I can’t compromise on tea. I just can’t! I buy Ringtons. You can’t buy their stuff in the shops. It’s either delivered by a man in a little van or purchased online. Their tea is the best! Decent coffee and biscuits as well. Ringtons aren’t cheap but the important things in life, like tea, coffee and biscuits are worth paying for.
I used to really like Tetley tea once, then I tried Yorkshire and it's been no contest ever since. So I can't really compare Asda teabags to Tetley, but on the other hand if you only have 31p in your purse, it's good to know these are OK! And often it's a case of leaving the bag to 'brew' for a bit longer, to help the taste along.
To keep your essentials teabags fresh, just put them in an empty, cleaned and dried Just Essentials coffee jar 😁 I use the Just Essentials teabags, they are fine but I do leave the bag in for a good 4 mins. If you can, try the ALDI top of the range teabags. Here in Ireland they are called "McGrath's Fair Trade Reserve Tea" & comes in a black box of 80 teabags for €1.39. It has won two awards. In the Uk it may have a different name but is probably the same tea in a similar black box! It is a fabulous tea and is every bit the equal of the top of the range teabags from the big manufacturers that cost 3 times the price.
I've always preferred decent quality loose tea in a proper teapot because that's the tea I grew up drinking. I do have teabags in the house because my daughter prefers a bag in a cup (she leaves it in). Each to their own. I realised a while ago that a lot of tea bags contain plastic & don't break down in the compost heap. PG Tips bags do though so I get those in for her. I think more brands are switching away from polymer teabags but I think PG were the first big brand that did. I wouldn't say I'm minted these days but even in my skintest days there were some things I didn't skimp on because it made me feel poorer. Tailors (Yorkshire tea) is pretty damn good in the mornings. Lunchtime and beyond, I generally drink Earl Grey, with a half slice of lemon if I’m lucky. When you drink tea at the right strength, and temperature, blimey, what a lift it gives you.
I find if you drink any brand of tea for a few days, your taste buds get used to it and accept it as the norm. The best test Gareth would be for you (and your family) to drink the cheap tea for a few days, then do a blind tasting, and see which you prefer. Also bear in mind, the cheap tea contained 25% less than the Tetleys. You need to compensate for this in someway.
Up until very recently the wife and I worked for Asda (over 30 years between us). We just took VERY EARLY retirement and, whilst there are limits (only Kelloggs make cornflakes!) we're tempted to try a full Just Essentials shop. Assuming we're still alive after a week we may stick with it - stretch the savings out until the pension kicks in!
I have tried many brands of tea and my favourite is Tetley and yes I have tried many other brands including PGTips and Yorkshire. If Tetley is not available, I go for Typhoo which to me is the nearest tea to Tetley, thing is its all down to personal taste as to what each individual prefers. I used to pay £2.49 for 240 Tetley tea bags, price has gone up now and last week I paid £2.99 for 240 bags at Tesco, so that still works out at only 1.25 pence per tea bag of delicious Tetley tea, cant complain at that and NO WAY worth even considering any tasteless budget economy brands ! What ever your favourite tea bag is, well just stick to it being as all tea bags are quite cheap for what they are and for myself, well I will not compromise on the pleasure I get from drinking a nice cup of my favourite cup of tea, especially the first cup of the day !
I did a similar test a few years ago, comparing the then 'smart price' tea to my usual brew, but did it less scientifically (got the colours of the two teas roughly the same as the 'equaliser', so 'brew' time in the cup was different and did some squeezing of the tea bags while in the cup), and found the SP tea to be stronger with a bit of a bitter tang that felt like it was coating your mouth more. They're fine as 'emergency back up' but like you, I still preferred the alternative. As price goes though, they're not a bad tea and with some trial and error can probably make a nicer cuppa. Keep up the comparisons, I'm really enjoying them!
Had a few days break over in Yorkshire a couple of weeks back, very enjoyable it was. Went into a cafe in Richmond for a brew (as you do) and had the nicest tea I've had in ages. I asked what the tea was I had just been drinking, to be told it was a blend from a local Richmond company, called Mad Hatter tea. It was lovely......
Ay up Gareth…..I’ve recently watched your reviews on Asda essentials tea and coffee…. I totally agree that the coffee is excellent value for not much compromise in taste ✔️ The tea, (p**s weak according to my partner!!) isn’t as ‘strong’ as branded items, but I drink loads of it and find it refreshing without the heavy tannin content. Keep up the entertaining and informative clips pal 👍🏻
Hi Gareth. Another good comparison, keep them coming. We have found here, in our area in Northern Thailand, that TyPhoo suits the local non Chlorinated ( but filtered ) water. We use an old stainless tea pot that makes a good cuppa and prefer semi skimmed milk with it. Tea bags were bought on our last visit to UK in 2019, too much Covid in UK STILL, very little in our area. All our best wishes, Don, Phannee and the boys.
I sometimes buy the just essentials tea bag, I actually prefer them to many other brands. I once made a quiche using only essentials apart from the bacon. It was delicious, I served it to my fellow students at my computer class and they all said it was lovely. For only a few pence they sure are good!!!!
To my horror I heard they put coffee in bags . No whatever next . Only tetley for me . Great reveiw this essential stuff seems to be catching on thou. Keep em coming gaz can you do mince pies as I love em 😋
We're Brits, we shouldn't settle for weak rubbish tea! I will never buy cheap supermarket tea ever again after my one purchase thinking it would be as good as the expensive stuff. Boy was I wrong! 😖 The cheap tea is probably at the price it is because it is literally the leftover tea dust during the manufacturing process (that would probably have been thrown away) of the good tea leaves that sells for a premium.
Tell that to my brother and sister - bought cheap supermarket tea bags - despite that, they decreed that it was possible to make a strong cup of tea for any number of people using only one bag in the teapot - then complained because it was too weak! What do they expect when they buy cheap tea bags and insist that I can make a strong cup of tea for four people, using only one bag?
@@arthurvasey I wonder why they said it was possible.... have they tried doing it before? Maybe it's just them being hopeful that the cheap stuff is as good as the pricey stuff. Although, they could've at least used 2-3 tea bags since there's so many people! 😅
@@jennifermiranda6023 Yup! Tea is comforting if you're having a bad day, or if the weather is rainy and rubbish. For that small moment of time as we sip each mouthful, it's like all is well in the world 😊 Well, unless if it's rubbish tea and then it just adds to the disappointment lol! 😂
@@SoullessAbandon Ha ha, I couldn't get through the day without a good brew. My grandma always said that tea gives you strength. I think there is something in that as she had 7 children and lived till 83. I'll take her word for it!
You get different grades of tea, so it's more likely that the smaller holes in the cheaper teabag is because the tea is more like tea dust!! If the perforations were bigger the tea 'dust' would escape into your cup lol! I don't like to skimp on my tea so I usually buy PG Tips. My mum always used to buy sainsburys red label. Sometimes you've got to pay a little more if you know you're getting better quality, and let's be honest, you've got to have something to look forward to and a nice cup of tea is not going to break the bank 👍🏻
@@BaldFoodieGuy not having a dig mind, if you haven't got much then something is better than nothing. Years back a friend of mine would buy what was then called "no frills" tea bags, think there was a shop with the name "no frills" and everything was branded as such.....literally the cheapest tea bags you could buy and for good reason, they were pretty awful lol!
Tea dust 😄🤣 i like it. You're right too about looking forward to a nice cup of tea. Can you imagine getting through this winter and cost of living crisis with a cup of tea dust 😭
@@jennifermiranda6023 yes exactly, there's so much more to worry about like being able to heat your home, what with bills sky rocketing etc., so paying just a little more for a proper cup of tea is very small, like a drop in the ocean really. 🙂
Great review 👍🏻 but got to be Yorkshire tea for me 😊 nothing compares from the ones I've tried, Tetley, typhoo Aldi ect , Yorkshire tea is on the expensive side but we'll worth it ✌️♥️
Hey BFG! Just found your channel and I like your videos ! I love Builder's Tea. It's hard to find here in the US though. They sometimes had them at World Market in the food section but they were expensive. When I have the money nowadays, I get Tetley's British Blend teabags. KInd of pricey but good. You could always use a second bag of the ASDA
I like Twinings Strong English Breakfast on a 2 min brew myself, but they are expensive af... I've had cheaper supermarket tea bags and like you say brew a little longer and totally drinkable.
I have bought the white label stuff for years, not because I have to but because I'm a miser lol, but I have to say I draw the line at tea bags. Not had the really cheap ones for a while - they might have improved - but I find that if you leave them in for long enough to get stronger (and stir/squeeze the bag etc) they become actively unpleasant, with a really coarse taste that's like eating soil or something. I've settled on the "posh" Aldi/Lidl stuff, you can get stuff like Earl Grey or English Breakfast tea for 90p for 50 and these, while still cheaper than Tetley I prefer, and you can alternate the flavours so you don't get bored with one type.
If you haven't yet, give the just essentials sausages a try, frozen section £1.21 for 20 and we all preferred them over Richmond and some proper sausages too. Just a good simple sausage the kids will eat and does its job in bangers and mash with some gravy :) Thanks for the video as always!!
Saying they're better than Richmond doesn't mean much 🤣. I've tried the Asda cheap ones, they're alright, a lot of sh*te comes out of them though. Alright for a quick sausage sandwich as they taste like your generic cheap butty van Sausage
Great video, drinking a cup of Aldi Red Label tea right now, £1.19 for 160 bags, similar to Tetley, but much cheaper. Update - gone up to £1.29, but still excellent value.
Ahhh Tetley! My missus is tea total...She will sniff out a cheap cup of tea at a thousand yards lol...Tetley or PG tips is her preference. If I came home with Essentials tea bags and brewed her up a cuppa World War 3 would break out and my life would not be worth living. Glad to see you didn't add the milk first. She would even know if I made it the wrong way, seriously lol. All the best bud.
I miss using the real rea leaves but the seem hard to find nowadays and the leaves left a mess but I put tea bags into my compost bin. I do use a teapot and often use a cheap one and a Yorkshire and blend it myself. Keep up the comparisons.
When I first went down to England from Scotland and first tried the water I spat it out thinking there was something wrong with it! The degree of limescale in the kettle was horrendous! I’m so pleased we have pure water in Scotland and I’m certain that the impurity of English water affects the taste of the tea!
I love the water in Scotland, went on holiday a few years ago when my sons were teenagers, one of them had a touch of acne, wasn’t on any treatments for it at the time but probably should’ve been, he’d had a bout of it a year or so previously and was prescribed treatment from the GP which did clear it up but it came back - anyway - after just 4 days of bathing and drinking the water up there we were astonished at how his spots had started to clear, it was amazing, he hadn’t been using any medication or off the shelf creams, nothing - so we concluded it must’ve been the water, his skin was so much better all the time we were there. Sadly when we returned home they did come back. He grew out of them as he got older and no longer has skin problems so all is good.
I love a good cup of tea. Usually buy yorkshire tea. I could tell the difference by colour. 😀 Great video gareth. Strong tea with no sufar for me please😀
I get my teabags for free. There's an Ikea store ten minutes away from me. I go in with my Ikea family card, get a free drink, grab a handful of teabags and bring them home. Same with the sugar sachets. And toilet rolls. Take an empty toilet roll card, go in the loo, decant what you need.
for me its yorkshire tea 5 teabags in a pint mug. pre heat the mug by swilling some boiling water in the mug discard the water drop in your teabags fill the pre heated mug with boiling water leave to stew for 3 mins then add milk.... thats the way I like my cuppa a hot mug of tea
I always thought the cheaper tbags were the sweepings so bloody ell, what catagory do we put these in? 🤔😄 I'd use them though coz I'm a total peasant! 🤪🙄
I was lucky 80 Tetley for 65pence at Tesco on offer today , i would definitely pay the £2 regular price as that cheap stuff is like for WW3 survival not for everyday Tea drinking lol
Buy PG Tips for my Husband. I don't drink tea. Like coffee make my own blend Nescaf'e with Lidl's Bellarom Gold Blend. Put 50/50 in a jar mix it up and voilà . Coffee that's not bland nor bitter.☕
Gareth, I put all my Tea bags in a Harrods Tea tin so it always tastes good to me ! 😂 PG Tips, Tetley's, Typhoo, Brooke Bond, Yorkshire Tea all very good. Never tried the Value Economy Tea and your review told me all I need to know, so thank you ! Great review ! 🫖🍵😉
Great review Gareth ! Could you do a comparison of a few tea brands ? I’ve been pg tips up till now, but just switched to twinnings everyday tea after trying a cup at someone’s house ! All the best Gavin 👍
As a child I can remember having a tea caddy dispenser on the kitchen wall and if you new anyone that bought tea bags they were posh..and if they had a door bell and phone they were really posh😀😀😀😀
my favourite tea is Twinnigs tea pyramid English breakfast they are expensive :( but sometimes the supermarkets do the discounts but even so they are still expensive £3 discounted usally around £5-£6 but they are really diffrent you can tell thier diffrent by just looking at the cup it goes orangy red its very high quality tea :) perfect for a breakfast morning and i find it gives me more of a energy boost than other brands i occasionaly buy sainsburys red label too (saves money) but i do love a good twinnigs tea again its always THE PRYAMID ENGLISH BREAKFAST
Have tried it not my cuppa tea 😛 I tend to drink Yorkshire Gold tea which is really expensive compared to this but something you need to treat yourself.
I love Tetley like you,, and brew for about 5 minutes. I love strong tea. But I know people who like their tea weak, so Just Essentials might be okay for some. Also, as others have said, Just Essentials for a very tight budget, just brew for longer, still a cuppa. ☺
well i will give it to asda the cheap tea bags are great thay taste like tea and its great now asda is bring back the old brands of what it used to sell much much better now well done asda! and thank you for the videos.
I'm with you Gareth. The stronger flavour teas I much prefer. I'll Double Up the weaker tea bags if I have too. Our Coles supermarket has a brand exclusive to them, Queen Victoria Tea and it's now my preferred brand of tea (Extra Strong). Did you have a 'Billy Tea' when you were here in Australia? Best way to brew tea 🇭🇲. Cheers Gareth ☕
Oh I'd love to visit Yorkshire and see the tea fields where they grow the Yorkshire tea. Maybe you could visit & show us footage of you finding the Yorkshire tea fields?
I'm a tea belly and personally I can tell straight away if it's cheap tea. Like you said Gareth it's not horrible, but I'd much prefer Yorkshire tea or Tetley
Why is there a difference between the taste of Budweiser bought from the main supermarkets such Tesco Asda etc compared against Lidls. The same branded lager from Lidls tastes far inferior. It’s as if they get an inferior product from same supplier. Keep up the good work
For me, tea is something I'd pay a little more for to get a higher quality. Tea is decently cheap, I can afford to splash out on a named brand, I do save in other areas so that I can enjoy 1 or 2 named brand items
Prefer loose tea. My favorite is the Asda own loose tea - prefer it to all the more expensive teas - Tetley, PG tips, Yorkshire etc. More expensive than tea bags but £1.20 for 80 cups is still pretty cheap.
Everybody likes a nice cuppa but we can't go back to the days of The Happy Shopper. Tea is one item you should never skimp on as you only get what you pay for.
I can’t get any of these brands in my country, but I just want to say your accent is very nice and clear to understand. What part of Uk is your accent ? Nice video 👍
Nice to see you again Gareth, I have been poorly so not been on You Tube for a while so I'm catching up with my fave channels, have I missed anything important ? Haha, Anyway good to be back.I'm drinking Aldi tea have at the moment but I'm always up for a change,Cheers ☺
I use loose tea made in a teapot, and use Yorkshire Tea for a good strong Assam and can get two small pots of tea out of a good scoop of loose tea, otherwise I use a Twinings blend for English Breakfast Tea and Darjeeling and if I'm being really fancy I use my independent tea merchant for a local blend, it is rather expensive because of the inflated price for the tourists. Honestly give these people a decent pot of tea and some cake in a tea shop and their like cats around cat nip. The tea shop staff call it the Downton Abbey effect, still it's good for the local economy.
We buy Tetley tea bags but sometime ago we found the bags fell apart in the cup! Naturally I got the blame for stirring too hard! Well I took note to be gently not to break them but they still fell apart! I sent an email to them about their bags falling apart! No answer was the stern reply!

Keep up the entertaining and informative clips pal 👍🏻
Brilliant Mark, thank you and all the best to you and your parter. 👍👍
Organic Clipper tea bags.. Or Dorset teabags.. 👍
LOVE the Organic Clipper tea! Strong (but not too strong), malty, refreshing, perfect!
Cheers Don thank you
I sometimes buy the just essentials tea bag, I actually prefer them to many other brands. I once made a quiche using only essentials apart from the bacon. It was delicious, I served it to my fellow students at my computer class and they all said it was lovely. For only a few pence they sure are good!!!!
Wars have been fought over Tea Gaz!!!You could end up starting something here 😆
Haha yes 🤣👍
They are really good instructions, especially the tip to boil freshly drawn water, it really does make a difference
We have these now, thats when they are on the shelf, I have my tea fairly weak so they
are spot on for me
Spot on Dave
I was the one that recommended this one
Thanks for doing it
Your welcome thank you very much
@@BaldFoodieGuy No Problem :)
To my horror I heard they put coffee in bags . No whatever next . Only tetley for me . Great reveiw this essential stuff seems to be catching on thou. Keep em coming gaz can you do mince pies as I love em 😋
Cheers pal
Yeah, I learnt also it's one area I won't scrimp on. I can't sacrifice a good brew ☕
Milk in after tea bag removal and squeeze. That fat in the milk will otherwise be drawn to bag perforations and clogg up.
Tea, is a drink I can't do without. Have a lovely Bank Holiday x
cheers Mary you too
You get different grades of tea, so it's more likely that the smaller holes in the cheaper teabag is because the tea is more like tea dust!!
Cheers James
@@BaldFoodieGuy not having a dig mind, if you haven't got much then something is better than nothing. Years back a friend of mine would buy what was then called "no frills" tea bags, think there was a shop with the name "no frills" and everything was branded as such.....literally the cheapest tea bags you could buy and for good reason, they were pretty awful lol!
@@luvuforeverjames yes I remember no frills James.
Yorkshire tea is my second fav as I like my tea 💪 strong 😊
Great review 👍🏻 but got to be Yorkshire tea for me 😊 nothing compares from the ones I've tried, Tetley, typhoo Aldi ect , Yorkshire tea is on the expensive side but we'll worth it ✌️♥️
Thank you
Cheers Jeff, thank you pal. Yes like strong tea too. Take care, Gareth
Co op 99 for me, cheap and the best in my opinion. My grandparents wouldn't drink anything else. If you're skint this would definitely do!
Me too
I like Twinings Strong English Breakfast on a 2 min brew myself, but they are expensive af... I've had cheaper supermarket tea bags and like you say brew a little longer and totally drinkable.
Yes I agree. It’s a real full bodied tea, delicious. It’s on offer at sainsbury’s at the moment, £3 for 80.
Cheers Jason, great comment thank you 👍👍
Great review! Bottom line is no tea or cheap tea, cheap is better than none.
Cheers Andy
If you haven't yet, give the just essentials sausages a try, frozen section £1.21 for 20 and we all preferred them over Richmond and some proper sausages too. Just a good simple sausage the kids will eat and does its job in bangers and mash with some gravy :)
Thanks for the video as always!!
Thank you will check them out
Yes they are nice for cheap sausage. Never liked Richmond's, don't know why
Let's face it, ANYTHING is better than Richmond sausages 🤮 even my dog turns her nose up at those😂😂😂
I will definitely give those budget sausages a try. 😊
Thank you
Ahhh Tetley!
Haha cheers pal
Ha ha, that gave me a laugh 🤣 she feels the same way about tea as I do 😄
I miss using the real rea leaves but the seem hard to find nowadays and the leaves left a mess but I put tea bags into my compost bin. I do use a teapot and often use a cheap one and a Yorkshire and blend it myself. Keep up the comparisons.
Thank you
When I first went down to England from Scotland and first tried the water I spat it out thinking there was something wrong with it! The degree of limescale in the kettle was horrendous! I’m so pleased we have pure water in Scotland and I’m certain that the impurity of English water affects the taste of the tea!
Yes depending on where in England the water differs
Yep same here. Water around Gloucester is the worst I've had. God knows what's in that stuff those guys drink. Canny beat Scottish water imo.
@@allygilmour6182 I was in Norwich! Don’t misunderstand me, I loved Norwich!
@@Early100 Thanks for telling us about this. I’m pleased it’s cleared up. It’s mainly a teenager’s problem?
Who else watched this whilst drinking a lovely cup of tea :)
haha cheers
I love a good cup of tea. Usually buy yorkshire tea. I could tell the difference by colour. 😀
Great video gareth.
Strong tea with no sufar for me please😀
Thank you
I get my teabags for free.
Cheers John, we drink Yorkshire
Will swap a few things in my shopping basket ,but never my tetley tea x
I always thought the cheaper tbags were the sweepings so bloody ell, what catagory do we put these in? 🤔😄 I'd use them though coz I'm a total peasant! 🤪🙄
I heard same about cheap tea bags being sweeping ups lol 😆 Xxx
I was lucky 80 Tetley for 65pence at Tesco on offer today , i would definitely pay the £2 regular price as that cheap stuff is like for WW3 survival not for everyday Tea drinking lol
Buy PG Tips for my Husband. I don't drink tea. Like coffee make my own blend Nescaf'e with Lidl's Bellarom Gold Blend. Put 50/50 in a jar mix it up and voilà . Coffee that's not bland nor bitter.☕
Cheers
Gareth, I put all my Tea bags in a Harrods Tea tin so it always tastes good to me ! 😂 PG Tips, Tetley's, Typhoo, Brooke Bond, Yorkshire Tea all very good. Never tried the Value Economy Tea and your review told me all I need to know, so thank you ! Great review ! 🫖🍵😉
Haha I like your thinking 😂👍
usually buy Scottish blend when on promo but I prefer Yorkshire tea
Great review Gareth !
Could you do a comparison of a few tea brands ?
I’ve been pg tips up till now, but just switched to twinnings everyday tea after trying a cup at someone’s house !
All the best Gavin 👍
Cheers Gavin, thanks pal.
Adding milk with the teabag still in the cup ☕🥛😱👍
Yes, I give mine a good squeeze and then add the milk.
I know!! Don't know why but was horrified when I seen Gaz doing that. 🤣
@@steviep730 At least the milk did not go in first, I have been presented with that, YUK.
As a child I can remember having a tea caddy dispenser on the kitchen wall and if you new anyone that bought tea bags they were posh..and if they had a door bell and phone they were really posh😀😀😀😀
Got to be Yorkshire Tea for me even tho I’m from Lancashire 😃
my favourite tea is Twinnigs tea pyramid English breakfast they are expensive :( but sometimes the supermarkets do the discounts but even so they are still expensive £3 discounted usally around £5-£6 but they are really diffrent you can tell thier diffrent by just looking at the cup it goes orangy red its very high quality tea :) perfect for a breakfast morning and i find it gives me more of a energy boost than other brands i occasionaly buy sainsburys red label too (saves money) but i do love a good twinnigs tea
again its always THE PRYAMID ENGLISH BREAKFAST
Cheers pal
Have tried it not my cuppa tea 😛 I tend to drink Yorkshire Gold tea which is really expensive compared to this but something you need to treat yourself.
I love Tetley like you,, and brew for about 5 minutes. I love strong tea. But I know people who like their tea weak, so Just Essentials might be okay for some. Also, as others have said, Just Essentials for a very tight budget, just brew for longer, still a cuppa. ☺
Cheers pal
well i will give it to asda the cheap tea bags are great thay taste like tea and its great now asda is bring back the old brands of what it used to sell much much better now well done asda! and thank you for the videos.
Cheers John, all the best
GOOD MAN, WE DID NOT ANALYZE COMPARE.
GREAT DURING TOUGH TIMES THESE DAYS.
thanks 😊
I think I would give up anything rather than decent tea. A teapot is a much more economical way: 2 cups( not mugs) from 1 decent tea bag.
Oh I'd love to visit Yorkshire and see the tea fields where they grow the Yorkshire tea. Maybe you could visit & show us footage of you finding the Yorkshire tea fields?
Ha ha can I go 🤣🤣👍
@@BaldFoodieGuy I think you should. A tour of the Yorkshire Tea fields should make a interesting video.
Keep up the good work
thanks 😊
Great review. Tried the Aldi Diplomat Decaff Tea, pleasantly surprised 👍
Great to hear!
For me, tea is something I'd pay a little more for to get a higher quality. Tea is decently cheap, I can afford to splash out on a named brand, I do save in other areas so that I can enjoy 1 or 2 named brand items
thanks
Tetley's definitely my favourite.
Prefer loose tea. My favorite is the Asda own loose tea - prefer it to all the more expensive teas - Tetley, PG tips, Yorkshire etc. More expensive than tea bags but £1.20 for 80 cups is still pretty cheap.
Cheers Steve
Has to be Tetley's for me cannot compromise on that
Tea is one thing i can't compromise on it's Tetley for me.I wanted to try Yorkshire but the price nearly gave me stroke.Great vid mate.
Cheers Rip
Everybody likes a nice cuppa but we can't go back to the days of The Happy Shopper. Tea is one item you should never skimp on as you only get what you pay for.
I can’t get any of these brands in my country, but I just want to say your accent is very nice and clear to understand. What part of Uk is your accent ? Nice video 👍
Cheers, Cumbria
Lived all over country and abroad and different water needs different teabags, my hubby likes pg myself tetley. But tend to get the offers if can
Nice to see you again Gareth, I have been poorly so not been on You Tube for a while so I'm catching up with my fave channels, have I missed anything important ? Haha, Anyway good to be back.I'm drinking Aldi tea have at the moment but I'm always up for a change,Cheers ☺
glad you are back on your feet, hope you are ok
I know nothing about tea brands, I think we have either tetley or pg tips in the house, no idea if that's good but it's good enough for me :)
I always drink Tetley. I have been told I like it best.
The tea shop staff call it the Downton Abbey effect, still it's good for the local economy.
thanks Howard
Mate you always cheer me up, absolutely cracking videos! Any chance you could compare tolberone with the pound land twin peaks?
Cheers James
Yes I tried asda teabags and they are just fine 🙂
My choice of tea is Lyons gold blend. It can't be bet. I have to admire Asda though, making tea that families on a tight budget can still afford.
I often cut the tea bags open, and put leaves in a pot.
We buy Tetley tea bags but sometime ago we found the bags fell apart in the cup! Naturally I got the blame for stirring too hard! Well I took note to be gently not to break them but they still fell apart! I sent an email to them about their bags falling apart! No answer was the stern reply!
I Remember No frills Tea Bags you had to use Four to get a decent cuppa..LOL
Ii hear the asda essentials teabags are quite good 😃👌👏🏻👏🏻
Awesome review
Thank you
Tetley or P&G, both of them are the best for me.
YORKSHIRE tea the best be it teabags or loose tea
The rest have no comparison that’s my opinion.
I couldn’t compromise on tea
