@@MostafaElSakari I totally get where you're coming from and I used to think the exact same way. I live out in the country and there are so many farms around me that offer cheap or even free eggs from rescued hens. The more I began to look into it though I discovered some things that were unsettling to me. Hens naturally only lay eggs about every 25 days. When they are taken away from them it creates an urge to lay more. The strain of this is really painful on hens and hurts them physically every time. It also takes up much of their own calcium and other nutrients. The chickens are often weak because of this. They are also more likely to get ovarian cancer. Even if they don't get ovarian cancer, however, it is common that they died at least two years early. Naturally, hens are supposed to eat their own eggs if they are not fertilized to get back some of the nutrients. This might seem kind of crazy the some, that I would care down to every single detail. However, I made a decision that I valued life above taste. Not trying to be preachy, but I do think it's something that everybody should look into ❤

@@harri7014 read about "In vitro fertilization" or IVF, it is not the same as the experiment with the chick, but basically it is fertilization outside the human body. People do this if they have problem getting fertilized, due to sperm count, blocked ovaries etc. The lab-fertallized embryo goes back in the uterus of the mother to grow and develop, but the baby doesn't develop outside the body, like the chick. As far as I know, you can perform IVF on any animal.

Nah. It’s amazing, but imma still eat my tendies
I'm not put off eating eggs.
Eggs found in stores aren't fertilized. It doesn't grow into a chicken unless it's fertilized. The egg in this video is *technically* a zygote, not an egg.

It is wonderful how such beautiful life can grow out of almost thin air
Sperm and eggs are NOT thin air.
@@endmysuffering2925 I'm really sorry if a simple mistake offended you. I'm not a scientist, so I wouldn't know. And, of course I didn't literally mean thin air. I wont make the same mistake again, thank you for pointing out my mistake. :)

I thought you just have to smash them on the ground for a small chance to spawn a chicken?!?
😂
That method is only to stop lower level players from grinding eggs to get them early. When you get the scientist job then you can grow them in a cup like this
🤣🤣🤣🤣
That costs a lot of eggs tho, ull need to mine some gold.
Same dude, I’ve been playing way too much Minecraft lately.
This should be an experiment in all schools around the world. It would teach science and encourage dialog about the conundrums of ethics and philosophy. I loved the video, thank you so much.

Damn, I will never feel that joy I used to feel while eating eggs.
In most of the cases you eat eggs that aren’t fertilised and would never became a chicken.
hard rock 🤣🤣
Most of the eggs available for eating are unfertilized. Hens are kept alone so they don't get a chance to have relations with a cock.
unless the place that the eggs came from had a roster you should not be eating a chicken
I feel better now
That was spectacular. This is an awesome demonstration, not only because we're able to see the process, but also because it adds to the narrative of growing humans in an artificial womb.
This shows how beautiful actually life is!
Can you imagine all your brothers and sisters needing to do all that hard work needing to break a shell and you were just released without having to do anything
When the chick “came out of the egg” it looked so confused as to why it’s spent already
I love this, oh my god. Thank you so much for making this
Probably the most wonderful video on UA-cam.
This was a really great experience for me cuz I've been wanting to see this since i was a kid! When it's tiny heart began to beat I felt so happy! This was a magical experience thank you for the video! 😁💖
After watching this video my mind tell me to stop eating chicken..
The eggs you eat are not fertilized. They won't hatch
@@gustavoguti27 in the egg industry chicks are bred and the male chicks are ground alive or suffocated minutes after birth
I wish eggs were a harmless industry they are not
And good on you, chicken is not necessary, you'll feel better not eating them. I stopped eating chicken two years ago and it truly is the best decision. I feel a lot happier knowing I did that
The World Kate Sees If you don’t want to support that just buy eggs from a local free range farm

*OMG I never thought this was possible*
Lovely and informative video 😍
Well, every species as far as we know has a possibility for this to be able to do, we done it on humans, chicks and more.
Anime is trash and so am I. Wait, what do you mean we've done it on humans.
