Several UA-camrs need to watch this. 😉
Thanks Kay :) Much appreciated, feel free to share it out to any fellow creators of course :) Let me know what other questions I can help with through my channel or create future videos for. -Rob

Great tutorial Rob!
THANK YOU Desiree! Much appreciated.
Happy festive period !
I need some help / advice about the screen share audio quality.
The issue I'm getting is that the audio on the screen share is poor and its killing the quality of my videos.
How do I get the best audio quality with screen share feature ?
Thanks
Hi, I’m using just and sm58 and my Scarlett 2i2 interface, but struggling to be able to play the sounds from a screen share as well as my mic.
Wait so if you have your interface in, it'll automatically detect that on streamyard? without using a daw. or anything?
Hi Rob, We produce the GET It podcast and have been hooking up multiple mics to a mixer and then sending that signal to Garageband to process, but now we want to add an Iphone camera and send both the audio and the visual signals to StreamYard. Can you tell us the easiest, cheapest, way to do that?
Thank you for sharing this now I know. Keep it up sir
Thanks Lenny!!
What’s your channel about?
Etc sir hehe
When you choose your mic 🎙 which I will do what about having guest should you change the speaker 🔈 help I have an interview on Friday
thank you , you are a rockstar
+Producer Mark thanks Mark!
How do I connect 2 or more microphones?
Hi Rob, thanks for this video. I am a livestreaming musician and I have a Rode condenser Mic to Scarlett 4i4 audio interface to Mac book pro, and logitech webcam. I am able to livestream well, but would like to add effects like reverb to my vocals. How can I add reverb to my vocals? Thanks in advance.
HI Amber - I'm not that fancy but you may need to get a mixer from what I can gather. I would suggest checking out channels like Kevin Kolbe, Dean Reynolds Media, and even Daniel Batal for this type of expertise with music content :)
Hey Rob, thanks for the video!!!!! Question, when hosting a broadcast to FB, if one of the guests play a music video (using OBS virtual camera), the audio quality goes down very quickly and it sounds like if it is under water, the music almost cannot be heard and the voice sounds very compressed. That does not happen if the same video is streamed directly to FB Live without using StreamYard. Any advice on that regards? The only way I can live stream a video in StreamYard with good sound quality is if I loaded it as a StreamYard presentation video but it has to be less than 100Mb in size.
Hey David, that is definitely a limit on Streamyard at the moment. Is the music video component a critical piece of your show? If so, you may have to look at using something like eCamm or another streaming platform.... unfortunately. I have an awesome friend of mine, Diana Gladney, joining me live tomorrow that may be able to give some insight on this. I'll try to ask her. Join us if you can :)
Does that allow you to monitor your vocals during the livestream because my headset connects to the MacBook Pro. I have mic set to my mic and headset connected to headset and can only hear the livestream not anything I say. The audience can hear both but I can only hear livestream.
Ah I believe so, I have my headphones connected to my external mic so I can hear myself as well
What mic do you have
Great Tutorial! thank you. Sometimes StreamYard shows me 2 Yetis when im only using one.. any tips? - Thank you so much! 😀
Sounds like a glitch. Do both options work?

Hi! My yeti isn't showing up in the drop-down. I've looked the last two times after restarting, plugging and unplugging etc. Any ideas? My audio is not syncing lately and I'm bummed about my last three live sessions.
That's super odd.
Do you have a Mac or PC.... do other apps/programs on your machine pick up the Yeti, and it's just Streamyard that's not picking it up?
@@robertbalasabas Hi! It's a PC, and yes, everything else is working!!!
My issue is that when I do that the audio is out of sync with the video. The only way I can have them syncronized is to use the audio source that is connected to my camera (M6 Mark II connected via HDMI capture). Streamyard had no fix for this.
That's odd. I'll check it out.
For me it only shows the built in Mac mic. My mic is connected to my camera, but not sure how to get it to show up as an option to use.
I can imagine the setup, is there a way to connect your mic directly to your laptop or desktop? If you can manage that, it should detect your external mic
Thanks for this! So i'm using the Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 solo. It shows up as an option in the menu, but when selected, does not seem to be capturing sound. My built in speakers(it's a macbook pro) DO pick up sound...but that's not what I want. What should I do?
I have the exact same problem. Did you ever fix it?
Same problem for me as well.
@@metal_helm I did not. :(
Same…audience can hear livestream and me but I can only hear the livestream.
I'll be using my Blue Yeti for live vids and zoom calls.
Let me know how it goes. I've heard some people message me saying that it doesn't make a difference with their audio quality when streaming. That's not the case for my lives, but curious about your experience with using the yeti for your live vids and zooms.
@@robertbalasabas did some tests already, not a huge improvement but my voice doesn't sound as "bassy" as it did with the NW800 and its distance effect is a lot more manageable.
That said I can really boost the NW800 beyond what the Blu Yeti can do, but at that point there is a lot of noise and you have to wispher (so more of a "hmm" test then actual usable setting).
So its more "user friendly" solution and slightly more accurate rendition of my true voice (according to my mom - who has way better hearing than I do).
so I'm using my rode shotgun mic and I can record and playback sound no problem but you can't hear me if I'm not recording stream. Confused
Hi Leeb, so you're not able to hear yourself, unless you press "GO LIVE"?
what if someone is sending a link to be apart of their live, can you still use your external microphone?
Hi Erica, thanks or your question. Yes, you can still use your external mic even if you have a guest... and your guest can connect their external microphone too :)
Rob Balasabas I’m the guest actually, this person does use anything, no mic or anything, probably just her phone but I want to use my Canon Powershot G7X and an external shure Microphone. I have to sing on the show and I’m trying to give the best presentation I can
Can I connect a mic and mixer to stream yard? And if so, how can I do that?
Hi Cindy, yup - that's totally doable. If you head to the Streamyard FB Group, there's plenty of examples of people that do that inside the group :)
I keep getting Echoing Sound When I screen share ... I figure out Why??? Awesome Channel Brother.
Hi Nicole! Thanks for the compliment :) You're getting an echo - can you tell me a bit more about what your audio setup is? Are you using an external mic or your laptop built-in mic?
@@robertbalasabas It's A Hp LabTop Built In Microphone Rob ☺ Thank you for responding to my comment.
How can you connect two external mics from the same location? When I try to connect my aggregate device that combined the two mics Streamyard only picks up one mic. Do I need a mixer in order to get this to work? I tried the blackhole plugin and it doesn't seem to work. I would greatly appreciate it if you can help me with this. Even if it means I need to pay for a mixer or any other audio interface device. Many thanks!
For anyone wondering...I decided to download the free trial of Loopback and I was able to connect both usb mics without an aggregate device. I did a quick test and it seems it's working as its supposed to. Just wanted to give an update in case there are other people having the same issue.
Nice! I've never played with Loopback. I was gonna reply initially to say that yes, you'd need an interface or mixer to be able to use 2 external mics from the same location. Glad you figured it out!
@@robertbalasabas Finally recorded my first video podcast, so I'm super excited about that. It's not perfect, but it's a process. Thanks for your videos again!
BOSS I have Question to you my first time to try the streamyard & I accidently block the mic /cam 😔how I fix this problem?
Hey there! So the mic was blocked through the entire session? Did you capture any audio at all?
If you start the streamyard for the beginning you need to Allow anything Right?
So what happen next is for Mic /cam option come out two options says Block or allowed
I can't touch the allowed I don't know why I just go back and when I try to log in Streamyard it said you are blocked your Mic & Cam 😢😢😢😢 I try to find way I don't know how??? 😔😔
Thank you for your reply I really appreciate ❤️❤️❤️❤️
It says Edit my Browser but I dont know we're I go?
How about if I'm doing a live workout video?
+Yahya Sigidi good question, you might want to check into a lav or a wireless mic that clips into your shirt. There are some good options on amazon.
Not showing in setting for maono au Ao4 microphone podcast, can you please help
Your mic isn’t showing up in the settings for audio inputs?
@@robertbalasabas done bro, your videos helped alot, thank you so much, keep up with great content 👍👌
AWESOME!
Now we can do stream yard on mobile and there's less options. My sound sounds horrible and video quality is horrible. Streamlabs is better quality. I hope streamyard will make adjustments
Are you in the Streamyard FB Group? They have an awesome community, and I'm sure they'd be happy to hear that feedback.
What? You did not show HOW you added it. I have a blue yeti. Before I came to this vid I went into the settings. There are NO options...my Yeti is plugged in and it is not on here. ONLY my default or. imac...what did u do?
Hmm... that's off. Do you plug it in directly to your laptop/desktop or do you have an adapter?
@@robertbalasabas no adapter- just plugged it in.
