thank you very much, my father and grandfather build their homes, I can feel the influence particularly strongly in my grandfather's home, both were engineers
Isn't it amazing how fresh and bold these houses are 50 or more years after they were designed and built? True genius. It's sad to know that most every one of the original fellows in the fellowship are gone and the FLLW foundation is no longer promoting cutting edge design. It seems that some new hangers-on are trying to find a new reason to continue its existence. I'm not sure they will find it or be able to promote it without the creativity of the people who were dedicated to its original purpose being there. I have lived my whole adult life admiring most of Wright's work from his earliest designs to the final ones that he executed before he died. A great talent that could only happen in America, in my opinion.l
FLW's method statement was clearly : " A house is a machine for NOT living in " , and stuff you , Mies Van de Rohe , for getting fabulous commercial commissions instead of me .
Mies was a German, cigar puffing non-talent whose work was praised by people with no idea about good design. Anyone could design a vertical 30 story glass brick with no character. So could he.
Spectacular! Thanks! Lose the deer caption, we get it. The deer has great taste. Music too loud in order to view, absorb, understand and appreciate the genius of Wright and the owners who also "got" it.
how about a bit of context - where is this house located, a map / aerial photo, when was it built, is it still lived in today or is it a museum, etc....
It was nice to design homes without the damn building codes. Unfortunately new homes are controlled by restrictive codes and idiotic inspectors and construction officials. Case in point, and egress widow from the second floor bedroom the size of a twin mattress. In my next life will find another profession. I am not sure what that would be?
The Mozart would go better with traditional European Classic Architecture. To me Wright blends better with something Post-Romantic, above Tertian harmony, but not violently atonal.

So beautifully shown, with great music .... Thank you!!!
great video; great music; very thorough, thank you!
What a house! Great video!
I like that they have Walter Lamb patio furniture.
Opinion question: What automobile would look best in the carport?
Usonian... These homes were designed and constructed later in his career... I like the choice in music too!
very useful for my palmer house re-creation project
Imagine designing a home down to the last detail, including furniture to be an integral part of the overall architecture...FLW DID!
Great architectural tour!
Great video. You may want to consider another choice for music.
This house displays Wright's love of temperature extremes. Anything above or below 90 degrees is suitable.
If this were my house, I would love to deal with temperatures that are not comforting to one such as you.
Very hard to watch with that constant zoom effect. Also, the music seems completely unrelated to American organic is architecture.
So the beds have asymetrical matresses, meaning, if you need a new one, it has to be custom made.
I like the kitchen.

Ummm, it's just photos with no dialogue. Turn it down if you don't like it, fool! 🤣🤣🤣
How about some Claude Debussy?
The pieces like; Arabesque, Claire de Lune among others might suit the site and times more appropriately. Enjoy! Thanks
Sarte would be better.
Video Good, music wrong. I muted it and played Walter Piston's Violin Concerto no. 1. Something from the mid 20bth century.

Google its location.
I think it's an Airbnb now. Like $500/night sooooooo...yeah🙄
Can I suggest you provide more information on the house in the description?
The Internet called ...
FLW- limited furniture arrangements 🤔😂

Please , any body tells me about the inspiration of Frank to built this masterpiece?!!

The wide angle lens is ridiculous.
