So weird how Eminems accent has almost completely disappeared. It's crazy.
Alexus N' Roses He forced the accent back then. If you listen to his interviews around the 2000s, he sounds similar to what he does here.
Music wise, he stopped using the accents too. Look at toy soldiers for example where he was rapping more seriously. (which he also lowers the tone of his voice in this video to that exact one when the topic was on "who is he gonna be on the album"). Some of the voice editing is also present in his newer material at certain points but he used it a lot back then.
When he performs live (depending on the song) you can still hear hints of the accent here and there.
