- This is the fifth session in the third series of Book Club with Sarah Sati. During this session, Sarah will read from chapter five, offering guidance, clarification, context, and precious time for practice and application of the teachings into lived experience. In the third series of Book Club, Sarah Sati works with the text Stages of Meditation by the Dalai Lama and Kamalashila.
This book is an important guide to understanding the gradual path to awakening mind and connecting to compassionate thought. Through the study of this text, practitioners will deepen their capacity for insight and wisdom. Book Club is an opportunity to look deeply into a spiritual text using a Western perspective. Each session includes a practice opportunity, reading, synopsis of reading, and optional practice homework. It is not necessary to own the book yourself, just show up to the sessions and enjoy listening as you allow your mind and body to integrate what you hear at it's own pace.
