Yes, I thought "that's Misha's voice". But voices tend to get higher when we cry, so it's understandable. Was a fitting goodbye to both Cas AND Misha, telling Dean AND Jensen how much he means to him.

that blood hand mark on Dean's jacket is a way of telling the viewers the first time Cas gripped Dean and raise him from perdition.
That was such an amazing thing to do. Reminded me of how they met and how the whole storyline was just dramatically improved.
I can only here raised him from perdition in a gravelly voice mocking Castiel's voice now.
Love is Love. It was a great scene to watch. He finally said how he felt about Dean since the beginning. Dean was always the favorite.

my heart broke, but in the end the love that an Angel had for human was a greater bond. Since most angels were total a-holes I always figure Cas would give himself to save his family. At first I thought he would sacrifice himself for his "son" Jack, but he did for his family.. This is what Cas was meant to do,
Love is love --expressed, defined, executed. The meaning may be interpreted different ways. The authentic relationship they have for real makes me think that came out in character play. They did outstanding!!! Whatever however forever.....love Supernatural style.

Too many plot holes im guessing here but what would have made this series so special is if in the very end it was Castiel being God the entire time!!! Its just mind-boggling to me how the writers have written Chuck this whole season and in season 14s finale. Cas was always about love and sacrifice and it just would have been so perfect if indeed he was God the entire time because thats what God is supposed to be about. Love!!!!
This scene was bugging me so much and i just realised its cuz of the unrequited love and no matter how happy cas feels... it feels broken and too sad to me
They wanted to give the perpetual pain on the but shippers a forced canon. I see it as an insult! Waiting at the last minute is a slap on the face. If only people could enjoy these shows without romanticist crap. These are not sopa operas. On the other hand, if Dean did not reciprocate, what's the use? They left the whole thing open to interpretation and as much as Misha wanted to give shippers their wish, if it's not announced by the main dudes, it's not canon. But whatever. Now people are shipping them in heaven. An asexual being for crying out loud.

I personally never wanted canon destiel since it ws already too late and it just wouldnt make sense at that point. And how they did it made noone happy. Not the shipper, the writers, the actors. Nothing. They just screwed this one up real bad. And as I said not only did they make it canon at the last second but made it unrequited as well so the pain was doubled
@@moonsaer if it was not reciprocal, to me is not canon. Dean never replied, never me roomed or again, it was open to interpretation. This lateness looks like a slap on the face. You have an angel who is asexual but somehow goes along with his vessel's sexuality for 10 seasons. Then all of a sudden, yes, he's gay. Angels can't be either or but sure, it's fiction, they could be converted to dragons if that's what the writers want. Like you said, the storyline last minute makes no sense. At the end, the actors were already paid their dues 😂😂😂
I can't wait for misha's future roles, here's to hoping he cameos in the boys or in there new project.

Couldnt they potentially bring back Castiel with his blood. When Castiel cut his hand to make the warding, they could have used his blood to bring him back just like Lucifers vessel did. Castiel will come back again. WITH THE POWER OF SUPERNATURAL, CASTIEL SHALL LIVE!!!!
I remember reading somewhere that near the ending was going to be sad. But in the end fans would be shocked.
@@user-gd7gu8to1t we better get a surprise that will blow our minds. id like to think the shock for fans is that lucifer wakes from the empty and helps the boys defeat chuck, when he’s using all his power to kill him, Micheal/Adam will touch his shoulder and his power helps lucifer, but it’s not enough so out of the shadows there’s another arm/hand reaching out to lucifers shoulder and helps kill chuck. And when the dust is cleared you can see the wings, glowing eyes and then finally we see his face and it’s castiel, more powerful then ever. Dean looks at him in astonishment and when castiels wings disappear dean walks slowly up to him and says “cass? Cass is that really you?” And cass looks Dean in the eyes, doesn’t respond but just takes deans hand to tell him that it’s him, he’s alive. (Haven’t figured out the rest yet but I’d love to see this) (not that it’s gonna happen or anything but it’s an scenario that I think would really be a cool scene)
@BadGirl TheyCallMeBadBecauseI'mNotGood The thing is...The Empty is where all the angels and demons go when they die. It's like two vast armies waiting to be awakened and used. Could it be that, in order to finally end the intrusions, The Empty 'disgorges' all (but Cas) for battle against Chuck/Chamara?

Yes !! Thank you for saying that! I genuinely believe that the writers made it ambiguous so fans can analyze the scenes the way they felt it. And I felt like Cas knew this was his very last moment and I couldn't help but think the one thing he wished he could have but couldn't was being human ( humanity) so he thanked Dean for teaching him and showing him and changing him. When he first came to earth he didn't understand humans and didn't need to because he had orders and but he changed by season 5 he was already helping them save people. Of course he's going to express his love to them and thank them for changing him for the better in his very last seconds . They were a team for so long they took cas in like a brother he became like a family. He was always in love with humanity and did his best to protect them till the very last second.
And Cas changed everything for the better❤
Ok MY GOD thank u, this last minute destiel just felt wrong for so many reasons. Like the unrequited love was too heartbreaking and it felt rushed. But reading it like this. It would make SO much MORE SENSE to me. (But everyone can see this as they like i prefer to not see it as canon destiel, destiel is forever canon in our hearts but this wasnt what they deserved)
@@claireredfield4202 exactly! How many times did he tell them that he loved them? At least three times towards the end. That's how much he had changed. He experienced humanity and loved it even more as time went by and the real deal breaker were not even Sam and Dean, but Jack. He literally felt like a father.

To everyone who's trying to say it's a platonic thing. It isn't. Castiel clearly said what he wants is something he can't have. Castiel knows Dean is not in love w/ Castiel, but he's content w/ that. He loves Dean and he's confessed his feelings about how he feels about him and how he's changed his life.

@@gunnyo50 first of all, it's 14 year old white girls who think everything is gay, not white boys. Second of all, I agree with you almost a hundred percent. You see, Jared and Jensen can make changes to the script because they have leading roles in the show, but I don't think Jared would make it canon and I know Jensen won't make it canon because he himself said that he doesn't feel comfortable playing a gay character. Also, Misha has no control over the script because he doesn't play a leading role. Third of all, I'm gonna add to your argument a bit. The shoes biggest theme is family. It's about two brothers and they're family, which is mostly surrogate, aka they aren't related, that sounds like Castiel. Furthermore, Cas said that Sam, Dean, and Mary are his family.

I am in tears trying to see the comments.. They are All so beautiful... And it's true. LOVE IS LOVE... that isnt anything that can be put into words.. This show gave me so many opportunities to explain to my younger daughter and my older daughter how to played into things from our bible.. Ofcourse in a modern-day version... They also loved watching. My daughter wouldn't hollar to me Mom SUPERNATURAL IS ON... It was an escape from every day work and chores to see we do have real monsters out there.. To make sure my girls knew that bad people and monsters look just like every one else... And for them to not be afraid. They can handel them self's now and are very much aware of there surrounding... THANK YOU TO THE WHOLE CAST FOR BRINGING THESE CARICATURES TO LIFE... THANK YOU....

I have looked forward to this, bro. 😊 The Angel of Thursdays, always and forever. As much as it pains me Cas should not return. Maybe at some point in the future revival because Misha is all too talented but, I see many Supernatural fans who want him back right away. That's understandable however, in a series where Death is an inconvenience it should hold weight sometimes and Supernatural thrived with just Sam and Dean for a long time before Cas and come revival time (Keep the faith and make some noise) I just want it to be J2 again for a long time, with all due respect to Misha and the wonderful range of talent he's brought to SPN for 11 years.
I'll never forget my awe as a 12 year old kid when I realised this Constantine looking guy was an Angel of the Lord and my thrill that Angels were being depicted as Mighty Warriors in Cas' debut and not the hall mark card interpretation. A shame we didn't get badass Cas back before this but, his performance ensured that some cringy lines were not as cringy and we got to see 1 best friend say goodbye to the other. Dean is the best being Cas ever knew in all his time on Heaven and earth, that's what he was saying. The handprint was really a very emotional part. Nothing ever really ends.. Does it? Not on Supernatural but for now, Castiel, goodbye old friend. Awesome work, my man. Fantastic input, great editing. An amazing tribute. Thank you
I really didn't want destiel to be canon. I saw screenshots Cass saying I love you but I thought it was brotherly farewell or I hoped it was. But his entire speech was screaming a love confession. It was hauntingly beautiful and broke my heart but my reaction was like Dean. Not sure what's happening, is he in love with him, we're to episodes away from the finale and he's saying goodbye what the hell? I'm still not sure what to feel about romance between them sooo confused
@@elenabaek3004 actually now I'm not sure if their farewell scene was romantic. Because I recently watched the finale again and Sam and dean's farewell was same as Dean and Cas'. If you replaced Sam with someone else it would definitely be like a romantic vibe. But it was Sam and Dean you know, so it's love between brothers. And with Dean and Cass, I think it was the same, brotherly love. Which is the one I prefer because romance was never the main thing on this show it was family. They didn't even show Sam's wife or mother of his child because it's not as relevant as Dean Jr, or Sam and Dean's reunion. And that's why this show is so precious, it's all about family coming before everything. At least in my opinion, I suppose.

Honestly they went off the rails with the lore. I stopped watching when they made God act like a scumbag. Got busy with life haven't seen much since season 8 I think when they became men of letter? and they were doing some kind of trial to shut hells gates.

I have to comment on this, first of all thank you for all your hard work that you put into these videos! Truly enjoyable to watch! But I have to add, at the end they say "No chick flick moments" But anyone who watched the last episode of season 15 it was definitely a chick flick moment! Love this show, couldn't ask for a better cast!

I can do with the ending and the sad song now, after many hours of rewatching. but i really cant do with goodbyes. 1. Castiels goodbye was hard as frick but alright 2. Misha saying goodbye to the crew and everything, that starts to really tear me up 3. The real life threathening goodbye to their families, i broke down. it has been 15 years of show. the started 2005, the episodes aired in the ending of 2005, i was born in January 2005. It is my whole life, Sam and Dean grew up just like i did. And it has now ended? But... nothing really ends, does it?

I stayed watching because of angels being introduced, then when I saw Misha's acting, that was it! That is the only reason why I continued watching SPN. What an amazing interpretation of an angel, really what an angel probably is, protector of a creation. AMAZING! The other angels, unfortunately had no vision into this philosophical and religious being.
Although angels weren't introduced until season 4, Castiel was not the first angel to appear. Gabriel was despite Sam and Dean not knowing it until later.
