Stanton Bikes - Stanton Switchback Gen 3 Tech Talk

- Back with another tech talk! This time on our brand new Switchback Gen 3.
This frame rails corners and descends like no other hardtail on the market. Expect to leave the abstract idea that “you’ll be faster on a full sus” behind you, as the new Switchback will have you leaving your full-sus in the garage!
The 415mm chain stay length plus the bottom bracket height, head angle and reach measurement gives you an amazingly responsive and agile ride.
The geometry of the Switchback Gen 3 has been optimised to help the rider feel confident on difficult, technical Enduro style terrain, while giving the ideal riding position to express your style and flare on the trail. The frame is designed to suit modern fitments such as a Stealth Dropper compatible seat tube and a 44mm head tube for tapered steerer compatibility and full internal top tube routing.
Available in 3 materials Reynolds 853, Stanton 4130 and 3AL-2.5V titanium

This got me more excited for mine, cant wait :)
Awesome!!!
I’m really into the slack line-gen-3 and its geometry. And I want ONE, but I have one question:
Could you fit an I.S.C.G mount to it if it’s a UK made frame?
Great video.. seriously considering getting one of these frames as an upgrade and moving my current components across. Do you know if either this frame or the switch9er will fit 27.5+ tyres (2.8")?
Hey man!! Yes it will work with some 2.8’s WTB is one we know for sure!
Will this fit me at 6'3" with long legs and arms? (18" size)
Looks mint, did I miss what travel fork this frame suits?
It’ll fit 120-160 with the ideal for all round use being 140
How does this compare to the slacksline?? Im on the fence between the two
The Switchback is a little longer and slacker. In short, the Switchback is a more aggressive trail bike than a Slackline
Looks good, where is the ti version made?
We made a few runs here then Covid made some big changes to the capacity to fabricate and process Ti (lock downs etc) so we had our guys in Taiwan who’s produced our Ti for 10yrs and is the supplier of all the tube we use for Ti here in the UK. We’re making the new UK Ti FS here and are making the odd hard tail here and there but currently no production. Hope that helps 😁👍🏼
I’d love one of these but at 6ft 5 not sure if it will be too small
Drop me and email, we have your size in the new Gen4 frames 😎👍
Bitchin
What’s the frame weight
That is one chopper
