@@nickmyers8143 not necessarily. As dom mentions on some videos you could essentially save 5-10% operating costs just with the patented software “protocol” they have. That may not seem like much. But that’s a pretty big deal. For the very large social giants that could be 1-3 billion dollars.
According to most they’ve never been able to make a profit.. which is why you are now seeing Twitter and Meta recently approaching a more premium experience. They are only starting with the checkmarks, but let’s not kid ourselves. This doesn’t stop here, they’ll continue passing the cost to the users. When it becomes outrages, why pay for the ceo salary making 100m when you can be part of a community making money too. Twitter could profit from this too, IF they implement the right way. Something like Twitter on ICP would be a massive win for ICP imagine all the user coming to the blockchain. Twitter always has the largest social impact about crypto and blockchain
it would be a very smart move to save money and increase security
ICP is 10-15 years ahead of other projects, it so far ahead that few people really understand the biggest opportunity that will never come again so get into ICP and spread the word!

I have just learned about it and am incredibly surprised it is not more talked about.
A couple years at most, if they don’t hurry up and get their ecosystem going with dapps that draw in adoption then some other blockchain will eventually just make ICP irrelevant by copying them but already having an existing user base
They have patents
Watching this 1 year later, I think a lot of people just haven't seen the need to adopt ICP because it is too ahead of its time. Marketing and building in-demand products that leverages the ICP tech can help bring the adoptions and thankfully, ICP has been working on that with Ai, Utopia, Multi-chain inoperability, being a layer 2 for Bitcoin, Eth, and soon Solana! That's showing what your tech can do!

Why arent more people talking about icp? I often hear some of the biggest and best in the space in the same cliques like many of the iso 20022 coins but rarely have heard icps name

Now dfinity have got to build an ecosystem of dapps/projects/users...... We have no ecosystem on the IC as seen on CoinGecko..... all these other blockchains have projects with their own token and ecosystems within ecosystems which power the layer 1 blockchains token and its utility.
This is happening. Coingecko not a good source to measure an ‘ecosystem’ imo. SNS, direct BTC integration will accelerate project activity.
