ABOUT THE VOICE
The four-time Emmy-winning musical competition series "The Voice" returns September 19 with superstar Coaches Camila Cabello, John Legend, Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani and Carson Daly as host. The show's innovative format features four stages of competition: Blind Auditions, Battle Rounds, Knockouts, and Live Performance Shows.
In the Live Performance Shows, the top artists will compete against each other weekly during a live broadcast, and the television audience will vote to save their favorite artists. In the end, one artist will be named "The Voice" and receive the grand prize of a recording contract.

What I love about Blake is that he is often singing these songs that are really way out of his comfort zone but he always does a good job. You really have to give him credit for that AND he is the winningest coach on The Voice. (and yes I know he has been there longer that all the other judges but it's stiil impressive that he has won with artists from all different genres.)

This song is actually pretty suitable for all these coaches, which is rare. But it's totally in Gwen's wheelhouse, she nailed it.

@@AnutaTaylor-Joy This performance was recorded live, they practiced for 15 minutes before that. Gwen has no problem singing lives. She was the front of her band for 9 years performing anywhere from frat boys party, college shows, clubs, you name it. They wouldn't have made it if she can't sing live. And she sings all her background vocals on her own in studio, so she knows how to harmonize and stuff. She recorded and performed with legends like Dr. Dre, Prince, U2 and Sting.

Camila sounds smooth and those vocal runs wow! John vibed, meeting the melody with his suave tone. Gwen's tone adds a different layer of sound that is really cool and unique. Blake with his southern twang fits in really well. The friendship between John and Camila and Camila and Gwen is adorable. The chemistry between Blake and Gwen gawd damn, ELECTRIC!
