    Yes!! I love this. I was suicidal for over ten years so it made “dying to myself” and surrendering my life to God easier for me. I surrendered all friendships and only kept what God approved, am waiting for the husband He has specifically told me about (I stopped dating and officially decided I’d “wait till marriage”), and have a job that’s literally perfect for me (I had to completely get rid of my desire to earn a substantial living and give 100% of my desires to please the Lord). I gave up EVERYTHING for Him and do as best I can to obey Him in all He asks of me. Things are finally changing and I feel like I’m on the cusp of seeing heaven in earth in terms of purpose, provision, and people in my life. I’m not suicidal anymore, He has given me so much hope and purpose. He’s taught me to value Him first in everything and because of it I know I’m right where I should be. Blessings are acts of love from God, if they don’t further our relationship with Him then He will refine us until they do!

We have to prove to him that we've learned all that he has to teach us, before we can graduate to the superuniverse level. Yea exept you have to imulate his actions you can't have everlasting live without babtism
      THE ONLY WAY TO GO TE HEAVEN IN 7 STEPS
      1. Get to know God
      2. Relent and Repend sin ask for forgiveness
      3. Accept Yeashua as your King and savior
      4. Get babtised in full submersion in the name of the Father Yahovah and in the name of the son Yeshua and in the name of the holispirit, the true living word of God and obtain the Holispirit
      5 keep and know that the holispirit is the only true living word of God and that the bible is nothing more than a book to refrance this is why chiristians all high and mighty go to hell they renounce the holispirit by proclaming a useless book the living word of God
      6. Stay the hell away from anny sin, you sin out of free will you loose the only chance to be saved the holispirit .. YES IMPORTANT NOTICE A CHILD OF GOD HAS NO REASON TO SIN BECAUSE THE HOLISPIRIT MAKES YOU STRONGER THAN SIN, YOU ARE NO LONGER OF FLESH YOUR BORN IN SPIRIT SO YOU NO LONGER BELONG TO YOUR FLESH YOU BELONG TO THE SPIRIT SO NOTHING BUT YOUR OWN WILL TO SIN IS KEEPING YOU BOUND TO SIN
      7. MOST IMPORTANT SPEND AS MUCH TIME AS POSIBLE TO GET TO KNOW THE HOLISPIRIT IN SIDE OF YOU ASK IT QUESTIONS IN THE BEGINNING USE THE BIBLE AS A WAY OF LEARNING TO UNDERSTAND THE HOLISPIRIT EVENTUALLY HE WILL LET YOU KNOW ABOUT CHOISES IN LIFE AND EVENTUALLY YOU WILL HAVE PROPER CONVERSATIONS WITH GOD THROUGH HIM, BUT REMEMBER NO BOOK NOR ANY HUMAN CAN BE RIGHT OVER HIM ...

    Do you guys think you can do a video on the word “world” one of these days? I’m a youth pastor and many of my students are confused by passages such as “Do not conform to the pattern of this world” and “Do not make friends with the world”. Our culture typically depicts the word “world” in a very optimistic and unified way, but the biblical authors typically use the word to describe a fallen state of humanity that redefine good and evil on their own terms. It would be great to see that word have an animation one day from you guys ♥️

      That would be amazing. As an addition to these verses, remember that there is another instance of "World" in John 3:16 that has helped me understand a bit about Gods perspective on the fallen world, that He loves it so much that He sent Jesus to redeem it.

    This teaching blessed me so much. I've always had such a hard time trying to get excited about the "reward of eternal life" and "having an eternal mindset." I just couldn't connect with the idea that everything in my life is going to suck but I should be happy because someday I'll drop dead and I can enter into "the sweet by and by." Having come from a suicidal background it just kinda made me think, "Okay, so kill me now?" haha. It's a selfish mindset now that I'm further along in my spiritual maturity--and it's this understanding that we're also conduits of eternal life and bringing it to others. The idea that we can experience eternal life now gives me so much hope, and like David I know I'd've given up if I hadn't seen the goodness of God in the land of the Living.

      He's sleeping the sleep of death. He's not in heaven now. That's why we sing, "When the saints go marchin in, I want to be in that number when the saints go marchin in" - we don't march in individually at death, but collectively at the Resurrection of the Just.

Just to say, I wouldn't bother with this correction, as it is completely irrelevant to your own life if somebody has a different interpretation on this point.

      @@stetsonscott8209 You must think the "Rich Man and Lazarus" was a true story but it isn't, it's a parable. Jesus was speaking to the religious leaders and the Scriptures plainly state he would only speak to them in illustrations, or parables. It is NOT a true story for a number of reasons.

    • @stetsonscott8209
      @stetsonscott8209 10 місяців тому

      @djparsons7363 I didn't say that, it's actually a thing I have been wrestling with a bit - so I'm a bit agnostic on the subject (and it doesn't matter as my point was already made by 2Cor 5:8). Even taken as a parable, it still leaves open that there is truth in the situation at some level. I'm not sure Jesus claimed to ONLY speak in parable to religious leaders, but he did do that often. The discussion is like debates around pre/mid-tribulation, parousia/rapture, Hell qual theories, head coverings, women in ministry, creation specifics, spiritual warfare, and more. I would put the issue at hand at 3rd or 4th order of importance, but I could see how some Catholics might not rate it quite as low and put it near 2nd order of importance (because of veneration and prayer to saints). For me, if somebody is being comforted by God's grace, I'm not going to quibble with them over some 4th order issue that has been debated without definitive resolution for a millenia. What profit is meant to be had? If a loved one has died, it is true they are with God - which is beyond our understanding. So I'm not about to burden somebody with my own pet theory in their grief. That seems wildly unloving for the sake of personal pride or paranoia. Maybe the only way we can conceive of that state is a metaphor or thrown-down imagistic narrative - so why would I insist on my particular metaphor in that sensitive context ?

My life doesn’t feel so eternal. Yet at the same time, I still believe he will bring me into something peaceful in my life. I’m frustrated deeply, but at the same time I’m still trying to believe. • @MarkWCorbett1
    @MarkWCorbett1 2 роки тому +5

    From a linguistics point of view, defining the phrase "eternal life" in the New Testament as meaning "life unto the age" is just wrong. The Greek word translated "eternal" is aionios and aionios really does mean eternal. It does not mean "unto the age" (which may or may not be eternal). The ranges of meaning of the Hebrew word olam and the Greek word aionios overlap, but they are not identical. While I thank God overall for the BibleProject ministry, I feel this particular video is misleading (even though it certainly contains some important and wonderful truth).

    • @JonCollins
      @JonCollins 2 роки тому +1

      It’s important to remember that Jewish authors of the NT wrote in Greek but thought in Hebrew.

    • @MarkWCorbett1
      @MarkWCorbett1 2 роки тому +1

      @@JonCollins , Yes, generally they were influenced by Hebrew. But that doesn't mean they used aionios to refer to anything that was not actually eternal (at least when looking forward in time, which is the majority of cases). There's no evidence to support that. And sometimes olam in Hebrew did refer to truly eternal things. Certainly, Paul, writing to largely Gentile audiences in Greek speaking areas, would not have wanted to confuse the heck out of them by using aionios to refer to something that was not eternal. "Eternal life" really is a good and accurate translation and the good folks (and I do view them as good!) at the Bible Project just unintentionally confused a lot of people with this video.

    There is no after life, there is only THE LIFE. There is no death, there is only a transition of states. God forsakes no one, nothing and all are sent by the divine decree. Death is the last state you conquer before returning to the almighty in realization that not even death can conquer your immortal spirit. This is why the parable of the king's ball for his daughter is told. The wicked and the just will appear but those not worthy will be cast out (non believers, people who have no hope/love/faith in their hearts what so ever, deny God completely. Just love is good enough, I promise you. For God is ALL love and love is infinite power. Those who have been embraced by God, know this truth.). The story of life is not about Good or Evil but turning to God in all that you seek. So inwardly begin to imagine and you will see more clearly than the rest.
    There is truth in life in Christ in the here and now, but also in the shifting. The higher dimensional realities of energy - which is all that you are. Rather you are consciousness. The wisdom of the bible is not known by humanity it seems because no one finds this and begins to turn within to believe. No one meditates when they're told through the night is when the spirit comes to you. This is why Jesus rebuked his disciples for falling asleep. Because if you can maintain consciousness between the state of asleep and awake, you will see truth. It's a parable of the truth of humanity.
    Your own imagination is the awareness of God in you, and if you misuse it, it will be useless to you. But if you turn to it and seek not only guidance but the truth - you will be guided to it. Then people will begin to understand 2 Corinthians 13:5 and the test being mark 11:24.

    • @isaiahreno
      @isaiahreno 2 роки тому +1

      Yep, they need to do one on "Hell". Only problem is that the theology varies per person. I'm an annihilationist, and I think Scripture explicitly supports this. Hell shouldn't be portrayed as something above and beyond God's perfect justice. It makes me sick about the torturous conditions that some Christians portrayed as 🤮

    • @casenswartz7278
      @casenswartz7278 2 роки тому

      @@isaiahreno I think we need to understand that there is Sheol, the place of death, and then the lake of fire (Hell), the place of eternal torment. We all go to Sheol, but we are then separated by goats and by sheep, and the goats go to Hell, and the sheep to paradise.

    • @isaiahreno
      @isaiahreno 2 роки тому +3

      @@casenswartz7278 No, eternal torment isn't true. Here's why I don't think so:
      God is JUST, and people will get exactly what they deserve (neither more, neither less)
      As Scripture states:
      _"And do not fear those who kill the body but CANNOT kill the soul. Rather fear Him who can DESTROY (Greek "apollumi" literally to completely obliterate) BOTH soul AND body in hell."_
      Matthew 10:28
      _“For behold, the day is coming, burning like an oven, when all the arrogant and all evildoers will be STUBBLE. The day that is coming shall SET THEM ABLAZE, says the Lord of hosts, so that it will leave them NEITHER ROOT NOR BRANCH. And you shall tread down the wicked, for they will be ASHES under the soles of your feet, on the day when I act, says the Lord of hosts."_
      Malachi 4:1‭, ‬3
      Now, if you were to quote Matthew 25 you think it would refute it:
      _"Then he will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels.' And these will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.”_
      But, the word "eternal" or "everlasting" in regards to punishment may not refer to the experience, but to the *effects only.* In Jude it states that the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah suffer the punishment of eternal fire, but they aren't currently burning today...
      _"just as Sodom and Gomorrah and the surrounding cities, which likewise indulged in sexual immorality and pursued unnatural desire, serve as an example by undergoing a punishment of eternal fire."_
      Jude 1:7
      Therefore, it leaves the door open to the possibility that Scripture may refer to merely the effects, and not everlasting conscience torment. Nobody, not even Hitler, deserves an everlasting fire that he will consciously experience for all eternity.
      I can give more verses, but I'm trying to make a main point with these.

      @kayelash, the vid is a bit confusing. For we will be raised from the dead. That is the Hope for believers. As Paul said, I believe God will raise all people from the dead.

      It goes without saying, that when all people are raised, then judgment will happen. And the books will be opened.

    This video has broken it down simply and eternal life makes a whole lot of sense. The Zoe life that Jesus gives us is experienced here on earth and continues after we depart this earth into the presence of God where death has lost its power. Glory to Jesus!!! Jesus Christ is indeed THE ONLY WAY TO THIS LIFE!!! Very eye opening!!! God bless you so much Bible Project team!!!!

      God placed man in heaven on the earth from the beginning, calling the air we breathe heaven/ firmament. You will never be with GOD. He is already in his Kingdom (which is within you kjv) and shall not come by observation kjv. Therefore we need no sun/ light because He is the light.
      When one passes away they enter the world again as a baby. But if you believed in Jesus/Yashaya you enter into the Kingdom of God/heaven (firmament). Strive to be greatest and not least (kjv)

      Yes.. any time you see the mistranslation Everlasting, think Agelasting instead.
      Every time you see hell incorrectly added, realize it's actually Sheol, Hades, Gehenna.. and the Lake of Fire isn't "Hell" either.
      And when you see "punishment" it's not torture, it's "correction".
      And when you see "torment", the original meaning was to test for purity of precious metals with a touchstone..
      Which is also why fire and sulfur is mentioned so much, that was how they refined silver and gold.
      So it's no coincidence that all over the bible it says God is a refiners fire.
      Lake of Fire is going to be a horrible experience for most people, but they will be refined, the sinful nature destroyed, they will not inheret the kingdom but will be allowed entrance eventually.
      1Cor15:22 For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ shall all be made alive.
      1Tim4:10 Savior of all people, especially of those who believe.
      John 20:29 ..but blessed are those who have believed and not seen.
      All will eventually see, believe, bow, confess and worship God, but better to do it now and skip the lake or fire.
      Either way, the Hebrew and Greek makes it clear.. God is Good, and He is our Savior not our torturer.

    There is NO GREATER DECISION than accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior! I am so happy in knowing that the Son of God lives within my heart! Thank you Jesus, for being my Lord and Savior and for the forgiveness of all my sin, by your precious blood. I love you and serve you with all my heart.

    Who sent Jesus from heaven to cure The Blind? According to Jesus quoting Isaiah 61 in.. Luke 4:17 So the scroll of the prophet Isaiah was handed to him, and Jesus opened the scroll and found the place where it was written: 18 “Jehovah’s spirit is upon me, because HE .. ANOINTED ME.. to declare good news to the poor. HE..SENT .. ME. to proclaim liberty to the captives AND A RECOVERY OF SIGHT TO THE BLIND, to send the crushed ones away free, 19 to preach Jehovah’s acceptable year.
    John 4:34
    Jesus said to them: “My food is to do the will of him who sent me and to finish his work.
    John 6:38
    for I have come down from heaven to do, not my own will, but the will of him who sent me.

      This is so tremendously screwed up and not quite wrong its a verry good thing its a short story and will be taken as such cause rhere is way more to this than your weard explanation 😀 ok it some how put a smile on my face.... but THE ONLY WAY TO GO TO HEAVEN IN 7 STEPS

    I'm looking forward to the day when we (as a church) can teach the Bible as the brilliant book it is, instead of watering it down to "Jesus will make you live forever in the sky."
