Seeing those long string of motorcycles makes me think of alpine ski schools.

@@motomogulYou need to try it. I often tell my non motorcycling friends that riding a bike is similar to downhill skiing.

just back from 23 days in France and Spain 40 degrees down by Malaga. Sea sickness like a date with the devil if you get it bad doesnt affect me on small fishing boats, but on a big ferry I get just like you have been you have all my sympathy. Looks like you had a good ride to the hotel we had 3992 mls of roads like that up and down so many mountains and only one toll fee for crossing a bridge 40 cents. Have a great time Jack and do some chilling.🙂👍
Wow! That sounds like an epic journey! I’m the same on small boats, something to do with vision and spatial awareness I think, being able to see the horizon. The smell of diesel fumes on deck didn’t help 🤢 I’ve already bought seasickness tablets ready for next year 😂🏍️☀️👍

Nice video. I cycled a lot of that route a couple of years back. Stunning scenery. Took a while before I realised you were on a Richi Vida tour. I'm about to organise a trip to the Picos for a few mates. Probably about 7. I think you had 16 on your trip. Great roads and great weather, apart from the crossing. What more do you need. I'm lucky being a ex trawlerman. Never been seasick, but I know it can be extremely debilitating. Not nice. Top stuff.
Thanks Rob. 7 sounds like a good number for group riding. I did find it difficult to get to know many of the guys. Trawlerman sounds like the ideal practice requirement for that particular ferry. I found that the way the swells met the ferry (from the rear and to the side) made the effects much worse 🤢
Look at Brittany Ferries Bike Tours... used them 4 times for Spain & 3 times for France since Oct 2020 for tours as a couple, 2 couples & just 3 of us on 2 bikes*. They do the hotels cheaper and discount the ferry as a tour bundle. So long as you spend a min 3 nights in their hotels you can then you can expand the trip to elsewhere & you can change hotels from those on the tour. The website is a bit clunky and they don't do a brochure anymore but luckily SWMBO still has a 2021 brochure and we use that when talking to BF. Good luck... * When the 3 of us went to Spain in Oct 2021we paid around £1200 for 5 nights B&B in a double and single room with 2 bikes and 4 berth outside cabin. A guy next to us in the queue waiting to board at Portsmouth paid £900 for a return ferry for just him and his bike.

It was a mix of both. Richy is the organiser and a few of the guys I’d ridden with before but some were new to me. They were all a great bunch 👍
