This week's RAW was the best RAW in 10 years. When were you going to fast forward? There was always something going on. Ongoing storylines. Things in the back. No stupid, well in the last there were, but they didn't make us watch a 3 segment Apollo Crews match. Just as I was about to fast forward that match, he cheated to win. So they're giving him a character. Like Eddie. He didn't need to cheat, but maybe if you're not cheating then you're not trying? We'll see how it goes.
I just wanna say... in 2003 I was in Ocala at Dory Funks and that's where I met my bff. He has had a solid career, earned the respect of his peers and best of all is a great great human being. He was in MLW during Bruce's reign and at their equivalent Royal Rumble event they put on in BK some time ago he was able to crash at my place in NYC instead of the hotel in New rochelle everyone else was at. While he says Bruce is a decent enough guy he said that Bruce was in charge of booking that Royal Rumble and that Bruce just completely ignored all the then concurrent storylines, not really featuring any of them for any spots in the rumble and that while the event was fun and a success etc the creative for the Rumble just made no sense at all from a booking standpoint. It's one small item of many to back up Brian's statement of Bruce being "creatively bankrupt"

The problem there is you have to be invited before you can just burst through the door and announce that you're here to save the day.
#BringBackCornette
@@michaelkaminski8339 true. even the kool aid man in the graphic was invited back. he didn't just break through and go oh yeahhh
Save? lol, save the WWE cuz other organizations like NJPW, for example, are killing it
@ShadowAngel Really? Wrestle kingdom 13 in 2019 drew 38,162. The G1 with ROH in Madison Square Garden drew a sold out 16,534. They undersold in some of their US dates, but that ranged from 2-4k each time. Far from dead.
Billy,
But my name's Bru-
IT DOESN'T MATTER WHAT YOUR NAME IS DAMMIT!!
One thing is universal after hearing so many different people talking about it: Bruce believed in the Red Rooster.
And I believe in the Easter Bunny.
Red rooster got burried into a locker by who....the Brooklyn brawler?
Lol
Prime time wrestling was dope
Hosted by gorilla and the brain
He was the cock of the flock lol..or whatever they tried to sell the gimmick as
I don't think Terry Taylor's career was ever the same after that stupid gimmick.
Remember when he came out to try to get Jim Ross to leave the announcers table and Ross said something to Taylor about being the Red Rooster? That was comedy gold.
Well Paul still has a job, that man always is the last survivor in any and all situation every since the days of ecw... Big ups too Paul Heyman for surviving in a world that doesn't want him but he's too dangerous of a mind to let another company get him 👍🏾
OOF about that HHH door.
Awesome Shoot Today Jim!!🙌🐐🐐
Heyman knows how to work internet marks like no other.
The most notable thing Heyman did while in charge of RAW was the Strowman-Lashley segment where Corey yelled “Holy shit!” That’s about it.
Took a year but Bruce is knocking on HHHs door
And Paul's door opened ....
Vince: How can I spite these ungrrrrrateful fans even morrrrre?
Prichard: Please Mr. McMahon sir, would you be ever so gracious as to hold my beer and show our peers how a real man holds a beer?
You know, where the hell is Dutch Mantell these days?
I HAVE to find that meme that Corny spoke about. That is fucking hilarious!
Just like he said yellow poke dots wasn’t a rib Prichard said and Virgil and I don’t know all he’s
Lied about.SMH
What?
And you know he lied how?
Just say it Jim, Bruce is a "yes man".
SmackDown ranked #1 in ratings for the key 18-49 demographic on network TV this week. SmackDown also ranked #1 in the 18-34 demo this week, for the fourth week in a row, and tied for #1 in the 25-54 demo with 20/20.
Smackdown has consistently been a solid show.
Popular crap is still crap.
It’s. Because it’s on fox, if they were both on usa the #s wud be very similar
@@fjccommish:🤔..... Ahhh....that is true..
@@Njbear7453 Is it? I just started watching again, but only Backlash 2020 & a few Raw segments. I was largely unimpressed, but haven't seen Smackdown yet
Jim Cornette is the greatest thing going in wrestling today. Awesome? YES. Sad? YESer
Bruce is just a yes man plain and simple and meltzer is a liar.
Paul Heyman definitely not feeling the brotherly love lately ...
Bruce Prichard is the typical yes man, Vince McMahon says jump, Bruce says how high.
I think Bruce does understand creative but I agree with Corny, he is where he's at because he understands what Vince wants and does his best to carry that out. It may not be popular but, that's the way of the world. His job is to support Vince's decision and vision regardless of if he agrees with it or not.
Ive barely watched any wrestling since the crowd went. Corny and Simon’s ups and downs saves me 6 hours a week and I don’t think I’m ever going back.
The fall of wcw put the wwe right back into the rabbit hole todays wwe reminds me of mid 90's wwe.
Bruce has been doing well on SD and he's one of the minds behind the Firefly Funhouse and The Fiend just like he was with The Undertaker.
No. That's all Bray Wyatt
Smackdown has been trash under him. It’s gotten worse.
First Bischoff, now Heyman! Not surprise I knew it wasn't going to last long. Anybody that gave Vince problems back in the day won't survive long. If Brock wasn't there Heyman wouldn't be there. Bad move Vince!
So many months later and as I predicted, things have gotten even worse.
It’s called a “YES” man or more accurately a “BROWN NOSE”, not someone who gets it! He was/is a yes man/brown nose cause he’s probably making a fairly large salary and doesn’t/didn’t want to lose it! He finally worked it too where it was him and Vince Mc calling the shots with him agreeing with VM on everything to keep that seat plus he more than likely has zero ideas himself! I would bet a million dollars that Bruce P would agree with what VM was saying then adding “that’s exactly what I was thinking or that’s what I was going to say Vince”!
WWE should of let Brother love become a Wrestling Manager he would of been good..
Is that artistic license or does Bruce really look that much like a flamin’ hot Cheeto? 😂
