Some people on youtube compared the sound of CBR500R to a sound of a moped\gocart but it does not sound like that at all. It sounds like a regular 2 cylinder parallel twin. When people see the bike with its sporty look they expect the 4 cylinder howl of supersport while in practice it sounds closer to a V-twin chopper more than anything. While it may seem a bit weird to put a 2 cylinder engine on a bike with such looks but with the twin it got some decent torque on low revs which will pull you out of any road situation and far ahead of anything at the traffic light.
@@dredadon6515 If you are in Europe a beginner bike is 125cc and that is personally what I would recommend to learn motorcycling on. As such, no, I would not recommend cbr500 as a beginner bike if it is your very first bike. It is an excellent intermediate bike though before moving on onto 4 cylinder sports of 600cc+.
@@dredadon6515 honestly in the U.S entry level bikes would be the 300 class but this cbr is on par w those guys u can start out on any bike u want. The bike will only go as fast as you allow it to. I don’t understand why everyone is surprised by the “bad” sound. It sounds exactly like any other parallel twin engine. Compare it to a Polaris RZR or anything with the same engine config. It’s obviously not going to have the same sound as an I4 that revs to 20k rpm. Pretty simple stuff people.
Its for those who wants an affordable bike(like me) that is way more cheaper to maintain than 4cyl.mc yet more powerful than any mc under 500 cc displacement. Its a good-looking MC and its fast enought to out run an inline 4 bike. Sorry for my English ✌️😎
I honestly really don't like the Coffmans shorty that came on my CBR500R when I bought it used. Stupid loud and really raw. I could see some riders being into it but I'd like the option to be a little less in other motorists faces (or ears I guess) at least some of the time.

Usually like short exhausts but the delkavic suits it so well
Eww
i agree delkevic sounds beast in person
Indeed
Looks and sounds great.
Best exhaust sound that installed in 600cc motorcycle and above.. I did hear nice sound on small motorcycle 😏
Obviously it's not gunna sound like the big boys but they do sound better than the stock. That's the goal. 😌
that GPR is almost a straight pipe no? cause my god that sound is deeper than the mariana trench...
It's just like a Coffman or any other Shorty's, that one sounds alright though. That much money I would just go with Two Brothers.
boo to the guy with the gpr muffler ... too afraid to rev it beyond idle :/
Would you happen to know where I can purchase one of those exhaust?
GPR and toce are the best ones!!
