i have been trying to get this damn run just right for weeks now. when i started, my total funger playtime was at like 100 or 115 hours or something. now its at 168 hours. it wasnt even the best it could be, you'll see how once you get to the end of the video. but i did it. jesus christ. to anybody wondering why the time in the title is 22 00.64 but the time at the end is 22 00.77 is because the speedrun moderators decided to cut some milliseconds off. so thats nice!

ironically enough that mistake made me realize its substantially faster to skip isayah altogether and just use an empty scroll for walk on water. if i ever retry this run, which will probably come at some point with how flawed this run is, im definitely trying that

Extremely easy RNG to roll. Happens basically 3% of the time!!!! (Genuinely can't tell if Dark Priest or Outlander have worse RNG requirements pff. Dark Priest optimally needs a lot of Empty Scrolls and a few good fights, but Outlander needs so so many good fights..... I mean I've only attempted Outlander so I'm biased but maybe Dark Priest does have it worse, considering SYLVIAN)

@@Blackberry-Mochi honestly the sylvian fight is practically trivialized once locust swarm is used (apart from her entanglement move), i just completely forgot that strategy this run because i havent really fought sylvian a whole lot in my attempts and In General so i forgot that strategy when i had such a large adrenaline rush from getting there in the first place
ragnvaldr S ending speedrun is something i do NOT want to tackle though, no thank you

I'm so fucking glad the golem got entangled first then pff. GAME THROWING A LIL BONE LIKE A SWEETHEART. I just remember getting SO FAR INTO AN OUTLANDER SPEEDRUN, JUST HAD TO FIGHT ANCIENT GUARDIAN AND SHAKESPEARE, AND..... missed the attack on the guardian, which would've killed with poison even without a crit, and then got chain-concussed to death pff. Genuinely such a bad category don't ever fucking do Outlander S yeah it's for your own good (recent strats I've seen make things more consistent with the two really bad fights, Tormented and Granny, but STILL. YOU STILL NEED A LOT OF CRITS OTHERWISE... And very few misses...)

i have no fucking clue and honestly you can believe it to be modified rng all you want cuz its absolutely fair to say so but i did spend like two weeks of attempts to get this run which is quite imperfect on its own so theres that

​@@AideeKay12 I believe this run is real without a doubt. I got 3 empty scrolls from a bookcase once, and also 2 empty scrolls from two crates right next to each other. Sometimes you just get lucky
