      Some of the photos on the Amazon link show a dual crown fork. Is it now shipping with dual crown fork? (the headlight mount works better on the dual crown fork) Also are there any options for front basket (for a small dog)?

    I own this bike 52v version. I have 185mi on it in 30 days. The display sucks. Battery life is about 75miles throttle only at 30mph. I'm 200 lbs. I live in a flat ground area. Headlight kept coming loose but I fixed it, however the light is brighter than any motorcycle i have owned. Brakes kinda of suck but work ok. All in all, it's been a great value. I would buy it again

    For anyone who is interested. I just got the 52V version and there are some differences in regards to the 48v version. 1. The 52v version comes with CST BFT 20x4 branded tires. These tires aren't high end by any means but they are a better quality than the tires shown in this video. 2. The 52v version comes with different grips and a half twist throttle instead of a full twist throttle on the 48v. The front fork is identical besides the lock out knob on the right hand side which is black instead of blue small difference but it's there. Top speed on the 52v version is 31mph (yes GPS tested it) 48v version is 28mph maybe 29mph from what I've seen GPS... The 52v has a 1000w hub motor instead of a 750w hub motor on the 48v. Torque is a bit more on the 52v version too 100NM vs 80NM a significant difference 74 ft-lbs vs 59 ft-lbs. The display plastic casing is a bit different on the 52v version as well. Also the display comes a bit dim from the factory you can go into setting and brighten the display it makes a big difference. Either way this bike is a good bike not perfect by any means and could use some improvement in some areas but for the price and the battery capacity you can't beat it.

      I've been waiting for someone to do a video on the 52v/1000 watt version but can't find one yet on UA-cam. Thank you so much for doing a comparison! I wish that the Ariel Rider Grizzly and Wired Freedom bikes had this 60Ah battery. Is the rear suspension of your 52v Aniioki comfortable enough and frame durable for dirt trail riding?

    • @zeppast
      @zeppast Рік тому +2

      @@raypabs5374 Hey yeah no problem! To answer your question yes the rear suspension is actually pretty stiff but comfortable and has never bottomed out on me. The front fork is on the soft side it's not bad though. You could definitely use the bike for light trail riding with no problems nothing heavy though as it's just not built for it. The frame is super solid and heavy duty I can't see you having any issues. At some point I would definitely swap out the tires for some Shinko's or better if not definitely get some tire sealant like Flat out or Armadillo's as the tires are on the thin side. That's what I did and so far I've had zero flats.

    • @raypabs5374
      @raypabs5374 Рік тому +1

      Hey bud, I'm planning to buy this ebike and whould like to know if your 52V Aniioki Q177 shipped to you with a 48v motor? People are stating that the 52's are shipping with the weaker 48V hub motors.

    • @zeppast
      @zeppast Рік тому +2

      @@raypabs5374 Yes It did ship with a 48volt motor but that shouldn't really matter though. The motor itself doesn't have any power just a wattage rating. The battery and controller are what really matter as they are supplying power to the motor. The motor its just a conduit really. Now the big question is are they using a 48 volt controller? If they are that would really be false advertising. They should be using a 52 v controller and battery. The battery definitley is 52 v I have no idea about the controller though. I would ask Aniioki and see what they say. Either way it's still a good bike for the price. I'm not apologizing for Aniioki though If that really bothers you I would look at buying another bike. For my needs it's worked great though.

      @raypabs5374 Рік тому +2

      @@zeppast thanks for the response! Here's Aniioki's response to me when I emailed them about buying a 52V Aniioki ebike if it would come with a 48v or 52v battery.
      "Hi
      There is no mistake, if you buy a 52V electric bicycle, then we will equip you with a 52v motor, otherwise your electric bicycle will not work, and our battery charger is also equipped with a 52v motor, which you can Relieved.
      Best Regards
      Aniioki Ebike Musk
      Anyway, they only reason that I want this bike is for the battery size or its range. I will carry the ebike cross country to ebike as many national parks as possible and I don't want to worry about running out of battery. As you stated, I would also try to find a controller for it up to 40 amps. Thanks bud!

      Have you ever rode an Ebike? They’re a blast and you tend to adventure out to places you’d never consider with a conventional pedal bike. My first Ebike was a 26” fat tire 500w 36v 13 AH Battery with some pedaling it will go 24-30 miles. After my first maiden voyage I realized that wasn’t enough range for me as I’d stay out several hours each time so I bought a spare battery and added a rack in the rear with a pouch. Swapping batteries got old fast so I installed a 20 ah battery on the rack with a toggle switch to go from one bat to the other. This set up gives me 70- 85+ miles which is fine and I’ve almost used up both batteries several times! I’ve since bought this beast and am testing it out. So far I’ve gone about 105 miles using mostly throttle at 23-27 mph and it’s at 45 Volts now. I think I can go about 25-30+ more miles on throttle only. To me that’s awesome. Last week I went from Queens to Manhattan and back about 62 miles of riding. Then took her on another route to add another 40+ miles the next day

    I see on Aniioki's current (4-7-2024) web page the current AQ177 Pro max has a double shoulder (top & bottom tube mounts) forks like a downhill MTB. The one you tested has the single shoulder forks. Must be a upgrade now

    What is the rim inner width? Those tires seem unnecessarily wide and I'd like to find out if narrower options can be mounted.

    • @AlbertKimTV
      @AlbertKimTV  Рік тому +1

      I'm told they are wider to accommodate the extra weight so what you're planning to do will probably make the bike ride a lot worse or even make it dangerous.

    • @thoocas
      @thoocas Рік тому +1

      @@AlbertKimTV By far the majority of the weight comes from the rider. This e-bike/human combination is just 40-50% heavier than a road bike/human combination, yet the tires are more than 4 times as wider. It's without a doubt an overkill, at least for paved surfaces, and selected for marketing rather than safety reasons.
