I remember this one. I remember being amazed by the visuals at the time. Handling wasn't the best, but forced myself to adjust just because of how good it looked :)
Eu Acabei de Comprar esse Maravilhoso Jogo Top Gear Everdrive do N64 Que eu Tanto Queria Para a Minha Coleção. Gosto Bastante mesmo de Jogo e também as Grandes Trilhas Sonoras Soundtrack Top. A Jogabilidade Boa esse Game. Amo os Jogos do Nintendo 64.
Grindstone did the music for this game, they don't exist anymore but I'm lucky enough to have their album still on my comp so let me know if you want it.
@Foxtropics Yes indeedy !! My only gripe about it, is when you use Hood camera the gauge disappears. Amazing great little racer. I wished they'd allow you to do your own controls. How I hate downshfiting with Z, almost every racer makes you downshift with Z and not L !!
I think the game was mostly graphically focused on instead of playability. As you can see, the game has stunningly solid frame rates and wonderfully designed graphics and other visual features, however it's lacking deeply in design and playability. It's a transcendent above other racers and it clearly is N64's most beautiful racer for it's time.
How did these random online computer games use to be so amazing? Like obviously it's not visually appealing in this case but the mechanics are amazing. Where has the time gone
as a collector i know the huge amount of space just to collect the main popular machines, never mind acetronic, memotech, dragon 32, enterprise 64, oric atmos. its clear the anti emulation brigade has never thought about even the praticallity of owning all the bulky hardware for every machine & every game they may wish to play. never mind the cost, the atari jaguar version of rayman gets rated as one off the best versions, it sells for well over £50, a good copy of alien vs predator can hit £100
Ahhhh memories..i remmber wel i did a on late game championship i had my nice Mclaren f1, what i thought was the fastest car in the game.... but on the last race i started to notist something when i was second place the guy ahead of me was waaaay faster, when i came closer... i could not believe my eyes a Taco with tomato wheels.. it was insane fast.. i thought the game was trolling me at that point lol. later it appears to actualy be a playable bonus vehicle.
another point so limited are games like total carnage, battle sphere, phaze zero for the atari jaguar your chance off finding a copy or even affording one to play is very slim. also there is new software coming out all the time for these old formats and since the cost of distrubuting hard physical and expensive cartridges is punitive to these often enthusiast programmers. the only practical way is to play them is through a emulator
Guys can you help me out? I remember this racing game on N64 where on a track there's a tunnel with a key inside a bubble. Last time I played this game was like 17 years ago
@kungfuninja55 hmm. Vipers aren't great racing cars. Unless you're drag racing, or driving an embanked oval such as Daytona. They're all power and weight, and very little downforce. What you make up on the straights is often waaay more than lost on the corners.
you wouldnt have known it was an emulator if it wasnt for the cursor arrow. emulation is fine. its a better more practical & cheaper solution to the one i have which is own most of the consoles & computers ever released, my cupboards are full & there's stuff all around the house. a lot of the time emulations better, hardware revisions of real hardware have bigger problems than emulation ie renegade will play on atari st but not a ste, bombjack will play on a zx spectrum +2 but not a +2a
All the childhood memories :-)
i have so many special memories with the n64…this game is one of them.
My first N64 game, I played for a loooot of time. Lot's of good memories.

awesome music and makes use of the RAM pack for "high-res"-graphics
this is one of my all time favorite n64 racers...the stupid cars at the end make it even better...i dont understand why people hate this game..
I remember this game being awesome.

You use some emulator?
Thanks

Play NetPlay with me!!!!
Project 64 can enhance the games graphics further, to n64 cannot. I don't think i want to be on ebay if your on there.
PLEASE link me to the .z64 file you're using in your emulator. I've been looking for a working rip of this game for AGES!
What emulator Did you use?
he won´t play it ;)
well it won't play on emulators anyway ;)
lol
Why are you playing it without the music? The music makes it better man
Jaden Ludahl I was hit with a copyright strike the last time I uploaded a similar video with Top Gear Overdrive's music unfortunately.
Oh I see. Yeah my Dad probably wouldn’t want that to be put on there without permission
Lmao. I don't think he cares.
Horrible
Can you elaborate?
