My personal opinion is I like the 3D remix with Justin Timberlake SOOOO much better than the original with Jack Harlow.

@@BrookeMorrison. YES YOU DO! It is AMAZING!!! I was surprised at how many reactors did not like Jack Harlow’s work on this. And the reactors were mostly men, and black men, who are used to the vulgar rap lyrics. I do not watch any Asian female reactors, and less than 5 female reactors. So I was very surprised at their reactions, and less than positive remarks. But Justin knocked it out of the ballpark! It was a collab made in heaven!

I totally agree! SNTY is the gold in Golden and my very favorite solo ever from Jungkook. There was an interview by Dispatch early on and JK said he was most excited about SNTY and that he felt they had created something kind of epic.
The video is a throwback to the 1990’s movie Romeo and Juliet-a modern retelling.
I thought black swan at first. But there are close up pics in the behind story and the wings appear to have been white but are black all on the outside of the wings. Hence the statement “I’ll be standing in the fire next to you.” Almost like a protective angel?
(There are angel wings in the movie that the female lead wears.)

YES, you're back!!! I have been waiting for your reactions to these videos. Like you, I love all of these songs, but SNTY is my favorite of these particular ones. (As far as the album is concerned, Hate You is also among my top favorites. Be sure to watch the visualizer/MV for that, too!!) I agree with what others have said - the 3D collab with Justin Timberlake outshines the original version, no question for me. Hi, I am back. Good reaction, ty. Good remix. Oh my gosh Usher slayed. I am so happy we finally got this collab. I hope they do more in the future(2025). So good. Great vocals. BTS called out Usher in Butter. Jimin is a huge fan. Usher liked Butter too. We been waiting for this collab since Butter. So happy. I bet Jimin is jelly. Maybe in the future we can get a Jimin and Usher collab. That would be so sweet. Sigh. Seeing Usher do some of the choreo was wonderful. He is the 2nd US artist to do their choreo. It means a lot. Jk looked hot. Loved seeing the Korean love sign from Brian. So sweet. The backup dancers /choreographers slayed. So fun. Have not seen any Usher's stuff recently. He changed his dancing a lot. There’s some great comments about what is happening in the MV and I’m fully in the camp that it is showing that while the world might feel like it is falling down or trying to drown her, he is there ready to support her even when she lashes out at him. He will wait until she is ready, hence the ending of it is her that reaches out her hand and only then does he touch her. Consent baby! He said that the MV is about what people go through in a relationship and, yeah, so much of it can be angry words caused by outside pressures in life, but the real ones in your life are the ones there to support and wait for you. They don’t minimise your anger.

Oh, and another thing- props to JK for performing this live. I know we all expect him to sing live, but the construction of this makes this a reeeeeally hard as a song to sing live, even if we were just standing still. There is no space within the phrasing to catch your breath and gather yourself to keep going -a bit similar to that Kid Laroi/Bieber number. They’ve deliberately layered and run the phrasing together, which world great for the pace and excitement on a studio recording, but is a nightmare to try to navigate in a live performance!

71 year old Army here. This song is pure Pop, no Kpop involved here. Jung Kook said he wants to be a huge Pop star and that means a more western audience. It was written by Canadian Producer Cirkut, who has produced for "The Weekend", Grammy nominated American producer Andrew Watt who has produced for Justin Bieber, singer/songwriter John Bellion plus one other. It was also produced by Circut and Andrew Watt and recorded in L.A. The MV was filmed at Universal Studios in Hollywood.
BTW, This song had 100+ million views on youtube in 10 days (now 108.6 million) and is the fastest song ever to reach 100 million streams on Spotify. The streams are now over 217 million Spotify streams making Jung Kook's "Seven" feat. Latto the biggest streaming debut in Spotify history.

the 3D collab with Jack Harlow was a big fail. I know there is a language barrier, and maybe something was missed.... but a huge percentage of JK's fans are female, and Jack's cringe was just not it for this fanbase. What a fail in marketing to not see that. At least there was an alternative version, and then they later released the Justin Timberlake version.

It is ok not to like something, but to speak for everybody's preferences is a bit weird. If you don't like the original version with Jack Harlow listen to the other songs on the album or to the other versions of 3D.
I agree. It honestly ruined his solo work for me. I understand translations can get mixed up but no one caught it? I find that hard to believe considering the effort it takes to produce a song. I dont understand ppl saying "he's grown up now" then excuse such a miss. If you're out there saying you're grown and mature yet condone this release...then he went Live and said he didn't care if ppl didn't like it. Ngl he broke my heart.
