I think Civivi is the company to beat in the budget range.
griptilian, delica???? two I'd never even give a glance too!
Hey Dave how's it going brother? You forgot to mention the Spyderco Ambitious! It's a great little knife with a lot of CUT!
You mean Tenacious??
Hi DCA, the youtuber BIGREDEDC's friend actually designed that k-bar knife :)) I thought that was kind of cool 😎 just saying
Fixed blades next please
Handled a Gulo Pro yesterday. On paper the price sounds rediculous. In hand it feels like a bargain.
You get it! That is exactly why I have been saying it, because you would never know it is great just by the photos and price point. Glad you are liking the knife! -DCA
Ken Onion is a Genius , that CRKT I might take another look at . The blade is like a leek .
i like the hogue
Benchmade North Folk is a 120-160$ super underrated! Its not for everyone but if you are looking for a 3in benchmade that has full liners and a great blade, it’s rugged and strong! The north folk is for you! Gets neglected because of the lighterweights is the craze right now... i prefer full liners on my knifes!
No Kizer knives?
You should do a Doug demero tribute “THIS” is a blah blah blah
He goes over the quirks and features.
Love the Spyderco Cat just wish they would do a new upgraded version
I cannot imagine spending $100 on a pocketknife, $25-$30 for me.
I got tired of sharpening the super-soft cheapie steels but for me $100 for an edc is ok assuming its s30/s35vn, cts xhp heck even d2.
Do it again with knives over $1000.
Buck Vantage Force Select
Underrated retail term for not selling
That’s a robust head on that baby torso. Have you ever even used a knife outside of the flower garden
Why are notions the only thing I ever get disabused of?
