1. Parvathy or WCC alone cannot be held responsible for cleansing the industry. 2. Why is Bagyalakshmi placing the responsibility back on the oppressed gender? 3. It’s those in positions of power who should be fighting for and giving a voice to minorities. Instead, here we have a group of women fighting for themselves. How easy it is to dismiss them. 4. Personally, I’m glad this is being discussed in the national media, with our women speaking up on national channels. We can take pride in the fact that it’s the Malayalam industry that, while reluctant to address and clean up its own issues, is now beginning to confront them rather than just surviving in the status quo. 5. hello friend, i like watching your videos ..request if you could keep your scope wider!! Most of your videos are around vloggers or movies. My view around this whole wcc/amma thing is a bit different.. I guess some of the new gen artists are looking at transforming the culture, which is ideal and has to be supported. Having said this some of these practices followed in movie industry has history attached to it, there is no point going back and digging those wounds - its past and it can't be fixed. People like Parvathy, Geetu etc are newers, educated - criticising their predecessors or colleagues who do not have or had exposure to such facilities and money would obviously do mistakes (its again a very relative word) and they should rather fight for the system to be fixed. For Eg: before "Sati" was abolished, people didnt go gunho on the specific people who praticed, however it was the system the fought against. If you look at it deeply, the Hema commission refers quite a lot of issues , not just sexual advances!! - Why are these activists not talking much - my take is they dont get noticed if they talk about other stuff Here the approach they are taking is to name and shame people by tickling the sexual emotions of people as a whole. Seeing this approach, i doubt their intentions. With this level of criticism and aggression, they should stay out of this industry and fight - not from within!!!
