Brahma did not marry his own daughter he married daughter of mahalakshmi saraswati. His daughter sarasvati married vishnu. There are two goddess named saraswati they are apra saraswati who is Brahma daughter and pra saraswati who is the daughter of Brahman (He is not same as Brahma they are two individuals). In rigveda it is written but in purana they are talking about his kingdom. Lord Brahma is called Prajapati and a king is also called parjapati. And the king's sabha (minister) and villages are called daughters of the king and it is written in the perspective of that. British scholars changed the whole meaning of the context that was written in Sanskrit. Anyway Brahma daughter is white in colour and the Brahma wife is red in colour.

✓ GOD IS ONE IN HINDUISM: • BHAGAVAD GITA: The most popular amongst all the Hindu scriptures is the Bhagavad Gita. Consider the following verse from the Gita: "Those whose intelligence has been stolen by material desires surrender unto demigods and follow the particular rules and regulations of worship according to their own natures." [Bhagavad Gita 7:20] The Gita states that people who are materialistic worship demigods i.e. ‘gods’ besides the True God. • UPANISHADS: The Upanishads are considered sacred scriptures by the Hindus. The following verses from the Upanishads refer to the Concept of God: "Ekam evadvitiyam" "He is One only without a second." [Chandogya Upanishad 6:2:1]1 "Na casya kascij janita na cadhipah." "Of Him there are neither parents nor lord." [Svetasvatara Upanishad 6:9]2 "Na tasya pratima asti" "There is no likeness of Him." [Svetasvatara Upanishad 4:19]3 The following verses from the Upanishad allude to the inability of man to imagine God in a particular form: "Na samdrse tisthati rupam asya, na caksusa pasyati kas canainam." "His form is not to be seen; no one sees Him with the eye." [Svetasvatara Upanishad 4:20]4 1[The Principal Upanishad by S. Radhakrishnan page 447 and 448] [Sacred Books of the East, volume 1 ‘The Upanishads part I’ page 93] 2[The Principal Upanishad by S. Radhakrishnan page 745] [Sacred Books of the East, volume 15, ‘The Upanishads part II’ page 263.] 3[The Principal Upanishad by S. Radhakrishnan page 736 & 737] [Sacred Books of the East, volume 15, ‘The Upanishads part II’ page no 253] 4[The Principal Upanishad by S. Radhakrishnan page 737] [Sacred Books of the East, volume 15, ‘The Upanishads part II’ page no 253] • THE VEDAS: Vedas are considered the most sacred of all the Hindu scriptures. There are four principal Vedas: Rigveda, Yajurveda, Samveda and Atharvaveda. Yajurveda: The following verses from the Yajurveda echo a similar concept of God: "na tasya pratima asti "There is no image of Him." [Yajurveda 32:3]5 "shudhama poapvidham" "He is bodyless and pure." [Yajurveda 40:8]6 "Andhatama pravishanti ye asambhuti mupaste" "They enter darkness, those who worship the natural elements" (Air, Water, Fire, etc.). "They sink deeper in darkness, those who worship sambhuti." [Yajurveda 40:9]7 Sambhuti means created things, for example table, chair, idol, etc. The Yajurveda contains the following prayer: "Lead us to the good path and remove the sin that makes us stray and wander." [Yajurveda 40:16]8 5[Yajurveda by Devi Chand M.A. page 377] 6[Yajurveda Samhita by Ralph T. H. Giffith page 538] 7[Yajurveda Samhita by Ralph T. H. Giffith page 538] 8[Yajurveda Samhita by Ralph T. H. Griffith page 541] Atharvaveda: The Atharvaveda praises God in Book 20, hymn 58 and verse 3: "Dev maha osi" "God is verily great" [Atharvaveda 20:58:3]9 Rigveda: The oldest of all the vedas is Rigveda. It is also the one considered most sacred by the Hindus. The Rigveda states in Book 1, hymn 164 and verse 46: "Sages (learned Priests) call one God by many names." [Rigveda 1:164:46] The Rigveda gives several different attributes to Almighty God. Many of these are mentioned in Rigveda Book 2 hymn 1. Among the various attributes of God, one of the beautiful attributes mentioned in the Rigveda Book II hymn 1 verse 3, is Brahma. Brahma means ‘The Creator’. Translated into Arabic it means Khaaliq. Muslims can have no objection if Almighty God is referred to as Khaaliq or ‘Creator’ or Brahma. However if it is said that Brahma is Almighty God who has four heads with each head having a crown, Muslims take strong exception to it. Describing Almighty God in anthropomorphic terms also goes against the following verse of Yajurveda: "Na tasya Pratima asti" "There is no image of Him." [Yajurveda 32:3] Another beautiful attribute of God mentioned in the Rigveda Book II hymn 1 verse 3 is Vishnu. Vishnu means ‘The Sustainer’. Translated into Arabic it means Rabb. Again, Muslims can have no objection if Almighty God is referred to as Rabb or 'Sustainer' or Vishnu. But the popular image of 9[Atharveda Samhita vol 2 William Dwight Whitney page 910] Vishnu among Hindus, is that of a God who has four arms, with one of the right arms holding the Chakra, i.e. a discus and one of the left arms holding a ‘conch shell’, or riding a bird or reclining on a snake couch. Muslims can never accept any image of God. As mentioned earlier this also goes against Svetasvatara Upanishad Chapter 4 verse 19. "Na tasya pratima asti" "There is no likeness of Him" The following verse from the Rigveda Book 8, hymn 1, verse 1 refer to the Unity and Glory of the Supreme Being: "Ma cid anyad vi sansata sakhayo ma rishanyata" "O friends, do not worship anybody but Him, the Divine One. Praise Him alone." [Rigveda 8:1:1]10 "Devasya samituk parishtutih" "Verily, great is the glory of the Divine Creator." [Rigveda 5:1:81]11 Brahma Sutra of Hinduism: The Brahma Sutra of Hinduism is: "Ekam Brahm, dvitiya naste neh na naste kinchan" "There is only one God, not the second; not at all, not at all, not in the least bit." Thus only a dispassionate study of the Hindu scriptures can help one understand the concept of God in Hinduism... Common Concept of God in Hinduism: Hinduism is commonly perceived as a polytheistic religion. Indeed, most Hindus would attest to this, by professing belief in multiple Gods. While some Hindus believe in the existence of three gods, some believe in thousands of gods, and some others in thirty three crore i.e. 330 million Gods. However, learned Hindus, who are well versed in their scriptures, insist that a Hindu should believe in and worship only one God.

@@dani7308 I should huh? 🤣 ok well many think Hinduism is this absurd menagerie of gods, when it really is all about the personification of intangible spiritual qualities. The Western superhero myths are an echo of this, so for instance the x-men are exactly the same concept, personification of qualities so that dramas can be used to illustrate their interactions. Hindu concepts such as Karma, Yoga, Moksha, Atman&Brahman are the real core of Hinduism, it isn’t just a playground for wacky gods. Anyway, Past-Present-Future is the Universal Trinity. Even an alien intelligence would understand the distinctions, but note: animals do not often think in these terms. So all trinities follow this universal model, collect ‘em all: Father, Son, Holy Ghost; id, ego, superego; ethos, pathos, logos etc. All industry is based on Input, Process, Output, and this is the essence of Past, Present, Future as evident in the civilized world. Things come in from the Past. Brahma is not often worshipped, not that great an idea to worship the past. Brahma can grant boons and that’s about it. Vishnu, with his manifestations as avatars, can and does play with the Present. And Shiva, with his meditative and libertarian yet FINAL nature, is the Future. If you contemplate the Past, you become like Brahma; Present, Vishnu; Future, Shiva. All three are equals. Without a compass you can’t navigate, these gods help you navigate time, by building relationships with each of them. There’s so much to be gained by considering a conversation with Shiva, while it is harder for us to consider a conversation with an abstraction like “the Future”. Right now, I am typing these words to you, in Vishnu mode. But I’ll paste them into my purplenotes because I bet Shiva will be interested in them. Anyway Hinduism as a philosophical framework is of universal significance regardless of one’s faith, just like the Greek, Chinese and German thinkers etc. It is the framework for the main religions of the world as it came first, it is identical to Taoism and the Egyptians and Native Americans in logos. That is the essence of Hinduism, that all religion worldwide comes down to a philosophical logos (ultimate point), no matter where it came from (ethos) or its manifestation as a part of a culture (pathos). The logos of man’s union with the Divine is a common thread of all true religions. Brahma is where it came from, Vishnu is how it appears in the world now, and Shiva is where it’s going and where it takes you.
Rumor has it that Jesus beat them in a handicap match to become world heavyweight champion , even satan hit Jesus with a steel chair and it wasn’t enough
Yes, the holy trinity in hinduism (Lord Bhrahma, Vishnu, and Shiva) has the great ability of the awareness of three tenses (past, present, and future). He was well aware that his first wife(goddess Sati)would die(actually she was leaving her human body) and second one(goddess Parvati)is the one who is going to be his wife forever.

The small details might not be correct but the concept and main events are true, like the conversation of finding end of pillar, but one big mistake, lord brahma lied that he found the end but lord vishnu didn't. So lord shiva came forward and told the lies of lord brahma and said no one will ever preach you, thats why there is no temple of lord brahma in the world or india,
Shiva is not just lord of demons! He is lord of everything. Vishu is the preserver, Brahma is creator and Shiva is destroyer. But Vishu and Shiva take similar duties when it comes to preservation or imparting knowledge. Vishnu sleeps in the cosmic ocean and Brahma borns in a lotus that blooms from the navel of Vishnu. Vishnu asks Brahma to create. In Hinduism we have Manvantras which are a collection of Yugas , which are like a timeline of civilization. We are now in Kali Yuga. When we say Brahma , he is not just one God , but it is a role . When Shiva destroys, along with everything the God who took the role of Brahma also dies and a new Brahma will be born. It is the skulls of those dead Brahmas that are worn by Shiva as a garland.

The fact of it all is there is a supreme energy from which all these gods were created, meaning, Brahma, Shiva, Vishnu, Devi's are all same energy at various levels and so are we humans & creatures that are at lower level yet with devotion & moral behavior one day our soul will get moksha, liberation & move to a higher level! Shiva, Vishnu & Devi are the highest levels of this energy that transends dimensions! They are all but One! They play, they teach, they have their stories & followers, they have their own duties & responsibilities but they are one in the end! Just like fire that burns, spreads & takes several forms of intensity, yet is one and the same!
Hello to my Hindu friends, Iam really captivated by Hindu religion and I want to learn me about it, can anyone of you help me in this. Like what should I read, and watch or is this video actually acurate ? I did heard about the ramayana and the maha bharat what order do I read hem in or should I know something more before divulging into them
Ramayan and Mahabharat are two separate tales but I recommend reading Ramayan first as Mahabharat is quite complicated. Also before reading these you should read about lord shiv and lord Vishnu as you'll find lot of connections.
And the description you gave he was not like this from the starting lord shiva had many phases and he took many avtars all the things he did have him the final disguise Like the snake and the moon and the trident If you know he once was mahakaal where he did not had serpent or the rudraksha And also the power of the third is so great that even other lords will be destroyed if they see that eye while it's open
The first minute of the vdueo talks about, nasadiya suktam, purusha suktam and the hiranyagarva which are Vedic hymms , while having a pinch of creation theory from vishnu puran. Interesting stuff, you could put sources with the narration ngl. The orther parts are most likely from shiva puran. The story about swaraswati can be found in various purans in varioud forms, bhagawat puran is a good source.

Most of the information given here is wrong , According to vedanta philosophy of Hinduism the creation is as follows- Purushsa->prakriti ->mahat(cosmic mind)->ahankar( feeling of I ness)->3 gunas and from 3 gunas this world has been formed. In puranas this concept has been explain through stories. That avyakta assume a form Narayana( according to the vaisnavas) or Shiva ( according to the shaivas) From the navel of Narayan emerges Brambha, brambha becomes manu and satarupa to create beings. Now in Purusha suktam in the vedas it has been explained the every came into existence from that one Purusha, his eyes became the sun, mind the moon, breath the wind, mouth fire ,so on.... in nasadiya suktam - "Who knows how all these came into being ,as the Demigods were also not created then, may the Supreme God knows it, or may be not! "
Don't take it litral....I think All this gods & things are moreover a philosophy & definitely not the History...., That 5th head is menifestation of ego... & Shiva menifestation of destroying power cut the ego from Brahma menifestation of "creation" ..... Means for any creation or for doing constructive work you 1st need to be ego free.... Like you should not be like "I" did this..., Or sunk in Pride like it's done bcoz of "me" ..... Well this is just a thought .....
Some Hindus take it as History.... But this history is described differently in different scriptures. In Bhagvat Puran it says 1st came lord Vishnu.... In Shiva Puran it says 1st came Shiva..... In shakt parampara they believe 1st there was a shakti who gave birth to Brahma, Vishnu, Mahesh. So I don't think we should take it as History... Hindus should accept the FACT that this are all just mythology....& Stories are philosophical & not litral.... They are written to get some Wisdom & not to teach History...🕉️🕊️
Yeah but how do we know this if no humen being were created at the start and if it was written in a book who wrote it? And what happened to the person or god who wrote it and why did they wrote it
It is not like that, you need to know the history and no Hindu has claimed that humans existed at the same time, the stories were narrated by lord Bramha to select sages who wrote it down, and all gods are immortal, I can’t explain it in a comment but I will advice you not to listen to this video it is utter fail, a gazzalion mistakes go and find a verified source like Isha foundation please refer to that channel not this if I had to explain you the concept and storied myths in Hinduism or Sanatana dharma I’ll have to continue for a few generations of my family 😂❤️
Because it shows they are no different than us. Even the divines have same traits as us good or bad. Shiva gets angry easily but he works to calm himself by meditation thus suggesting that we can do the same. Instead of fighting with others over something simply calm yourself and choose wisely

Six Days? The Qur'an states that "Allah created the heavens and the earth, and all that is between them, in six days" (7:54). While on the surface this might seem similar to the account related in the Bible, there are some important distinctions. The verses that mention "six days" use the Arabic word "youm" (day). This word appears several other times in the Qur'an, each denoting a different measurement of time. In one case, the measure of a day is equated with 50,000 years (70:4), whereas another verse states that "a day in the sight of your Lord is like 1,000 years of your reckoning" (22:47). The word "youm" is thus understood, within the Qur'an, to be a long period of time -- an era or eon. Therefore, Muslims interpret the description of a "six day" creation as six distinct periods or eons. The length of these periods is not precisely defined, nor are the specific developments that took place during each period. After completing the Creation, the Qur'an describes that Allah "settled Himself upon the Throne" (57:4) to oversee His work. A distinct point is made to counter the Biblical idea of a day of rest: "We created the heavens and the earth and all that is between them in six days, nor did any sense of weariness touch Us" (50:38). Allah is never "done" with His work, because the process of creation is ongoing. Each new child who is born, every seed that sprouts into a sapling, every new species that appears on earth, is part of the ongoing process of Allah's creation. "He it is Who created the heavens and the earth in six days, then established Himself on the Throne. He knows what enters within the heart of the earth, and what comes forth out of it, what comes down from heaven, and what mounts up to it. And He is with you wherever you may be. And Allah sees well all that you do" (57:4). The Qur'anic account of creation is in line with modern scientific thought about the development of the universe and life on earth. Muslims acknowledge that life developed over a long period of time, but see Allah's power behind it all. Descriptions of creation in the Qur'an are set in context to remind the readers of Allah's majesty and wisdom. "What is the matter with you, that you are not conscious of Allah's majesty, seeing that it is He Who has created you in diverse stages? See you not how Allah has created the seven heavens one above another, and made the moon a light in their midst, and made the sun as a (glorious) lamp? And Allah has produced you from the earth, growing (gradually)" (71:13-17).

This video is full of incorrect facts. You should research more before making a video. Let me just point out one of them. Shiva is not Lord of demon😑. There's no concept of demons in Hinduism. Shiva is pashupati. Pashu means animal or living being, pati means lord. Shiva is Lord of all beings. He's called as devadi dev which means God of gods. For Shiva everyone is equal. From a virus, bacteria to humans, giraffe and elephant. Shiva accepts those who are discarded by society. So please don't confine him just to demons. Shiva is for all.
@Veer Savarkar, The Man Greater than Gandhi Shiva is definitely Lord of demons but he's not restricted to demons. He's Lord of all forms of life. You cannot limit him to his name of Bhootnath ignoring his other names like Pashupatinath, Mahakal, Devadi Dev Mahadev which means God of Lords of heavens. Shiva is the supreme reality. Shiva never discriminate among Devas and Asuras. He never favors one person over other. He doesn't even favor human above other creatures. For him everyone belongs to him and no one belongs to him.
a lot of information in this video is misleading a incorrect. Many event given here never happened. Sai ha burned herself on shivas insult and parvati was her rebirth. Also parvatis father did not like shiva as the groom for his daughter

✓ GOD IS ONE IN HINDUISM:
• BHAGAVAD GITA:
The most popular amongst all the Hindu scriptures is the Bhagavad Gita.
Consider the following verse from the Gita:
"Those whose intelligence has been stolen by material desires surrender unto demigods and follow the particular rules and regulations of worship according to their own natures."
[Bhagavad Gita 7:20]
The Gita states that people who are materialistic worship demigods i.e. ‘gods’ besides the True God.
• UPANISHADS:
The Upanishads are considered sacred scriptures by the Hindus.
The following verses from the Upanishads refer to the Concept of God:
"Ekam evadvitiyam"
"He is One only without a second."
[Chandogya Upanishad 6:2:1]1
"Na casya kascij janita na cadhipah."
"Of Him there are neither parents nor lord."
[Svetasvatara Upanishad 6:9]2
"Na tasya pratima asti"
"There is no likeness of Him."
[Svetasvatara Upanishad 4:19]3
The following verses from the Upanishad allude to the inability of man to imagine God in a particular form:
"Na samdrse tisthati rupam asya, na caksusa pasyati kas canainam."
"His form is not to be seen; no one sees Him with the eye."

• THE VEDAS:
Vedas are considered the most sacred of all the Hindu scriptures. There are four principal Vedas: Rigveda, Yajurveda, Samveda and Atharvaveda.
Yajurveda:
The following verses from the Yajurveda echo a similar concept of God:
"na tasya pratima asti
"There is no image of Him."
[Yajurveda 32:3]5
"shudhama poapvidham"
"He is bodyless and pure."
[Yajurveda 40:8]6
"Andhatama pravishanti ye asambhuti mupaste"
"They enter darkness, those who worship the natural elements" (Air, Water, Fire, etc.). "They sink deeper in darkness, those who worship sambhuti."
[Yajurveda 40:9]7
Sambhuti means created things, for example table, chair, idol, etc.
The Yajurveda contains the following prayer:
"Lead us to the good path and remove the sin that makes us stray and wander."

Atharvaveda:
The Atharvaveda praises God in Book 20, hymn 58 and verse 3:
"Dev maha osi"
"God is verily great"
[Atharvaveda 20:58:3]9
Rigveda:
The oldest of all the vedas is Rigveda. It is also the one considered most sacred by the Hindus. The Rigveda states in Book 1, hymn 164 and verse 46:
"Sages (learned Priests) call one God by many names."
[Rigveda 1:164:46]
The Rigveda gives several different attributes to Almighty God.
Describing Almighty God in anthropomorphic terms also goes against the following verse of Yajurveda:
"Na tasya Pratima asti"
"There is no image of Him."
[Yajurveda 32:3]
Another beautiful attribute of God mentioned in the Rigveda Book II hymn 1 verse 3 is Vishnu. Vishnu means ‘The Sustainer’. Translated into Arabic it means Rabb. Again, Muslims can have no objection if Almighty God is referred to as Rabb or 'Sustainer' or Vishnu. But the popular image of
9[Atharveda Samhita vol 2 William Dwight Whitney page 910]
Vishnu among Hindus, is that of a God who has four arms, with one of the right arms holding the Chakra, i.e. a discus and one of the left arms holding a ‘conch shell’, or riding a bird or reclining on a snake couch. Muslims can never accept any image of God. As mentioned earlier this also goes against Svetasvatara Upanishad Chapter 4 verse 19.
"Na tasya pratima asti"
"There is no likeness of Him"
The following verse from the Rigveda Book 8, hymn 1, verse 1 refer to the Unity and Glory of the Supreme Being:
"Ma cid anyad vi sansata sakhayo ma rishanyata"
"O friends, do not worship anybody but Him, the Divine One. Praise Him alone."
[Rigveda 8:1:1]10
"Devasya samituk parishtutih"
"Verily, great is the glory of the Divine Creator."
[Rigveda 5:1:81]11
Brahma Sutra of Hinduism:
The Brahma Sutra of Hinduism is:
"Ekam Brahm, dvitiya naste neh na naste kinchan"
"There is only one God, not the second; not at all, not at all, not in the least bit."
Thus only a dispassionate study of the Hindu scriptures can help one understand the concept of God in Hinduism...
Common Concept of God in Hinduism:
Hinduism is commonly perceived as a polytheistic religion.
There are millions of stories...which ones are true? who knows!

I invite you to be a Muslim. Latest, last and only valid religion in the Hereafter. First step is to say "I witness that there is no god but ALLAH, and i witness that Mohammad is Messenger of Allah" and believe in this. Islam is a monotheistic religion. Allah doesn't accept the existence of false deities and He orders humanity to believe in only one God, Him. He explains why it is impossible the existence of gods other than Him in Holy Quran in chapter Isra which means The Night Journey and in chapter Enbiya which means Prophets..
Quran-Isra-43
Say, [O Muhammad], "If there had been with Him [other] gods, as they say, then they [each] would have sought to the Owner of the Throne a way."
Exalted is He and high above what they say by great sublimity.
The seven heavens and the earth and whatever is in them exalt Him. And there is not a thing except that it exalts [Allah] by His praise, but you do not understand their [way of] exalting. Indeed, He is ever Forbearing and Forgiving.
Quran-Prophets-22
Had there been within the heavens and earth gods besides ALLAH, they both would have been ruined. So exalted is Allah, Lord of the Throne, above what they describe.

Six Pillars of Faith in Islam
1-To believe in Omnipotent Allah (GOD) (without ascribing partners to Him. Without saying "He has a son." Without saying "He has a helper out of weakness")
2-Angels (Without giving them woman names. Without saying "They are daughters of Allah")
3-All Holy Scriptures (Books revealed by Allah)
4-All Messengers (accepting them as human beings not gods or sons of God)
5-Judgement Day (Resurrection Day)
6-Destiny
Five Pillars of Islam
1- SHAHADA
To say "I witness that there is no god save Allah, and i witness that Muhammad is His Messenger."
2- SALAT
To perform prayer 5 times a day.
3- SAWM

In another version Saraswati shows up late for some event and Brahma marries Gayatri and his wife Saraswati curses her husband that he won’t be worshipped except in one place. Explain

Yes ofcourse
Yes, the holy trinity in hinduism (Lord Bhrahma, Vishnu, and Shiva) has the great ability of the awareness of three tenses (past, present, and future). He was well aware that his first wife(goddess Sati)would die(actually she was leaving her human body) and second one(goddess Parvati)is the one who is going to be his wife forever.
Shiva is God of time and her wife is the goddess of Power and energy and their unification form space-time(shiva-shakti).

Most of the information given here is wrong ,
According to vedanta philosophy of Hinduism the creation is as follows-
Purushsa->prakriti ->mahat(cosmic mind)->ahankar( feeling of I ness)->3 gunas and from 3 gunas this world has been formed.
In puranas this concept has been explain through stories.
That avyakta assume a form Narayana( according to the vaisnavas) or Shiva ( according to the shaivas)
From the navel of Narayan emerges Brambha, brambha becomes manu and satarupa to create beings.
Now in Purusha suktam in the vedas it has been explained the every came into existence from that one Purusha, his eyes became the sun, mind the moon, breath the wind, mouth fire ,so on....
in nasadiya suktam -
"Who knows how all these came into being ,as the Demigods were also not created then, may the Supreme God knows it, or may be not! "
I Am in Dilemma.... How A GOD has Wife?? How a God Cut Another GOD'S Head???......However, I am Not Disrespecting Or Criticizing....

How can these gods fighting among themselves for a greater power??
Because it shows they are no different than us. Even the divines have same traits as us good or bad. Shiva gets angry easily but he works to calm himself by meditation thus suggesting that we can do the same. Instead of fighting with others over something simply calm yourself and choose wisely
@@digvijaykhojare3511 Yea, but that means their not divine, nor gods, and why the hell would god want to have sex and have children? this means they are fake, the real definition of God is that he should not have someone greater than Him, and no one is his son nor daugther nor wife, nor relative. God is someone who cannot be compared to human beings. The only God that fits this definiton is Allah

Just so everyone knows there is no one singular creation story in Hindu there are several stories that vary in details but there is a jest If you look and study hard enough

In later Vedic texts the word Asura means demon as does Rakshasa.
