If i may say you shouldn't on the purse and the second pad at the same time. Next time use the purse to crush while the other pad is off. After crushing you use the off an on pad to smooth.

so sad, i an a victim too. just bought mine same as yours (SC-1589) though the spellings are correct, but it started smoking at the first usage when grinding tomatoes - just tomatoes and on the second time heavy smoke and eventually stopped. so painful.

From my observation, you dont know how to use the blender. The button on the right hand is for hard blending between 20 to 30 seconds on and off. To blend yam u need hand little water too. The watts of your kitchen socket should also match the blender, also u are not supposed to use both buttons at the same time.

This is not a food processor, its a blender,you will kill the blender early, you are supposed to add water in what ever you are blending,please purchase a food processor.

I think this is a miss use sis and to think it's 4500W not even 6000, 8000 or 8500W...
Well I don't know but I have been using my 8000W for almost 2yrs now and it's still working amazingly well.
My friend uses her 8500W to pound yam and it's been over 8 months now and it still works amazing...
It works for pounded the yam though but you just need to get the trick on how to use it well. The way the thing blended glass in the adverts, you'd expect it to do better with yam. That's why I know mine is fake.
This lady misused the blender. The blender is not a yam pounder. Apart from this she overloaded it and the cassava were too big. For anyone to enjoy a product, it's good for the product to be handled with care.
And she don quick tag the product fake even say na from Nigeria😂😂😂
First thing I noticed is most of the people trying this product for the first time don't read the instructions, that's not safe or accurate.

Got a Hamilton Beach personal blender instead. Totally worth it.

The process of making fufu with this blender is even wrong. You need to cut the uncooked cassava or whatever it is into smaller pieces , blend it and now put it on fire 🔥 and then continue the process.

Fufu can be made from yam, cassava or plantain.

Well after owning mine for about two months the metal below the blades started getting very corroded. Do not recommend.
It's been 4 months and mine now has a very loud sound when I'm blending. When I checked it was the same as your - rusting.
It’s metal for crying out loud and when it comes into contact with water continuously ,it will definitely rust 😢

It works for pounding yam. I have now figured out a trick to do it. It works but it's still fake. The correct one should even do a better job. If it can blend glass, then pounded yam should be easy.
Madam with blenders you need to first of all learn how to use it appropriately, because if you misused a blender it will get bad and u will end up tagging it fake , meanwhile its wrong usage

My dear d truth remains dt u didn't read manual b4 operating. Imagine allowing blender to work for 4mins straight. Who does dt? Even d strongest blender would stop. D problem here is dt some ppl uses blender as if it's big engine dt can work for a straight long time
