Two quick little comments. I cannot tell you how many times I have paused your video to go turn off my timer and then realized it was YOURS! :) Secondly, I shared some of the details of my new system with my husband and very gingerly suggested that he might want to try something like it with his tasks....impressing on him that "you can do anything for 15 minutes." After going outside to trim down a rather thorny shrub that was in need of attention, he came in and said, "Was I supposed to quit after 15 minutes or 15 puncture wounds?" :)

Hello Diane from OZ., Decluttering for 5 mins as part of my evening routine while I am listening to you. Rang back to lap top at hearing you saying "squoosh" squoosh- squoosh". Made me laugh. I am taking in flylady by osmosis listening to you. Almost all visible surfaces are now decluttered. Keeping on with the drawers in the bedroom zone this week, and the wardrobe/closet between work and study. Thank you for the tip about a tray on the dresser. Off to find one... Thank you again. x

gotta love your chattiness Diane.. I'm absolutely loving doing my chores with your chatter in the background.. I just keep going on automatic.. And so enjoy your sound effects of a spray bottle when glass cleaning too.. (lol)
I absolutely admire the light and airiness of your Danish home too - everything always looks so fresh and calm... And how gorgeous is that wallpaper in your room??
Keep on the great work and LLAP!! :) Helen

I'm following! I did the Master bedroom windows and curtains yesterday, today I dusted and vacuumed, AND I went through MY clothes and sorted out a bunch to give away. I also went grocery shopping. Yea me!

Thank you for the reminder to start with the 31 steps. My issue is that I don't have clutter, but I also don't have a schedule for cleaning. I'm working on making a journal now and getting some organization for myself as well as my house. Things look tidy on the surface but are a mess underneath. Thanks for the daily inspiration!

Diane, you are such an inspiration to me, thank you so much. Your energy is infectious :) Even my husband has noticed the house looking much better since I started really following Fly Lady. - Anne Marie

Love every one of your videos! You've probably already tried this, but a plain wet purple rag squeezed almost dry works better for me on windows and mirrors than Windex and a rag (inside and out). No streaks and p****ly clean. I thank you for that, btw. Until your videos I wouldn't have thought about cleaning the windows as each zone came up. Now it's the first thing I do. Love those clean windows!!

Just thought of a tip you might like, I'm a cleaner as my job so I'm always using different people's feather dusters. If I need more length (short girl problems) I push it into the pole of the hoover and get more length that way :-).
Ps. I also do 3 sprays down glass and fold the cloth to save it lol

I love it when you can't remember the word you're looking for because I can't remember simple words either!! Is it our age ??? Thanks for another great video. The sun is actually shining here in England so I am off outside in the garden to fill the brown wheeley bin ready to put out the front tomorrow . xx

Until your videos I always felt like the windows would take forever, and so conveniently forgot them most of the time. But you help make me motivated to try to tackle them. I did mine along with your video. I'm a bit short so I couldn't quite reach the top, but held onto the idea of some is more than none, so did not stop to haul in the step ladder - which is what I think always made it seem so arduous.

We won't need the heat on until November, still hot and humid here in the coastal southern US and hurricanes are very active this year. Weather is different everywhere!

Is that a dehumidifier, in your bedroom, in corner? Do you use it because you said the weather is changing and that causes condensation? If yes! How often do you use it? Thank you for the videos.

    • @DianeinDenmark

It's automatic, so it just turns on itself when necessary!

Diane in Denmark could you please do a video on the dehumidifier you are using ,as many people have condensation problems in their homes. I feel it would benefit many people including myself.
