    Hi, thanks for this video, very good. So each time you change out your lens if you want to use the camera, you have to calibrate it again each time? I was hoping it would save a settings setup or something for each "Laser" listed. I have a laser profile for each of my lenses. I don't see a way to save them individually if you want to use the same camera for all...

    • @LSEngraving
      @LSEngraving  7 місяців тому

      you can save the settings and it will stick with the device, and each different lens is a new device, LightBurn will automatically switch settings. I always verify before relying on the camera just in case.

    Good video, but I find a white background works better for the dot pattern.

      i can't argue, i haven't used white. :) i haven't had issues with black, yet. one thing for sure, either one are better than the honeycomb! haha!

    I thought the camera for lightburn had to be in a stationary position otherwise if you mount to the galvo head and make height adjustments , wouldn't that throw off all of your calibrations?

    • @LSEngraving
      @LSEngraving  6 місяців тому

      you calibrate it to the focal length of the lens, so you end up with a different alignment for each lens you use. if using the same lens, it would always be at the same height from the workpiece.

    Thank you for the video. I have two questions. The resolution is not the most optimal for work - is it 4K? and what camera degree is preferable I see from the seller 66, 76, 120 and 125 degrees

      Lightburn has a built in camera selector that will help you figure out the optimal field of view. i like the 8mp lightburn branded cameras. docs.lightburnsoftware.com/Camera/Selection.html

      no, as it is calibrated to a set distance from the lens

    Can you save the settings for each lens and retain that accuracy? Example-If I did that for my 110 and swapped to another lens, and then swapped back to the 110 would I need to recalibrate?

    • @LSEngraving
      @LSEngraving  Рік тому +1

      you would not as long as the camera stays in the same position, which it should with only a lens swap
