Eric Carr, very much talent, very great showmanship, and enthusiasm, with the ability to WOW the audience leaving us wanting more and more! My opinion, the best KISS drummer ever! R.I.P. ERIC CARR! Eric Singer; very good; very talented, and very precise with his performance! However, Eric, watching you play looks more like a job than a man enjoying playing drums for the “Hottest Band In The World”! I know you have the talent, the ability, and hopefully the desire to compliment the group and let yourself go and play like I believe you can if you just loosen up and be yourself and play those drums like it is your final performance ever! I have always preferred the original 4 in the band,i saw the reunion of the original and the first farewell as well and also the psycho circus tour,Personally i think they are done in my book.

All his work before kiss was forgettable to me and I bought all those sabbath lita ford badlands albums. I could recognize Tommy Lee in an isolated track without other music in a second. If I didn’t read the credits on the albums I would have no ideas who was playing. When they replaced Tommy in motley Crue w the great Randy Costello on drums the whole band sounded different as an example of what I’m talking about. Also Eric Singer made Alice Cooper albums like Brutal planet sound weak . I’m so glad Cooper has Glen Sobel now . I’m not saying Eric Singer is not technically proficient he just doesn’t hit the drums hard ,even Phil Rudd from AC/DC plays harder or Nico in maiden )and has not a lot of personality in his playing except for some moments.
Although Eric's had to slow down and dumb down his playing now for kiss over the last five to seven years make no mistake in the 90s and the early 2000s he was a top-notch rock drummer go back and watch his drumming with battlelands Alice Cooper and watch kiss video from Revenge Kiss Alive 3 and Carnival Souls the dude was badass
