I'm 62 years old and after listening to this divine wisdom by father Savvas, l realized l was sadly mistaken, literally my entire life by doing both; Giving endless praise and compliments to others thinking it would help their confidence in addition to being liked by them. Also feeling sorry for myself to satisfy my vainglory. I thank God that l was led by God's grace to hear this and understand what l was doing was actually distancing my self and others away from God rather than bringing them closer to God. Everything we do that benefits us is because of the good grace if God, for we can do absolutely nothing without him.
