That key change just brought this to a new height...I can see why Smokey loved this version.
People will be singing Smokey Robinson songs until the end of time because his lyrics are timeless. So many others have recorded and performed this song but I must say these guys are amazing 👏

Exactly. Notice the one part where Smokey slightly dips to chest voice they kinda cover up that part with accapella because this singer likely doesn't have that smokey-low in range.

I saw these guys at the Venetian in Las Vegas in January of this year. Incredibly good! Wonderful show. For 4 white guys from Australia, they do Motown proud. They are funny too!

I came across this track whilst watching the film Cooley Heights. Now regarded as "a classic of black cinema". I saw this film when it came out in 1975 and recorded this track to cassette. The whole soundtrack is full of great Motown tracks.
