Taco i think you mentioned nailing boards on your deck.. Im not a carpenter but i'm married to one. Use screws not nails. Nails will back out overtime. Thanks for letting us ride along with you..
I went with nails because removing the deck was fairly easy with nails in it, there were a couple boards with screws and boards were splintering and a pain to take out. I do agree with the nails popping up :(
Screws are great but guess what was used long, long before screws ...correct nails if you use galvanized deck nails ( spiral ) they last and are a real pain to get out even if you want to of course you young chaps probably have not used nails building a deck there are decks I built years ago that are still holding strong ...my deck is 30 years or so and no problems. Of course I probably will hear I don’t know what I am talking about but I have 55 years in home building and home remodeling
The magazine rack you've had before just had a handle. This one was a side table. I would want it to paint in a shabby chiq style. Great for small spaces! The iron hanger holds a kerosene lamp.
You know I watch these videos as much to see the homes, landscape, and green lawns. Love the space between homes. We retired to high desert form coastal no winter to freeze in winter and 100 degrees for 3 months in summer!
I burst out laughing when I saw the two grills standing side by side, anticipating your reaction. You did a good job getting them both in the van. No grill left behind!
Those heavy grills, "Gave me a whoopin' " you crack me up. And I do agree with Paul that you need to get a back brace and something for your wrist as well
Gave 12 years of my life to the auto parts sales industry, so the clutch disc, pressure plate, and disassembled starter gave me flashbacks! Thanks for the memories, Taco Stacks!
Wow lots of grills today! The white jewelry box my mom had one probably 1950 or 60s. Brought back memories to see that. Some nice old finds a good day!

@@hooper4581 IDK about the color, but you are correct in the fact that older Weber Genesis gas grills are sought after for the quality, and parts availability. I suppose the red ones may give people the clue that they are vintage since that color was fairly popular. In reality most Genesis grills produced from 1985 to the early 2000's all are pretty good since the design was basically the same all those years. That's still a pretty nice wooden jewelry box. I love that butterfly hose holder thing, it's so different than those bulky plastic ones that are so common today.
I just don't understand why you don't search more through the piles of stuff. You need to learn from Paper and Moose, she will search through bags! Great video as usual.

I always wondered why Taco finds so many grills. And doesn't try to sell them. Until today. Next door neighbor moved out. Left his grill. Underneath and to the side were piles of rust. Somebody had tried to move it and gave up. I took a close up look and the thing was entirely rusted out underneath. Upper part looked ok from a distance, but the rest was all rust. It was a Weber, which used to be a good brand. Not so much, along with all the rest.

FYI people walk in the street, especially in pairs, because it’s really hard on knees and hips to walk on uneven sidewalks.
What about, one walks behind the other? It's called consideration.
I noice the sidewalks around the three towns you go to are in really bad shape - are they ever fixed??
that would not hold up in court as a response to a jaywalking ticket
As well as being a trip hazard
Good point. I sometimes wish we has sidewalks in my neighborhood, but I never considered this issue.

You should have your “Taco Stacks” logo painted on the side of your van. Unless you want to remain incognito! 😂
Incognito.... 😂🤣😂 Taco Spy.....😉🇩🇰
I have always thought that the word incognito is a funny word, don't ask why.... maybe it's all the pictures you get in your mind....
That wood stand you picked up is a speakers podium I believe. Didn’t get a real good look at it. But I believe that’s what it is. Your day for grills.
Little black table would be good on your deck.. Bet Salsa will enjoy the deck. Careful with your back.
I like the logo and subscribe note painted in the cab. Good job.
I wish you would go through and show us all the items you picked up, there seems to be such an eclectic mix ! Interesting stuff, for sure! ✌🏼 Oh, and don’t throw away the old jewelry box, it wouldn’t be hard to clean it up. Someone would love it for sure!
what kind of camera stick are you using? To flip video around?
Thanks for the great video & taking us with you
I always wondered why Taco finds so many grills. And doesn't try to sell them. Until today. Next
door neighbor moved out.
1960’s Ford Falcon parts box. The carb is from a six cylinder and sells on EBay for parts for $50. The shifter would sell for the same. FYI
Is this Paul Jovalis in Sacramento? If so, you used to be my son Alex's soccer Coach a gazillion years ago! 🤣
