Will feasibility of unscheduled islanding in most cases be dependent on predetermined load shedding algorithms? I’m asking about facilities such as medical centers.
Unscheduled islanding would be the system running on backup (aka microgrid). I imagine (and hope!) that medical centers would get priority during outages for getting "off" the island and back on to the main grid
