Changing the colour made it more calming, brighter and lighter at the same time, with a modern look.
I know this video is a year old, but I wanted to let you know what a fabulous job you did! The bottom cabinets may not have as much contrast as you wanted but I think less is more. The whole kitchen looks amazing!

What a transformation! I love the colour(s) you have chosen and it really reflects so much light into the room. I too have wooden units in my kitchen and often have to switch on the electric lights during the day. I know from changing the inside of our front door from wood stain to white how much lighter it is in our hall. So, you have inspired me now to tackle the kitchen too and I have found your video a useful resource. So thank you for making it :)

It's absolutely beautiful Megan! I love lots of light and bright colours, and this completely transformed your kitchen into a cooking heaven. Well done! You must love spending time there now, expecially after doing it yourself. 😊 BTW, don't worry about the shades not being too different. It's lovely as is. Anything darker would break the purity and "angelness" of the space. 😉

Being a throw away society never made sense. AL Gore was right. We need to reuse things best way we can. This video inspires me to paint my cherry kitchen. Looks gorgeous! And so glad to see someone with counter tops that aren't WHITE and the white cabinets still looks great. I'm having such a hard time picking a white paint because all these designers say you need to paint your caninets with what your have in your counter tops! Ugh. I have All different colors so it's driving me crazy.
