I just bought this and don’t know where to start.. have an idea of what I’m looking for with string expressions and such but there are so many libraries and it’s overwhelming! Thanks for the video!!
I ended up buying this during a sale from Native Instruments. Really love how it sounds. I was able to put something together even though I know little about orchestral composition. As another person said, it hard to know where to start …all the things you can change.
i bought this and I'm overall extremely happy, especially with Majestica which I have wanted for so long, the samples sound fantastic and the library is really easy to use. The choir libraries are pretty good as well (though they dont feel as natural compared to EW Hollywood Choirs). I feel bad for the people who missed that deal. I mean 10 high quality libraries (usually priced at 60-90e each) for only 200e is a steal. But the biggest thing with this bundle is, you can use Kontakt Player, no need to have the Kontakt full version (if you buy the libraries separately directly , from 8dio, its Kontakt Full only) 👍
I'm on the monthly subscription with East West. I'd love to buy strings and brass libraries outright but I've not experienced anything as good as East West for orchestra instruments. I have Komplete 13 the collectors edition. I'm getting more into sound design than traditional music writing because of my interest in composing for games. This DOES strike me as a very good deal though. 200 Euro for all this. I wonder how the brass is on this versus East West.
I've bougth this bundle, but now I how wonder how I upgrade to Majestica Ultra exactly. Or let 8dio know that I've bought their products in general for things like these. ???
Hi! Unfortunately Kontakt doesn't yet have accessibility features integrated, but if you have our Kontrol keyboard, you can activate accessibility features within the Komplete Kontrol software.
@@NativeInstruments As a visually impaired person myself, and a user of the NVDA screen reader, making Kontact compatible would already be something great. 😆
Hello guys, so I am kind of new in the game. So far I understand spitfire and orchestral tools offer the best sampled symphonic instruments, with EW Opus coming close second. How do you think this compares to them ? It is crazy cheap compared to OT and Spitfire. (Opus has a subscription, so it is a different story)
You get what you pay for... You are right. OT and Spitfire are on the top. There are others also, such as Cinesamples, ProjectSAM, and several more that are worth it. Speaking of Cinesamples, are you familiar with their Musio player? You should check it out. Probably the most affordable orchestral subscription on the market right now with huge amount of selection. $10 a month gets you access to all of them (over 1800+ instruments) and growing (Similar to EW Composer Cloud). You can also purchase a permanent license for very affordable price.
What is the best is matter of taste and it depends on a specific library. Sometimes the higher price is only matter of a good marketing and let's say company reputation. Fully realize what you want to make and then choose the appropriate product for you. 8dio Anthology string library is great and century brass or strings too. 8dio tries to survive and that's why you can see the current prices. One rule that I can recommend you, don't buy any more expensive VST at the full price.
@@mehranmosaddeq - I agree with the Century Brass. I own it and it sounds very natural. The Lacrimossa choir however is getting dated according to most. Most of the other products are a bit “meh”. There are better, much better string libraries out there. You’d be paying $200 for what? If you need the brass, get it straight from 8Dio while on sale. Last sale they did it was $48.

Hi! You'll need the latest version from our website to access the NKS features. If you haven't grabbed the bundle already, you can get it here: bit.ly/3JZSO3g
I don't think so, no. It's a product line-up fully made by a different company (8Dio), and usually the instruments in the Komplete packages are either made by Native Instruments on their own, or when they collab with another company.
It means everything is mapped and integrated with our software/hardware. For example, if you own a Kontrol keyboard, it will be loading up with all the controls already assigned.
You're probably looking for dynamics, which when automated triggers less loud samples for long (sustain) notes. The dynamics are triggered using the mod wheel (CC1).
If this is some sort of rant about Native Instruments making sample libraries instead of modern production stuff, this is the wrong place to be. The products in the video are made by 8dio.
You do realize, even 30 years ago, keyboard/workstations like the Ensoniq TS series used sampled instruments, not synthesised instruments? That’s why their pianos, strings, drums, and more, sounded realistic.
