Ant and Dec played PJ and Duncan in a kids show called Byker Grove when they were young. They grew up to get into presenting and are one of the UKs most beloved TV presenters.
Yes, they're thin, disc-shaped, sponge cakes which are half-covered in chocolate. However, you'll often find them shelved with biscuits. The court case was important because (at least at the time) there's VAT on biscuits but not cakes.

It cracks me up that Jaffa was actually ruled on by a court. The whole "put what you hate in a room" game always made me shake my head in confusion. Like ...Or we could just say what we don't like? Seeing as there is no room and you are just doing the exact same thing lol Like what?
The "Room 101" concept is an homage to the George Orwell novel 1984, where the government has a "Room 101" that they use to break citizens who refuse to conform to the government's propaganda. So "Room 101" is used by the government interrogators ironically called "The Ministry of Love" to psychologically break people and the room is metaphorically seen as a place where "peoples hate and anger is kept". So the show just took that concept as a means for guests to talk about stuff that annoyed them or to publicly air out grievances (Phil Collins for example used some of his time on the show to respond to Oasis publicly criticizing him). It's easier to get people on to a show where it's based around an abstract concept to publicly complain, as opposed to getting them on to publicly complain with no gimmick.
@@SpeedBoost I knew of the origin. I guess I was just confused by the thinly veiled notions tha6t humans are ok with even if they are nonsensical. They are still saying the same thing. But because there is a room in there imagination it makes it ok. It should be ok to complain anyways! lol
That's hilarious!🤣 complaining about 'the kids these days'. Yeah, Tim Allen's stand up is not that good, not a bad actor but bad when he comes up with stuff on his own usually. Tim Allen started off as a coke dealer, got caught in a sting at an airport with an undercover cop then told the judge if he could get his life right he would like to be a comedian. LOL and his first role in a movie has a drug deal in an airport. He wasn't one of the main stars or anything but that is ironic. Don't bother watching his standup unless you want to see how boring it is. Might get a chuckle sometimes but ain't as good as the 90's old people thought. His whole thing is men know cars and tools and women don't.
Room 101 had to be 102 when Karl wants to get rid of slugs etc.don't forget you're 20 years in the past/future after the Ricky gervais show🙃welcome to the matrix😵

It should be ok to complain anyways! lol
2 birth means it’s 2 people wide like in a car your 2 a birth if one of you is in the driving seat and the other is in the passenger seat 😊
18:40 No turkey for Mandy.
Yippee! I'm the first today!! 🤣🤣 Thanks Mandy, have a great vacation and keep 'em coming.

Ricky referred to the caravan as being "two-berth", not two-birth. XD
Poe tay toe / Poh tah tow 🤪

I Hereby give permission for Mandy to have a week off & not post anything, just relax on the Beach !!!
🤭 Thank you very much Chris! 🤗✨️
Mandy, you do realise now that some people will be biting down on their finger to test your theory
Karl does get more loud and confident as time goes on
at the current rate you will encounter rockbusters in july.
Ahh great, plenty of time to get ready 😅
That's hilarious!🤣 complaining about 'the kids these days'. Tell me you're old without telling me you're old 🤣💜 no wait, you did say you're old!😂 also, if you want something new to watch, if you haven't seen it already, try Freaks and Geeks. Cult classic from the 90s. Only one season but an amazing cast all before they were famous.
Never heard of it! But will check it out! Thank you Steve! 🤗
Have a go of your 50 states when you have hit the bottle!
I hope you enjoyed Steve's cinema stories because he really wants you to hear them again at least two more times.

She for sure forgot to take her meds today
I really don’t like it when people say “They’re terrible at this!”. We’re still listening to their radio after 2 DECADES! They created some of the most memorable radio ever!
Mandy you should Google: 'karl pilkington pet hate' 😂
are you doing more taskmaster season 9 ?
WTH?? What did I do with your logo under the main pic... it's not there??? Oops! Apologies Mandy. I'll look into that. It is back for EP12 though, I just checked. Typo on Victor Meldrew too :)
Show was amusing - he isn't!
Paint it black?😂
Sorry but i have a very hard time believing he got kicked in the head at 6 by a horse that would have definitely done permanent damage
