I started watching you a while back because you started with “keeping things out of the landfill” tag line. I REALLY appreciate what you do for so little payoff. Thank you!
That's a lot of work for not a lot of money. The amount of scrap metal they got in 8 hours was a sign of how many scrappers are out there. Thanks for the video and the education.
Hey Taco thanks for your time in making these vids. Found your page a few months back you are by Far my favorite channel to watch. Love your landfill picks. They way you address us viewers is what makes you so watchable.. Thanks again James
I figured out how manage to do everything you do every day with filming, editing, posting, collecting and scrapping. Taco Stack(s) can only mean you are twins! I can't figure any other way you accomplish what you do EVERY day. Thanks for keeping all of us intrigued by what you find and sharing it with us.
Scrapping away! Used to have a scrapper we saved metal for, where we used to live! Makes you feel good about saving the environment! Blessed and safe days!
If I went there i would run over a bolt or nail every time. Never failed after a hurricane I would find a roofing nail on A1A. Glad your back to the scrap yard. Sorry you hurt your back. Thanks for sharing
Don't watch this guy and not even bother to give him a thumbs up. And don't watch him and give him a thumbs down. He posts great videos and he is a pleasure to watch. Just saying in my humble opinion!
I was so sad when you wrecked the cake cover! I would like to find one. We had one when I was a kid. I do still have a miniature one with my toy dishes. I'm going to get it out and display it in my kitchen. Glad the scrap yards are open!
When I got married 29 years ago and my wife and I rented part of a duplex I used a rotary mower that I picked up at a yard sale. Though it took me a while longer than a power mower would have I have to admit I got a weekly workout with that thing. It's good to see you and Salsa are doing well. Enjoyed the little nostalgia trip and so keep on scrappen and pickin.
We totally salute you Taco, all the hard work you do to stop trash going to landfill is awesome, stay safe and all the very best from the UK near Liverpool
I love your yellow truck! My dad used to have a red Willis Jeepster not sure what year it is but I want to say 47 🤷🏼♀️ he sold it years ago to a friend and they still own it so I get to see it occasionally.
I made a good find last week, some brass ends on piping, I cut them all off and made around $12 just on that stop alone. Also found a nice metal wine rack that I sold for $25 at the flea market on Sunday. Not a lot of people yet, but they were buying, especially old tools and parts :)
On those sealed compressors, scratch the smaller "arm" that is painted black, or hit them with a magnet. A lot of times they are just painted copper and you can snap them off easy.
Taco, when you clip wires you can use them on appliances or other such items that are perfectly good except for frayed or damaged wires. I do this and saved lamps among other items. Just to let you know.

@@sbogart2004 Yep. There's one in the closet behind me right now, only the handle is a turned wooden acorn with oak leaves and acorns incised around the bottom edge. I died a little too when our dear Taco lopped off the handle of his cake cover. Auggh.
My grandfather would cut every other plastic on front of fan. He said more air. And I started looking at fans and too much blockage. Looking at one now that I should cut plastic. Unfortunately I was using one of my grandfather super sharp knifes last week. 5 stitches, he kept things neat and sharp. Lived to 102.. Ava in Georgia
You picked up that aluminum cake cover. I was so excited because my mom had one just like it.! Then you took a hatchet and wacked it, lol! I have my mom's so it wasn't too bad.
